    FOREWARD

This book is an incisive portrayal of the power of the mind. Pastor Kenn Mark presents a sound and concise Biblical exposition on how the mind can be utilized for the realization of God’s plans and purposes for the Christian. Great enemies of the mind and ways of overcoming them are elucidated in a very practical way that enhances the process of application of the truths highlighted in this book.

The Bible says, For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. (Prov. 23:7, NJKV} Pastor Kenn Mark challenges the reader to think and meditate upon God’s word, as this will definitely produce successful living that will glorify God.

He goes ahead to give practical steps on how to manage the mind through:

    Selective exposure

    Selective perception

    Selective retention

In other words, we have the responsibility to choose what we are exposed to, how we think and finally what we accept and store in the mind. The choice is ours not only to think but to think right and think big. Every Christian willing to fulfill his/her destiny should read this book over and over again. It is well written and divine wisdom and life transforming nuggets exudes from pages one to the end.

I thank God for Pastor Kenn Mark.

    INTRODUCTION

The best manager in the whole world is the one who knows how to manage his mind. He’s not the manager of the World Bank, but the manager of the Mind Bank

The mind is a bank installed by God inside the human skull where wealth of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and power can be drawn for the advancement of mankind. It is not just for pleasure but a treasure in which if well managed, will yield dividend greater than any bank on earth can ever do. Great men are not those with great wealth, but men with great minds, minds endowed with great visions and strengthened by unbridled passion for achieving their goals and targets in life.

The fundamental truth unveiled in this book is that the mind shapes the man; if your mind prospers, your life prospers. It also teaches us that the secret of healthy and wealthy living is in the management of the mind, because when your mind prospers, your body prospers as well. People often say that two heads are better than one, but they forget that the performance of the head depends on the development of the mindset. Two empty heads can never beat one sound mind. If your mind is sound, your head is sound also and if your head is sound, you are bound to make good decisions and plans, set good goals and targets, make sound judgments and execute them. With these, success in life becomes inevitable.

I strongly believe that what everybody who truly desires a change in life needs in order to be like other achievers is not a change of world, but a change of mind. The more developed nations are not created by God to be superior as some have erroneously believed and propagated, rather, they are advanced because they gave themselves to the development of their mindset which gave birth to physical and structural development.

As a result of the advanced technological innovation experienced in the world today, the use of handsets has become ubiquitous. We now have assorted types of cell phones to ease the problem of telecommunication. The human mind is like a handset or computer configured and programmed with complex elements by divine power to think, reason, feel, perceive and will. This implies that it is an abuse of
