    (Verse 1)

I’m feelin’ sexy, burnin’ hot tonight

My body’s rockin’ to the beat so tight

Look at these people tryin’ to cool me off

My Pookeyology just wants me to

    (Chorus)

    Get off

    Get some Pookeyology

I wanna feel your body next to me

    Help me get off

    Sexy, Pookeyology

I don’t think that you can handle me

    Help me get off

Get off, get off, inside my Pookeyology

Get off, get off, get off

    Get, get off

    (Verse 2)

Don’t try to fake it, you can’t hide from me

    We’ll make great intimate fantasies

Unlike the others, I can make you scream

Just step inside my Pookeyology, and

    (Chorus)

    Get off

    Get some Pookeyology

I wanna feel your body next to me

    Help me get off

    Sexy, Pookeyology

I don’t think that you can handle me

    Help me get off

Get off, get off, inside my Pookeyology

Get off, get off, get off

    Get, get off

    (Rock Rap)

    Somebody make some noise

    Where’s all the nasty boys

    Let’s hear the ladies scream

    You know what I mean

What I got, I’m gonna give it all to you

And if it’s tough, it’s gonna make you more strong, Boo

I’ve seen a lot and done so many crazy thangs

That gave me hype to write this Pookeyology

    Pookeyology is my history

Now my life ain’t got no mystery

Rock over here, rock over there

Let’s rock this place up everywhere

    Say Pookeyology

    Let me hear you say

    Pookeyology, yeah

I know that you want me

The way that you stare at me

Why don’t you come for me

    Baby, just come for me

And step inside my, step inside my Pookeyology, ooh

So when I say, Step inside my Pookeyology, what are you waiting for?

    Come on in and enjoy.

    Part I

    Lies

Yeah, I was born, not hatched! However, I feel as though we are taught to create shells around our true selves as we lose sight of who we truly are. You would think that everyone was promised a fair shot at life, especially after your mom brings you home, and all of your loved ones are giving you so much attention and showering you with all kinds of love and affection. We all know that that is a very short period when we affectionately feel completely loved and human. Even then, we don’t realize that we are already being conditioned for all the dysfunctions that exist in our families and our society.

This is not a story of someone who feels sorry for himself or herself; it’s a very bold and aggressive approach to keeping it real and finding a way to understand and accept oneself as is and without all of the false beliefs or labels. This is also about surviving and learning that we must let go of our old thinking, behaviors, habits, and inherited beliefs that don’t serve us before we can prepare ourselves for a true reality check. You see, I wouldn’t be here writing this if it weren’t for the spiritual guidance of my dear friend and mentor, Ron Blair. I also wouldn’t have this newfound strength and wisdom if I hadn’t experienced all the tragedies and injustices that life has to offer.

So when I say, Keep it real, I mean keep it real. Do you know what it’s like to feel rejected and out of place all of your life? Have you gone through life always trying to be validated, even by people who weren’t worthy of your time and energy? Have you ever felt violated in your life by the ones you love and trust the most, as well as by the false representations of justice in our society? When I say violated, I’m talking about violations of the heart and the mind and the spirit. You know what I mean…

In life there is not a start and a finish line where we can define our entire lives while we’re still alive. Even after we are gone from this realm, isn’t it the memories that our loved ones share about us that keep our spirit and hopes alive? With this in mind, you might better understand the concept of the beat goes on.

So, as I begin to tell you some of my most intimate experiences, remember that it’s not over yet and that I am a growing work in progress. I am made of millions of flaws glued together with true faith and hope into the perfect being that my Creator has made me to be. Everything in life does happen for a reason, and we have to be conscious and aware and mindful to understand why we are here and what we are experiencing in this lifetime.

Many things are determined about how we will think before we are even born. These are things that are taught to us, such as lines of separation, territories, prejudice, hatred, color lines, dysfunctional behavior, lust, emotional values, false thinking, and false realities that can have a tremendous effect on us throughout our lives. These things often control our behavior, reactions, and perception of most of our life experiences.

For instance, when our mothers’ have baby showers before we are born, everyone brings gifts of blue for boys, pink for girls, and yellow for the unknown gender. I don’t like or believe in the term gender, but I will use it for clarification, okay? In other words, we have labeled a color that doesn’t exist in reality because, in true reality, everything is one and the same. Then we make a color into a gender preference so that girls are prone to like pink and boys are prone to like blue. Pink is feminine and blue is masculine, right?

The strange twist to this delusional society is that if a girl wears pink, she is cute and if a boy wears blue, he is adorable. What about when that girl wears blue and the boy wears pink? Because of our warped thinking in society, if a girl wears blue, no one takes notice other than she is wearing blue, but if a boy wears pink, he is called a faggot and a queer, looked at strangely, and ridiculed by his peers. If a girl wears pants, no big deal. However, if a boy wears a dress, he is strange and needs counseling. Relax, people, it’s just a piece of material, and in reality it doesn’t even matter because clothing has no meaning or value whatsoever, unless you believe it because society says so!

In today’s society, we place certain fabrics at high values and even watch women buy dresses and men buy suits at astronomical prices, don’t we? Therefore, I don’t believe in society for all the unrealistic thinking that is brainwashed into our innocent minds. We are all precious beings in this universe, and we all have a very special purpose.

I did say, innocent, and yes, I am innocent! Well, at least I would like to believe that I am. Hey, if we could believe that a color has a gender connotation associated with it, then I can believe that I am innocent, sweet, pure, and demure! Get over it!

In keep it real terms, I am regressing to my perfect innocence that my Creator gave to me when I was first conceived, before family, teachers, religion, life stresses, and society harmed my innocent spirit. We are taught to be distracted most of the time so that we don’t live in reality with a true spirit. We learn not to listen to ourselves and others, and to possess our ego at every opportunity we are given. Above all else, we learn to lose control of who we really are and to try to prove to others that we can be just like them and succeed like them. What is so exciting about being like someone else or consciously being a follower?

I guess the leader-and-follower theory has ruled society for many centuries so that government or royal families could control our human behavioral patterns and thinking. What do you think, really? Is this how you want to feel inside? Is this what you want to teach your loved ones through inherited beliefs for generations to come? True, some people are so caught up in their destructive thinking that they don’t allow any reality to enter their world and often wonder why they are here or why they never truly succeed in life. Most of us in this world live without purpose or meaning while desperately trying to fit in.

Not too long ago, I felt sorry for myself. I call this phase of thinking PMS, or poor me syndrome! I felt helpless at times until I finally got rid of my old thinking and beliefs that didn’t serve me or humanity. After all, we are human beings, or at least we’re supposed to be. Ask yourself if you’re not allowing the idea of being human to enter your thinking?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love life,
