    Photoshop is of great importance to engineers, bloggers, designers, artists and promotors in the digital world. Every item of value needs a quality picture to go with it. Everyone needs a piece of Photoshop. However, most of the current manuals on Photoshop are either a 600 page encyclopedia or poorly written blog posts that are impossible to replicate.
    This book can be used for multiple Photoshop versions. The symbols that represent the tools in this book teaching you how to use rarely change between the different photoshop versions and their purpose rarely changes. In reality, the developers at Adobe cannot have their consumers constantly relearning software or other options like Gimp will be sought out as a much easier alternative. Each version has implemented changes but rarely is a tool taken out of the software in the same process and even rarer still is a basic tool removed, which will be the types of tools we review here. Therefore, the version doesn't really matter so long as the version is between CS5 and up as CS4 and below may be lacking some of the tools added into CS5.
    Additionally, even if you decide to use a free open source software like Gimp later on down the road you can bring what you learn from this software over to that software. The symbols used to represent the tools may change between software but you will find that many of the tools are the same. This is because the tools are based in art and art techniques, which rarely change over time but do occasionally improve. This allows many artists to pick up different software and become acquainted with that software rather quickly.

      A History of Photoshop

      Photoshop goes back a long way in computer history, starting out in 1987 when it was sold to Adobe. That's right, even though this wonderful software was not an idea generated by Adobe, they saw the importance of Photoshop right from the beginning. It was originally called displayed and the original creator, Thomas Knoll, needed some encouragement from his brother for the program to become a fully-fledged photo editing software. Even though Photoshop was developed in 1987, the first official release didn't come out until 1990 where it sold for $300 an hour. Accounting for inflation, that would be $559.15 an hour in today's money, which would pay for nearly 4 years of the newest Photoshop from the web.

      Originally, Adobe's concept of allowing for Cloud interfacing and the initial signs of no longer own any of the software began with the Creative Cloud. This concept was released in 2013 and not very well received by the community as it often caused complications with offline users and users who preferred to have the standalone version of the software as they had enjoyed for nearly two decades beforehand. This led to many reverse engineering the CC software to block the subscription service and the branding came under some severely negative press. The problem with Adobe at that point though was that so much of the industry relied on these tools that they really had nowhere to switch to when the company started doing things that the consumers didn't like. As a result, many of the original users just renewed out of a forced decision to either use the software or make due with the many bug-ridden copycats of its time. Back then, software like Gimp and Sony Vegas were extremely limited in what they could do. The criticism was so significant that it managed to receive a
