      Although it’s not our place to ask God why He does what He does, He did provide the guidance that we should try to understand Him. What follows is a subjective summary of the old and new testaments, with some implied theories regarding the relationship between God and people. For the purpose of this discussion we’re only concerned with the broad concepts from the bible. We’re interested in the sentiment being communicated, rather than the specific words used or the actual events being described. We’re also less concerned with the questions that aren’t actionable.
