    GiGi Duvall wrote her first "book" at nine years old, which consisted of 4 handwritten sheets of paper stapled together: crayon-colored cover included. When writing about southern Louisiana, Cajuns, and the bayous, it's from real life. She spent a lifetime on the bayous with people who really did act just like the characters she creates. With a strong curiosity for all things criminal, she earned a B.A. from the University of South Alabama in Criminal Justice and then a Master's in Criminal Justice from Capella University. Southern Louisiana will always be home even though GiGi now lives in Maryland. Married to her very own Prince Charming and living happily ever after for more than twenty years, she designs happily-ever-afters for the characters she calls her imaginary friends.
