Hope, the Big Headed Cat: Not Just Another Animal Story
()
About this ebook
The book focuses on the four-month tenure of Hope, a completely deaf Persian cat with heart and kidney disease. Her struggle to survive these life-threatening illnesses after being rescued from an animal shelter is offset by evidence of spirituality from the cat. An alarm and lap cat, even though she was chronically ill, Hope always returned love.
Quentin Newhouse Jr. PhD
Quentin Newhouse Jr. experienced a spiritual miracle through the life of his cat, Hope. She showed courage and faith in the face of numerous physical handicaps. Although deaf, with heart and kidney problems, Hope ministered to him through her unselfishness and devotion. Quentin had previously always loved dogs and had never had a cat. He also never realized that God can minister health to anyone through anything, even a sick cat. Hope had spirit and always showed love.

APPENDICES
First and foremost, I give God the glory for providing me with the blessing of taking this cat into my home, my heart, and my eternal memory. God is inspiring me to publish this story after carrying it for more than eleven years. All the praise goes to Him.
This book is also dedicated to Hope, my remarkable cat. I look forward to hearing her distinctive meow meow
when I get to heaven. I still miss her and cry whenever I tell her story. There have been several persons who also cried when I read Hope’s story to them. These responses serve as a testament to how God continues to touch lives through Hope’s life and legacy.
I also dedicate this book to my parents, Quentin Sr. and Berlene, (both deceased), my wife, Sirirat, and my daughter, Alyse Elizabeth Belinda. I love them with all my heart, and they are my soul’s inspiration. I also dedicate this book to my good friend of more than fourteen years, Charmaine T. Waldon. She had the privilege of visiting Hope and experiencing many of the miracle behaviors noted in this book.
PREFACE
This is not another cat story but a legacy of love for an animal that suffered with heart problems, was completely deaf, and died from kidney problems. Yet, and still, this cat touched not only my heart in the four months she was in my home but countless others. From the time she
