Above all others, I would like to thank God for the guidance he has given me, to bring this mission to a conclusion. Also, I would like to thank God for all the times he has challenged me to trust him to deliver. Next, I would like to thank God for constructive parents. In addition, I would like to thank my parents for the introduction of an inspirer, which never failed to motivate. For the most part, I would like to thank both of my parents. Although, my mother is awaiting the first resurrection, her memories will forever live in my heart. The love and support she extended to her family will never be forgotten. Yet, it is human nature to feel her absence. Nonetheless, it is imperative that we keep in mind; our happiness was her heart’s desire. Furthermore, I would like to take this time to thank my immediate family, siblings, and extended family. I would like to extend a special thanks to my first born Donna Marie for use of her time and typing skills. Finally, I would like to thank all the people that supported me thus far. It has been a pleasure venturing throughout the community, spreading the love of Jesus. By all means, I will always keep a memory of such special, significant times close to my heart. Indeed, I pray that you find this project enlightening, edifying, and educating. Once again, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. Indeed, it is God’s desire that we live an acceptable life to make it into his kingdom. Likewise, it is my wish that I meet you there. So as the days grow closer to the second coming of Jesus, I implore all of God’s children to draw closer to him. Until that day, I will reside with you. Nevertheless, my heart and soul will always be anticipating God’s second coming. Let’s be prepared to be reunited in our father’s kingdom. May God bless and keep you all as you join with me, to give him the highest praise; Glory Hallelujah! What an awesome God we serve.

HE TOUCHED ME A LONG TIME AGO!

I stand before you today, to give honor to my best friend. Jesus is a man that will stand by you though thick and thin. I stand before you today, for I have a testimony to give. Not because I am important, but because my savior lives. I have known him for a long time; he is acquainted with me. He’s the one that loosen my shackles and set me free. Oh! He’s no stranger to me, or the people that live in my home. He supports me when I am right, and chastise me when I am wrong. I know what I am talking about. He’s made me very wise. Nothing slips upon me; he sends me visions. So I need not be surprise.

He’s been a dear friend of mine since the days of old. Oh! How I love Jesus; he is worth more than gold. My parents introduce me to him, when I was a young girl. They told me, I would need him as I grew older in this old world. I got a chance to see what his powers would do. I was lying there on my death bed, when Jesus said come on! I have a mission for you. Doctor saw no hope; they had done all that medicine could do. But silently mom and dad continue in prayer, yet doctors had no clue. They knew no earthly doctor could raise me from that bed. So they challenged the Lord’s promise; he did exactly what he said.

Everybody need there own relationship with God. So they can see what he can do.

I just need one witness want he lift you up, if you ask him to?

I am here to tell you for I want the world to know.

He is a God of miracles; for he touched me a long time ago.

MY PRAYER!

Dear Jesus, I bow before your throne.

I ask you to keep me from all danger as well as wrong.

You keep me dear Jesus when I’m not doing right.

You keep me dear Jesus both day and night

You keep me dear Jesus, I bow to pray.

You guide and direct me to go the right way.

You keep me dear Jesus, I long to say.

You help me dear Jesus when I start to go astray.

Keep me dear Jesus and please! Don’t set me free!

Keep me dear Jesus until your face I see.

MY PRAYER

Prayer is the key to the kingdom.

Faith opens and unlocks the door.

People do not care about faith.

People do not pray anymore.

They are involved with what the world has to give.

And what the people in the world may say.

They are too busy worrying about what they are going to do tomorrow.

Things they could not fit in today.

But if we truly knew God we would trust his holy word.

I believe that every time we pray. At least it would be heard.

A SELFISH PRAYER

Lord you bless my home on the big red hill. Lord you bless my pockets when I pay my bills. Lord you bless my children one and all. You answer them Jesus, when you hear them call. Lord you bless my car pretty and white. You protect it Jesus both day and night. Lord you bless my sisters and my brothers. If you have some extra time, you may bless the others. Lord you bless my boy and my girl.

You keep them safe from this old wicked world.

Lord you bless my Job and the money it pay.

You keep it safe from day to day.

Lord you bless my bank book; it is as good as gold.

Lord you bless me Jesus that I live to get old.

Lord you bless my mom, and my dad.

Bless my soul, when I feel bad.

Lord one more thing I ask you to do.

You have blessed all of the family. Will you bless me too?

JESUS AN EXAMPLE FOR ME!

Jesus prayed both night and day.

When things went smooth he prayed anyway.

He did not care who saw him kneel.

He raised the dead and the sick he heal.

Sometimes people get upset about what their friends have to say.

They loose their desire to even look that way.

I am a witness; friends in life will come and go.

They will disappear on you, when your funds are low.

Friends are not the ones that will be giving me my crown.

It is better for me to be on top of heaven, than in hell looking down.

I want to see Jesus for myself. There is no one I trust that can answer the roll for me.

I want to go to heaven and live throughout eternity.

Nonetheless, I can’t go to heaven doing things that are wrong.

I am going to heaven; even if, I have to go alone.

REST FOR A WHILE!

Lord! I pray not for tomorrow; I maybe in my grave.

I pray not for the things of this world, only that I be saved.

I pray not for the riches, and all those fancy things.

I only pray that one day. I will earn me some wings.

Lord1 I pray not to be perfect in every thing I do.

I pray that one day; I will live in heaven with the angels and you.

I pray not for a fancy car, or a fancy home.

I only pray that one day. I will live upon your throne.

Lord! I pray not to be brave, neither I to be bold.

I pray that one day. I will walk those streets of gold.

I pray not that my path be always perfect and straight.

I only pray that one day. I will walk through your pearly gates.

Lord! I pray not that I pass every test that is giving.

I only pray that I make it up there, where you and my fathers living.

I pray that you stay with me, until the last mile.

I pray that you see fit to let me rest awhile.

It’s been so long since we’ve been together. So long Lord it seems like if forever. The last time I saw you. It was at the tree. The last time, I heard your voice. It was at Calvary. It’s been so long Lord; Time has just flown by. I can’t understand it no matter how I try. So long my Lord, I just have to say. So glad you stopped by and looked my way.

It’s been so long dear God you know.

But, I have to stop and thank you as I run to and fro.

So long Lord that I have been burden down.

It’s been so long Lord since I invested in my crown.

It’s been so long Lord since I have traveled your way.

So Long Lord that I have gone astray.

It’s been so long Lord since I made this call.
