Lauren S. Barr

Lauren S. Barr, a survivor of childhood abuse, grew up in suburban Westfield, New Jersey. She has held jobs as a pharmacy technician, political campaign operative, marketing director, paralegal and spent seven years as an emergency medical technician. She served as the assignment editor of The Westfield Leader and The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Times, and continues to write for them. Lauren holds an Associates in Science from Union County College and a Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Edison State College. She still lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
