About the Book
Single women! Are you really ready for marriage? I thought I was; until, I submitted my will to God for His purpose in my life. As single women of God, we have been tainted through the years by societal misconceptions about the institution of marriage. The trials and tribulations of life have altered our perception of ourselves. Our centers of influences have warped our perspective of the man God desires for us as a husband. God has purpose for each and every one of us. If we are willing and obedient, we can obtain His blessing. Preparation for being ready for marriage can be labor intensive or it can be an inheritance. Your path of your journey is in your hands as to when you will labor or inherit the blessings of God. This book is my living testimony of the preparation I went through in order to be able to receive the promise of my Father. In your makeover, God will ensure that you are whole and complete as a woman before you are ready to be given to one of His sons.

I was honored and privileged that Tunya Armstead asked me to read her story and share my thoughts about Are You Ready for His Glory?
As an unmarried woman, I was able to relate to some of her journey of singleness and relive similar experiences. Her book uncovers the relational traps of the unmarried who seek for love and marriage without first loving themselves and receiving God’s intervention and assistance.
While reading like experiences, hurtful and painful emotions were resurrected that caused tears to my eyes. I found myself interacting with the occurrences and characters of the book. I yelled at the men who treated Tunya dishonestly. I applauded her when she became courageous and strong, and stood her ground; no longer allowing herself to be used and abused and caught up in the webs of deception. I sighed when she realized her need for God and allowed Him to re-fashion, purify, and prepare her as He had purposed and intended from the beginning. I celebrated the victorious and virtuous woman she has become, and for the desired husband who is on his way to soon find her.
I was captivated by the description Tunya portrayed of how a person who is single can view marriage in a dream-like and fairytale fashion; and thus, be set up for failure. Her story forces me to a present and truthful reality of what singleness, marriage and divorce are about. She presents options of how to operate in any situation or status you are in, and reminds us that our choices have consequences. She reiterates the importance of obedience to God, and submission to His plan and will.
Enjoy reading this informative and enlightening book which offers the pitfalls to avoid when establishing a relationship, reveals a proper way to true love, and provides encouragement and hope to fulfill the dream of achieving a Godly, happy and lasting marriage.

Current media speculation suggests that 50% of marriages in America will end in divorce. Although there is little evidence to substantiate these claims, the Americans for Divorce Reform estimates (predicts) that between 40 and 50 percent of marriages will end in divorce if current trends continue. Trends, what trends? Society has certainly instituted a particular stigma concerning every aspect of marriage, from age to socio-economic status. I am sure you are reading the aforementioned statements in bewilderment wondering what steps can be taken to prevent this escalating trend. If you are reading this text and you are currently unmarried, divorced, or in a relationship, you may be wondering what preventative measures can you take to prevent a demise in your relationship. Through trial and error, I have come to understand that marriage is certainly about ensuring that you are emotionally whole, complete, and free of excess baggage. You have to know exactly who you are and understand to whom you belong… God. We often enter into relationships hoping that another individual completes us. Why would we want a mere mortal human to do a job that our almighty God is willing, able, and eager to do?
Tunya Armstead has exposed certain chapters of her book of life in order to prevent others from disastrous, unstable, and unfulfilling relationships. Tunya provides tools on how to prepare you for marriage by first beginning with yourself. She shares intimate details of her eight year journey of preparation while eagerly anticipating the mate that God has created solely for her. Tunya candidly shares the obstacles she has faced by imposing her own self will into her relationships and the triumph of being obedient to God.
Whatever you do, please do not take this book lightly as it will be a
