About this ebook

By reading this book, you will find out that Satan is a deceiving spirit who hates God and the children of God. Satans objective is to lead you to unbelief and sin against God. Consider this: Satan is out to mar the human race.

He deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil even when God informed her not to eat of it. Satan stood up against Israel and provoked King David to number Israel. Joshua was standing before the angel of the Lord and Satan was standing on the right hand to resist him. Satan entered Judas for him to betray the Lord Jesus.

Satan wants nothing to do with righteousness, and this is transparent. Satan wants us to go against God and betray one another. He does not want the lost to be saved. Satan will enable you to become remiss of every word of God, making them untrue and unnecessary. God wants to bless us in our everyday life, but Satan will block these blessings.

Satan is after our children, uncles, aunts, grandparents, parents, and you. We must continue to wear the whole armor of God to defeat him. For without the whole armor of God, Satan will be victorious.

Scrutinize Satan.

Minister Anthony

I am an associate minister of the Twenty-Third Avenue Church of Christ in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Father God has blessed me to write this book and I thank him. I am also an artist (singer, songwriter, producer, and musician). I am the third oldest child of ten (Savannah, Jaqutia, Mr. Dexter, Theresa, Angela, Clint, John T. Jr., Kelly, and Amber). I would like to thank my mom, Ella Viola Hubanks, and my pops, John T. Hubanks. Also, I would like to thank Evangelist Thomas Hartaway Jr. and Sister Hartaway (Little Rock, Arkansaw), Evangelist Charles Gates, and Sister Gates (Kenosha, Wisconsin). I want to give honor to the late Evangelist John H. Wright Sr. for instilling in me the significance of continuing to be conscientious and to never relinquish what Father God has in store for me. Truly, he was an illustrious and loving father and friend to many people. (Thank you, Preacher.) Thanks to Sister Wright (the wife of the late great J. H. Wright Sr.) for sharing your husband with the congregation. Thanks to all the ministers, deacons, sisters, and members of the Twenty-Third Avenue Church of Christ. I dedicate this book to my son, Jamael Jahi Coley.

CHAPTER 3 Where did Satan come from?

CHAPTER 4 What is Satan’s purpose?

    INTRODUCTION

The Holy Bible came from God (Psalms 68:11). God used about forty men in writing the bible.

All of them were guided by a single mind—the mind of God. These writers simply wrote down what God had told them. Moses wrote the five books of the Old Testament (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy).

Matthew recorded what Jesus had done in his presence.

All the writers were specially guided by the Spirit of God

(2 Peter 1:20, 21-Acts 13:2-John 16:13) so that they wrote just what God wanted them to write.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament written in Greek. OT (39 books) NT (27 books).

The Old Testament is divided into four main sections (Law, History, Poetry and Prophecy).

The New Testament is divided into four main sections (The Gospels, History, Epistles and Prophecy).

But it has no effect in our lives unless it actually comes to us:unless we receive it and understand it and obey it.

Through the Bible, God tells us things that we could never learn in any other way.

God is the supreme authority because He’s greater than our thoughts and God knows all things (1 John 3:20-Genesis 18:14).

The Bible carries authority because it is God’s Word.

It is His way of making His will known to us. A carpenter should know his tool chest. He/She must know a saw from a hammer, know the purpose of each and how to use each.

Also, he/she should know where in the chest to find the tool he/she needs for any particular job.

The Bible is the Christians tool chest. God teaches us to be skillful with His word.

In Christian teaching and winning people to Christ, no human reasoning can be homogeneous to the scriptures themselves.

I want to give illustrious honor to my heavenly Father. Truly, He has lead me to teach His truth. Thank You Father God for sending Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (the Word).

Without You Father, I am nothing. I love You Father God.

And we have known and believe the love that God have to us, God is love; and he that dwelling in love dwelling in God and God in him (1 John 4:16)

    CHAPTER 1

    Who is Satan?

In the book of Genesis 3:1, the Holy Ghost is informing us through the word of God that the serpent was more subtle (crafty) than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

Before I begin to teach on Who is Satan, where did Satan come from and what is Satan’s purpose?

I want to let you know that Satan has copious names and titles.

    Just to name a few.

He is called Satan (1 Chronicles 21:1, Job 1:6, 2:1,

    Zechariah 3:1, Psalms 109:6,

    Matthew 16:23, Luke 22:31, 10:18,

    Acts 5:32 Corinthians 11:14, Revelation 2:24, 20:7).

He is called the Devil (Matthew 4:1, 25:41,

    Luke 4:2, John 8:44,

    Ephesians 4:27, 6:11, 2 Timothy 2:26,

    James 4:7, Jude 9, Revelation 2:10).

He is called the father of lies (John 8:44), the prince of this world (John 14:30), the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians2:2).

The god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

The adversary (1 Peter 5:8), that wicked (2 Thessalonians 2:8), the enemy (Matthew 13:39), the antichrist (1 John 4:3), the serpent (Genesis 3:1), Beelzebub (Matthew 10:25).

We need to see Satan for who he is and take shelter in Christ.

The Holy Ghost informs Christians to cast all your cares upon Him

(God) for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

Ye that love the Lord hate evil:he delivering them out of the hands of the wicked (Psalms 97:10).

Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestience (Psalms 91:3).

Let me commence by saying. I charge Satan.

I charge Satan for being the greatest liar on this earth. I charge Satan for being the greatest murderer on this earth. I charge Satan for being the greatest kidnapper on this earth.

I charge Satan for being the greatest masquerader on this earth. Everywhere Satan has gone, he has caused pain. Everywhere Satan has traveled, he has cause trouble.

Everywhere Satan has gone, he has inflicted misery.

There is no place on this earth where Satan has promoted peace and harmony. Satan is not of God. There is no love within him. Satan is not in solidarity with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Satan is impertinent, flagrant, erroneous, deluding, noxious and perilous.

We can not deny this fact.

Sisters, you all can not deny the charges. Brothers, we can not deny the charges. Satan pollutes the minds of Christians when we allow him to control our destiny.

Satan has no power to give us eternal life. Satan is not our savior. Satan is our enemy.

In the beginning God created the heavens
