About this ebook
Have you ever asked God, What is my purpose? Why did you call me
What am I here for?
I have. We all have.
Those questions are not relegated to a certain group of people. The purpose he has for my life is your purpose as well. How he uses us as vessels to bring it forth might be different, but the result is the same. This book will answer those questions, give you a perspective for a fuller, more abundant life, and help you to discover your value in the Kingdom of God.

Such an influence upon the heart of the masses stands the test of time.

In her newest book, God Still Uses Vessels, Juanita Weiss renders one of the best explanations I’ve ever read of just how God, the Potter, takes us, the clay, and forms us and fashions us to be vessels that strengthen His Body and advance His Kingdom. I could not help but to pray that I too will be a willing, prepared, encouraging and faithful vessel of honor used by God in this 21st Century. This is a must-read for serious Christians who desire to identify God’s purpose and plan for their lives.
—Dr. Timothy C. Lambert,
Founding Pastor,
Christian Embassy International Church
Often, we ask Why would God want to use someone like me?
We are very cognizant of our imperfections, but guess what? So is God! God Still Uses Vessels highlights how God has chosen imperfect vessels to make them into vessels of honor to bring forth His perfect will. As you read this Rhema Word, you will be blessed and empowered to show forth His glory in the earth.

Founder and CEO, Steps-2- Success, Inc.
When Juanita Weiss asked me to review her recent manuscript, I readily accepted and looked forward to an enjoyable read. When I received her manuscript, I immediately realized that this would be a book worth reading slowly and fully in order to glean the wisdom that God has placed into her heart and soul. Of course, as a Biblical Archaeologist, one who is interested in vessels
from ancient times, I was intrigued, beyond measure, by the title. Biblical archaeologists like pottery for two reasons: 1) pottery is very enduring, and 2) the pieces of vessels excavated assist us in understanding and dating an ancient society. Juanita has demonstrated that the vessels God has created are very similar: they are enduring and they help us to understand God’s desire for His society. Take some time to read about the pottery mentioned in God Still Uses Vessels and learn from these vessels of antiquity how God desires for His people to act today! Learn what it means to be a vessel of noble use rather than a vessel of common use. Select to be a vessel that reveals God’s glory to the world and maybe one day a future archaeologist, when digging in the dirt surrounding your life, will say, This is a vessel worthy of being called noble.
—Dr. Donald McNeeley,
DBS, Tidewater Bible College
God Still Uses Vessels is a powerful book with unparalleled insight into the heart of the Great Commission and what our role was meant to be from the time we were created, to the time Jesus came to earth until now. If you were ever confused or uncertain about what your place and mission ought to be in the Kingdom of God, look no further. Vessels will simplify and bring magnifying clarity to what it is God seeks from us and how we can deliver that effectively and simply in the Kingdom. You’ll be able to see the world more clearly as two sides of God’s coin, honorable vessels, which are what believers strive to become, and dishonorable vessels, vessels for common use too powerful to ignore, are revealed in glaring truth. I promise you one thing, you will never forget this book or the incredible lenses it gives you to see the world as God sees it, simply, justly, and without corruption of His master plan for our lives as a people. Vessels will alter the way you view your destiny!

To Dr. John Mannion, teacher, mentor, and friend.
Most of what I have written in this book is because of your profound and lasting influence upon my life. Your message was always vessel theology,
and now it is mine.
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? (Romans 9:21 kjv)
SKU-000483796_TEXT.pdfThis is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD: ‘Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.’ So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. (Jeremiah 18:1-4)
SKU-000483796_TEXT.pdfFor God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. (2 Corinthians 4: 6-8)

I began this book in 2003, so it is the result of the influence of many people. Perhaps one of the greatest influences in writing this book would be those who collectively made up Tidewater Bible College. Thank you to the students who showed unrivaled passion for God and his Word, some who commuted hundreds of miles just to attend. Your insatiable search for truth and the transparency with which you embraced the truth you discovered still moves me today. The instructors—your dedication to your students, the integrity in which you handled the Scriptures, and the jewels that you poured into my life as a student and as a colleague forever changed me. Thank you!
I would like to thank all the wonderful people of Tidewater Bibleway Temple; you showed me what it means to fall in love with Jesus, and you supported me and sowed seeds of inspiration into my life. Foreword
Have you ever scratched your head and wondered what is God doing in the world today? In God Still Uses Vessels, Juanita Weiss (Minister, Bible school founder, popular conference speaker, and author) rightly teaches that you are God’s change-agent, or vessel,
to transform the world. And, oh, how the world needs you now! Treat yourself by listening to Juanita open her heart and share timeless truths and personal experiences that will transform your view of God, yourself, and others. And with each turn of the page your ultimate purpose will become clearer, as Juanita reveals God’s intentions and methods in using vessels like you and me to advance His Kingdom.
But Juanita goes far beyond simply commu-
nicating these truths… she lives them. My wife and I have been privileged to know the author for nearly a decade, and gladly attest that Juanita is a blessing to everyone around her. She continually seeks to be used by God for honorable purposes, and the daily results are undeniable. In short, Juanita gracefully blesses all those she touches, and I genuinely admire her for this. Thankfully, she has now penned the unmistakable wisdom and inspiration which have formed her into an honorable vessel, and enabled her to strengthen the brethren and evangelize the lost. This timely book will inspire and empower you to follow Juanita’s excellent example, as she follows Christ. And, like me, you will surely attest that Juanita has refreshed your spirit. So, prepare yourself to change this world for Christ, because… God still uses vessels.

Preface
The following story is probably not true, for it has no Scriptural basis of support. But I must preface this book with the words of this story. You will find that the story gives weight to the message of this book. The story goes like this:
Jesus ascended into heaven after His mission on earth was completed. The angels asked Him if he accomplished His goal. Jesus, of course, answered them with a victorious, Yes.
Then the angels asked Him whether or not the whole world had heard of him yet. Jesus answered, No
to that question. So the angels curiously asked Him what His plan was. He said he had left eleven men and some followers to spread the message throughout the whole earth. The angels looked a little
