SKU-000544828_TEXT.pdfMY DEAREST FRIEND
May I introduce you to my dearest friend
I met many years ago?
Through the years, I’ve cherished this friend.
Even today I depend on and love this friend so.
This friend has never spoken an unkind word,
nor has ever put me down.
This friend has always put a smile on my face;
Even on the days I feel to frown.
This friend is not only a friend in fine weather,
but has walked with me through life’s storms.
When I contend with this world’s cold realities,
this friend’s love keeps me warm.
Oh, by the way, my friend’s name is Jesus.
I know he would love to be a dear friend to you.
You’ll never meet another
who would be a friend so faithful and true.
…and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs18:24
NOAH
I’m Glad To Be On The Inside Looking Out
There was a time when the Lord was grieved.
when he saw the wickedness of man.
So he said "I will destroy both man and beast,
that has populated the land;"
"Every creeping thing upon the earth,
even the fowl of the air;"
"For all the violence man has done,
is more than I’ll forebear!"
But there was a man by the name of Noah;
a just and perfect man was he.
And Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord;
because he walked before the Lord righteously.
God told Noah to build an ark of gopher wood,
and partition it within.
He gave him a set of blueprints,
on just how to begin.
The length was to be four hundred fifty feet,
and forty five feet high.
Noah knew if he built it God’s way,
it would be a vessel on which he could rely.
Noah’s massive ark was to be seventy five feet wide.
It had to be big enough to get all his family and animals inside.
Noah cut out a window underneath the roofline
for light all the way around.
He pitched it inside and out with tar,
to make its buoyancy sound.
The Lord said unto Noah, "Come into the ark.
Bring your wife, your sons, and your daughters-in-law;
It’s almost time to embark.
Now bring the clean animals in by sevens;
bring the unclean in by two.
Bring of them, both male and female";
And Noah did all God commanded him to do.
God told Noah that it would rain
for forty days and nights.
But God made a covenant with Noah and all his house,
that he would see him through the awful plight.
So after they entered into the ark of safety,
God himself shut the door.
He had dealt with the wicked heart of man,
and he would deal with it no more.
As the waters increased and prevailed,
Noah could say without a doubt,
"It’s so good to trust the Lord;
I’m glad to be on the inside looking out".
Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah,
so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man";
For in the days before the flood,
they were consumed with their own plans.
They were unaware and unprepared,
until the day the flood swept across the land.
Even as it was then, so is it today;
many are unaware and unprepared,
for the coming of the Lord’s great day.
And what are we doing to show these the way?
May we give heed to Noah’s story;
it might be a lesson well learned.
Let us soberly and patiently watch,
for the Lord’s return.
If Jesus is your ark of safety,
you can say without a doubt.
I’m glad to be on the inside, looking out

ABRAHAM
God Provided Himself A Lamb
…And Abraham said,
My son, God will provide himself a lamb.
Genesis 22.8
And it came to pass that God tested Abraham
to see what was in his heart;
For God said, "Abraham, take now your son,
into the land of Moriah apart."
"Upon a certain mountain
you will offer him, as a burnt sacrifice;
I will show you the one."
So Abraham rose up early, gathered the wood,
and took two young men, and Isaac, his son.
Now after a three day journey,
Abraham lifted his eyes
