Author

Sharon Lopez

Sharon is a multi-genre young adult author that dabbles in adult tales from time to time. It’s all about the story is not just a catchphrase but a spirit that is inside all of her books. When she is not writing, she can be found getting lost in other author’s worlds, watching Slice Of Life Anime, or getting annihilated as she tries her hand at various video games. She is inspired by many things. Whether it’s an encouraging word, a kooky dream, or a personal experience, she will put it to excellent use. As a defender of the defenseless, Sharon’s characters take on this persona with strong female leads and males that are protective, perfect, boyfriend material.

    Emotions Behind the Chaos - Sharon Lopez

    Brilliant light

    Watching the skies for the stars

    They don't seem as bright as the once did

    The sparkle that once held my gaze is fading fast

    And I find myself yearning for their brilliant light

    Perhaps they were always like this

    Was I deceived by their glorious performance?

    Did I build them up with the innocence of youth?

    Or has their luster tarnished as the years have passed

    Did I dream their brilliance into reality?

    Maybe I was misguided by my own desires

    However, they came to be they were there

    This truth I realize to be genuine

    Oh, stars come illuminate the night

    Bring back what I treasure

    Shine through the heavens once more

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Despair
    These feelings are no stranger to me
    Anguish invites anger and they escort in emptiness
    I have suffered more than I care to admit
    My once passionate heart has become impenetrable
    I am told I am responsible for allowing this
    So, I guess once again the fault is mine
    Now no one will get that close again
    I will feel no joy happiness or love
    The sad truth should make me cry
