Diary Of A Wimpy Noob - Nooby Lee

    ~Part 1: Allow Me To Introduce Myself...~

The toughest part of telling a story is knowing where to begin. If you start too early, you run the risk of flooding your audience with too much unnecessary information, causing them to lose interest. But exclude too many background details and your tale seems hollow and lifeless. A dull story is, in my opinion, one of the greatest crimes a storyteller can commit. It was these things that I considered when choosing the start point of this tale. And while many possible points came to mind, I ultimately decided to start my tale on the day that I met Lanny.

I had been spending my day down at The Tilted Table, the local arcade in downtown Meep city. I had been quite a lot of time there lately. Partially because I really enjoyed playing the video games they had there, and partially because I liked sneaking glances at the cashier. The one with the 'bodacious tatas' as of the local guys would say when she couldn't hear her. I didn't deny that she was very well endowed, particularly for a Roblox girl. I had planned to talk to her, but I needed to work up the courage.

Unfortunately for me, I never got the chance before my fateful run-in with Lanny Partay.

He was walking out of the back door of a rather derelict building adjacent to The Tilted Table, with his head tilted downwards, too busy studying an object in his hand to notice where he was walking. I tried to sidestep him but he mirrored my movements perfectly, and before I had a chance to say anything we walked directly into one another.

Hey! Watch where you're going! The man bellowed while trying to hurriedly stuff a piece of paper into his pocket.

You're the one who isn't looking! I protested.

The stranger seemed to understand that it was he who most likely was at fault, and he relaxed. Smiling, he held out his hand.

Sorry about the dust-up old friend! He gushed through a grin full of teeth. I was a little distracted.

Forget about it, I said, intending to conclude the conversation and go on my way. The stranger had other ideas though.

He studied me briefly and then cast a quick glance into the arcade which I had just left. The Tilted Table huh? It's a pretty grand place! I've been a few times myself. I'm not much for video games, but the scenery is to die for!

When he mentioned the 'scenery' his eyes gleamed and he elbowed me in the side. I tried to play it cool, but the fact that
