    About the Author

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to all my precious partners and friends that supported the Robin Healing Ministries over the years with their prayers, tithes, offerings, and faith-seed to help me preach the gospel to a lost and hurting world and to bring the lost to the cross.

Moreover, this book is dedicated to all those who are supporting the kingdom of God with their prayers, tithes, offering, and faith-seed. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20, "‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen."

This book is especially dedicated to God, who is truly the head of my life and who has given me the inspiration and strength to write this book. Father, I want to thank you for fulfilling every promise and prophesy in my life. Most importantly, thank you for your blessings and the anointing. I will forever be grateful to you and serve you all the days of my life.

    Foreword

In his book, Power to Prosper, Robin teaches that God has always intended for his people to prosper. Too often, we as believers fall short of the understanding that God created the seed to benefit his people. Power to Prosper is an easy-to-understand guideline to God’s plan of prosperity and serves as a great teaching tool for the entire body of Christ.

    Acknowledgments

With a grateful heart, I would like to say a special thanks to some very important people in my life who have helped me tremendously. They have contributed to my inspiration and knowledge and have helped to create this book.

To my beautiful wife, Veronica, who has stood by my side and supported me for the past seventeen years: Veronica has been my prayer warrior, my best friend, and—most important—my faithful partner who is always there to encourage me to go on and finish whatever I have started. Veronica is a great woman of God, and I love her with my very being. Veronica, it’s a miracle how we first met, and it will continue to be a miracle as God keeps us together and we continue to work and build for his kingdom. I love you and thank you for standing by my side and for your total dedication and help during this project.

To my three handsome and blessed children—Justin, Josiah, and Jaden—who have given me time to write this book and have understood when I needed some quiet time alone: I would especially like to dedicate this book to the three of you. Always remember that you three are my joy and blessings. Your mom and I love you, and we thank God for you.

To all the staff of Robin Healing Ministries and the Emmanuel Full Gospel Assemblies: Thank you for your hard work and continuous support. I would like to say special thanks to Ms. Pria Sookram, who helped feverishly in this project. I appreciate you so much and pray God’s richest blessing on your life. Special thanks to the Prophetic Prayer Warriors of EFGA for all your prayers, love, and support.

Special thanks to my good friends and co-laborers in Christ, Pastor Jamie Tuttle and Pastor Judy Jacobs. I appreciate you and your family so much; your ministry is a great blessing to us. Thanks for giving your love and prayers to my family, my ministry, and me. We love you!

To WestBow Press and the entire production team, thank you very much for your hard work in publishing this book. Blessings!

And most important, I would like to thank the Lord, my God and personal Savior Jesus Christ, who has been my shield, banner, and miracle-worker.

    Introduction

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

    —Joshua 1:8

From cover to cover, God’s Word reveals his plan to prosper and bless his people. His main purpose from the very beginning of time was to bless and prosper his people, as long as they were aligned with his Word. This book is designed to enlighten believers and nonbelievers about God’s purpose for their lives and the ways they can receive and experience prosperity. It will help you realize that some of the highest blessings are fenced with the greatest difficulties, that no earthly inheritance will ever exist without some disadvantage.

The same pattern holds true for the spiritual patterns of our lives. Our spiritual inheritance comes through endurance, even when there is pressure to give up on sowing the good seeds of our faith, finances, or other resources that we’ve been given. This pressure brings difficulties. Sometimes they come as hindrances from inside ourselves: laziness, fear, and carnality. Sometimes the temptations of the outside world hinder our progress and blessings. These temptations come from what we feed into our minds: bad examples or distracting pleasures that utilize our resources. Because of them, we reject the orders of God’s Word and fail to sow and receive.

But you still have an opportunity to start over. To start over, you need to evaluate yourself spiritually and physically and find answers to these questions: What was it in this past year that hindered you from your blessing? What was it that stopped you from gaining the things of God that you so desired?

The people in the Old Testament were a lot like us—great starters; but then something would happen along the way to muddle their progress. Every year on the Day of Atonement, the blowing of the ram’s horn signaled a release from debt and a freeing of slaves. But at the end of every forty-ninth year, something special was added to the Jubilee. Before I explain, let me give you some background information.

In those days, if an Israelite got so far in debt that he could not pay his creditors, he might sell his land that his ancestors had passed on to him. If he still could not pay his debts, he could be forced to sell himself and his family into slavery to pay off the debts. There were no bankruptcy laws; if you could not pay, you lost your property and your freedom. But every half-century, in the year of the Jubilee, all the land reverted back to the original owners. If they were not alive, it was given to their families. Additionally, all the families who had been sold into slavery would be freed.

This is what I want you to know by the time you finish reading this book: It’s time to quit thinking about last year, the last decade, midlife crises, job problems, debt, and every other worry that comes with life. God has put something within you that he desires to use. You have to accept the oceans of God’s mercy and continue on toward heaven, believing what God has promised you.

The Bible declares in Joshua 1:8 that the Word of God holds the secrets to living in prosperity. I have observed that many people have an inadequate perception of what prosperity is. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, prosperity is defined as the condition of being successful or thriving; especially: economic well-being. Wealth and the accumulation of wealth define prosperity according to the world’s definition, but this is a partial, incomplete, and confined definition according to Word of God. As you explore this book, you will comprehend all of the elements that define prosperity through the Word of God.

Many books have been written that expound primarily on financial blessing, but this book takes you on a journey to experience not only financial prosperity but also emotional, social, and spiritual prosperity. I was compelled to write this book simply because modern society has a limited view of prosperity.

The goal of Power to Prosper is to expound on the ways that will allow you to experience prosperity. The power to prosper lies within you through Jesus Christ and the Word of God. The Word of God teaches us how to take dominion and have prosperity. My deepest intention is that those who read this book will discover the vital role they play in their own success. I have expressed with great clarity the secrets of how to experience great prosperity in your life. Prosperity is not the accumulation of wealth; it is a lifestyle that is ordered by God himself.

    Chapter One:

    Power of a Seed

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,

winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.

    Genesis 8:22

A seed is the activator that initiates the manifestation of a miracle. In everything that occurs in the natural and supernatural realm, there must be an initiation. A seed holds paramount powers that can birth out your miracle. The Bible explicitly expounds with great intensity upon the powers of a seed. Before the world began, the cosmos was without form; so God planted words into the atmosphere, and the universe was manifested. God used his words as a seed to initiate the creation of the universe. A single seed has the potential, when germinated, to cause immense multiplication. For instance, a single acorn has the potential to produce a monstrous oak tree.

In the natural world, only a seed can bring about a season of harvest. Why not sow a seed of faith, finance, time, or anything that means a lot to you today and initiate a bountiful harvest in your finances, emotions, family, relationships, and health? When you put your faith in God’s hands like a seed to be planted, you are giving him something to work with, and he will send the miracle you need. No matter how small your faith seems to be, it will meet needs and solve problems that appear to be as impossible to move as mountains. This is because each act of faith is a seed planted, and it will be multiplied many times.

Give God something to work with. No matter how little you think you have, sow it in joy and faith, knowing in your heart that you are sowing seeds so that you may reap miracles. Then, start expecting all kinds of miracles! Remember, God always sends the right answer at the right time and in the right way. His timing and methods are always exactly right for our lives. Your harvest is only a seed away! The Bible depicts God as a believer in the principle of the seed. God planted his only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die, so that those who believe and accept him may receive salvation. God planted his single and best seed so that he could receive a harvest of sons and daughters.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). This portion of the Bible gives great corroboration that the purpose of a seed is for multiplication.

For instance, you have a portion of empty land and a single apple seed in your hand. Unless you plant that one apple seed into the empty portion of land, you will not be able to reap a harvest of apples. Moreover, within every apple produced from that single seed exist multiple seeds, which can also be planted to produce an even greater harvest. The principle of a seed’s power will never cease, because those who plant will always receive a harvest. But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6).

Further, there must be a divine purpose behind every seed. The purpose of the apple seed was to bring forth a harvest of apples. The purpose of God planting words into the atmosphere was to create the universe. The purpose of God planting his Son was to reap a harvest of souls. When you sow a seed, you must give it a divine purpose. For example, you may sow a monetary seed for the purpose of a healing miracle. That monetary seed will initiate the manifestation of a physical healing, because that was the divine purpose it was given. A seed produces and multiplies the divine assignment it was given. An apple seed’s assignment is to bring forth a harvest of apples, not pineapples or grapes. Therefore, you must give your seed a divine assignment.

It is critical that you understand that there are good seeds and bad seeds. Bad seeds multiply just as good seeds do. Whether good or bad, seeds that are planted bring a bountiful harvest. Therefore, you must be careful of the types of seeds you plant. Many people sow seeds unknowingly, and after reading this chapter, you will begin to examine what types of seeds you may have sown.

Many people have a false perception that spiritual seeds are monetary. Monetary seeds are not the only type of seed—although monetary seeds can bring forth great financial blessings and miracles in your life. The following chart shows examples of other seeds.

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap
