About this ebook

In modern day France, a Cambridge theologian Jacob Jenkins is secretly imprisoned in a mental institution. Not because he is mad, but because he knows the biblical Merchant's secrets, the same Merchants mentioned and warned about in the Book of Revelation, rather than killing Mr. Jenkins the Merchant's are drawing out of him the decoded information he has uncovered in the Book of Revelation, that foretells the Merchants' manipulation in the biblical End Times and Armageddon event, which help bring about the fabled 2nd coming and rise of the Beast 666.

But the Merchant's plans are found out by a secret Christian order and one of their agents, Robert J. Monk is charged to extract Mr. Jenkins and bring him back to England, where he can tell the world of the Merchants evil plot and how they are planning their evil plot with the mighty Dragon and the fabled Beast, all of these evil elements are shown to he controlling a state within a state and are using their combined Communist and old Soviet spy networks that were nurtured and developed within the west to collapse their combined enemy the West itself.

With the secret orders' history of protecting Christian pilgrims throughout time and with their blood spilt on many conflicts, Robert J. Monk's mission to bring Mr. Jenkins back to England should on the face of it be a easy one, with all the orders modern and ancient technology and weaponry at Monk's disposal, but it quickly turns into a struggle between good and evil has the Merchant's evil empire is unleashed upon them.

Stephen Lambourne weaves together a modern day spy story with ancient medieval Christian history, while encompassed simply code breaking formulas allowing biblical scripture to be cracked open like an oyster, allowing the stories main characters to explain to the reader a compiling pictures of present day events happening in today's world with those written down in the Book of Revelation just under 2000 years ago. The readers eyes will be opened to why events you had through was not linked are indeed planned and well under way. Worst of all they are being planned and organized by the West's old enemies and the fabled Beast.

Thou Kingdom Come Robert J Monk Is God's Secret Agent - Stephen John Lambourne

    Chapter One

    Deadly skies

    WYOMING, USA

33 t housand feet above Yellowstone National Park Wyoming, a Gulfstream 550 jet plane is flying through darkened clouds; behind the plane and in the distance a thunderstorm is brewing, a sudden burst of lighting flashes across the sky confirms that a storm is indeed ahead.

Inside the Gulfstream’s cockpit the pilot and co-pilot are both dead. Both crewmembers have their emergency air masks on, meanwhile the plane continues to fly while on autopilot.

Meanwhile in the passengers’ cabin, air supply face masks also hang above empty passenger seats, while 6 passengers, all businessmen, also look to be dead. Some of the dead passengers lay seated with their air masks still covering their faces, while other passengers have no masks covering their face—one of them even has his Mp3 player still playing away into his ears, the cord dangling into the central aisle.

Then the sound of someone gasping for air is heard coming from the floor. It’s then that Ed Sheppard, a young business man in his early 40s, is seen gasping for air as he tries desperately to suck in the last of the air from the floor. Behind Mr Sheppard, another man called Robert Monk can be seen. Monk is struggling along the aisle of the plane and is found dressed in an air steward’s uniform. Monk finally crawls toward Ed Sheppard. Monk is a white man, well-built man in his late 20s. He is also gasping for air, as he reaches Ed Sheppard.

Monk grabs Ed Sheppard’s head. Struggling himself for air Monk asks Ed Sheppard,

    Where’s the dossier, Christian?

Ed Sheppard is not with it and is fast falling into unconsciousness and soon will be dead. Monk pushes Ed Sheppard but this time more firmly, forcing Ed Sheppard’s head around to look directly face to face with Monk.

CHRISTIAN… CHRISTIAN, where is the dossier?

Ed Sheppard eyes open slightly, he then tries to speak.

Dossier… How do you know of the dossier?

Monk presses him harder. Ed, where is it?

Slowly Ed Sheppard turns his head to his passenger seat, and points to the briefcase that’s lying on the passenger seat which is just next to him. Struggling, he says:

    It’s there in the case.

Monk struggles over and grabs at the briefcase and opens it up, pulling out papers and then he finds what he is after, the dossier which is in a clear plastic folder.

Are these the papers? Monk asks.

Ed Sheppard is fading fast, but he manages to answer.

Yes. He grabs Monks arm and struggling he says,

Make sure they get to the right people?

    I will.

Ed starts to struggle but Monk tries to keep him from going under and says firmly.

Stay with me Ed, stay with me.

Monk grabs Ed Sheppard’s head firmly and putting his mouth to Ed’s mouth, Monk tries to blows some air into Ed Sheppard’s lungs, but it’s no good. Ed dies in Monk’s arms.

No… Ed’s head falls back. Oh man.

Monk quickly accepts that Ed is dead and lays his head softly down onto the floor. Monk then closes Ed Sheppard’s eyes, and cuts a cross into Edward’s forehead with his thumb nail, leaving a faint cross on Ed’s forehead. Monks says caringly,

    God bless you, Christian.

Gasping for air, Monk continues crawling down the aisle towards the cockpit, on the way he encounters another dead male body on the floor. Monk crawls over the dead man’s body and makes his way into the pilot’s cabin.

Now inside the cockpit, Monk finds both the co-pilot and pilot are dead, Monk notices that on the plane’s control panel that the decompression switch has been trigged and is flashing away, firmly he says.

You fools play with the devil and he will play with your lives. Monk is nearly out of air.

In Monk’s head suddenly a soft voice is heard.

Quickly cupboard left air… Quickly cupboard left air.

Monk turns around and sees some small cupboards in the corner of the cabin. He manages to make it over to the cupboards, which read:

    EMERGENCY AIR SUPPLY

Grabbing hold of the Emergency Air Supply cupboard door handle Monk pulls on it, but finds that the door is locked tight. Monk pulls at the door again but it remains stubbornly shut. He slides on his back and kicks in the door with an almighty kick. As he kicks out with his legs, the door collapses and finally opens up.

Once opened the emergency air supply is exposed, Monk grabs at the clear plastic tubes coming from the air containers, only to find that the lines have been cut. Angrily Monk says,

They’ve set everyone one on this plane up.

Monk connects the plastic tubes and turns the tap on manually, releasing air back into the emergency air supply—too late for everyone on the plane. Monk breathes the air straight from one end of the tubes that’s still cut and dangling, taking a big, deep breath. He takes a moment to regain his composure, taking shorter and shorter breaths.

Pulling out the Dossier, Monk gives them a quick look over, then says to himself,

What’s in these, that can be worth all these lives?

Monk takes another long breath from the end of the tube.

Meanwhile outside the Gulfstream 550, which still is continuing to fly on auto pilot, is heading towards the dark stormy clouds ahead.

In Monk’s head the soft voice is heard again warning him.

Watch out, watch out. Monk is confused. "Why… all

I’ve got to do is land the fucking plane?"

In the far distance ahead a thunderstorm is now in full swing, a lighting strike flashes across the sky, suddenly through the darkening clouds bursts a USAF F-22 Raptor, which is heading on a direct path towards the Gulfstream 550.

Back in the cockpit of the Gulfstream, Monk pulls out of his pocket a strange looking pistol and puts it down on the floor, looking at the pistol the barrel has a cross shape at the end of the barrel.

Outside the Raptor is already coming up by the side of the Gulfstream. Seated in the pilots seat the Raptor’s pilot is found looking at his instruments panel, and can clearly see on the infrared scanner the inside of the plane, and he can also clearly see the dead people on the Gulfstream.

The pilot calls back to his base.

Sir it seems that everyone is dead?

Then he suddenly sees movement on the infrared screen.

No forget that sir I’ve got movement in the cockpit.

On the Raptor’s infrared scanner Monk clearly be seen moving around in the cockpit, Monk’s body heat can clearly be seen in infrared and shows Monk moving around freely back into the passengers cabin, then back again he goes back into the cockpit.

Meanwhile back in the Gulfstream, Monk pulls out of his pockets an assortment of strange looking cross shaped bullets and places them onto the cabin floor.

At a military air base a lone high ranking commanding officer is seated in a controls room.

What do you mean still alive?

Sir I don’t know and I don’t know how but there’s someone definitely still alive. The raptor pilot informs his superior.

Listen you make sure there are no survivors… You hear me? The Commanding officer continues. Take any measures you need to make it so. He orders the pilot.

    Yes sir I will.

The Raptor shapely pulls away from the Gulfstream, so he can get a better position for an attack.

In Monks head the soft voice is heard again warning Monk.

    Jump now, Jump now.

Monk suddenly catches sight of the Raptor plane through the pilot’s window as it passes by the Gulfstream.

Oh shit… Thank you god I really needed this test right now.

Monk looks deeper into the emergency cupboard and finds what he wants.

    Thank fuck.

He pulls out of the cupboard an emergency parachute, and he quickly puts it on over his shoulders, once on, he stuffs the documents into his jacket, and zips it tightly up.

Monk starts to loads up some of the cross shaped bullets into the hand gun.

Outside the Raptor shapely pulls behind the Gulfstream to position’s itself for an attack, inside the Raptor’s cockpit the pilot is seen flipping up the safety catch off the front cannons and puts his finger onto the red fire button.

Meanwhile back inside the Gulfstream, Monk has finished loading up the hand gun, when suddenly a volley of shot’s from the Raptors front cannon’s start hitting the Gulfstream.

Bullets hit some of the dead passengers, but just miss Monk as they fire past him.

    Fucking hell.

With the volley of shots ended Monk has time to think but only for a few second before he jumps up to the pilot’s controls and adjust the planes controls to force the plane to shapely dive Monk pulls himself out of the cabin and struggles down the central aisle as he walks by the dead man how ear phone leads are dangling into the aisle Monk tugs it out of the jack socket and the Music track: Days are Forgotten by Kasabian blasts out from the units’ small speaker.

Inside the Raptor the pilot is happy his got it with only one volley.

Got it. He says proudly to himself. Man that went down easy.

The Raptor’s pilot is surprised but nevertheless follows the Gulfstream plane down as it heads towards the ground.

Let’s make sure this baby is in flames before it touches the ground.

The Raptors pilot fires off another volley of shots at the Gulfstream, and again the plane takes a direct hit.

Inside the Gulfstream, Monk falls to the ground and is again lucky not to have been hit as the plane is hit again with a volley of cannon fire but still the Gulfstream stays intact.

    Back inside the Raptors cockpit.

Still in one piece, ah. He says surprised.

The Raptor pilot flips the missile switch to reveal a red FIRE button.

Let’s see if I can change that.

He pushes the red FIRE button and one of its short range missiles is released from its left side bay, and is propelled at lighting spend by its internal rocket and is sent off and is now heading directly towards the Gulfstream.

Inside the Gulfstream Monk pulls hard on the emergency door release handle and the door flies off into the sky.

    Surprising the Raptor’s pilot.

    What the fuck?

With the missile heading and gaining fast on the Gulfstream, Monk jumps out of the plane just a second before the missile hits.

Monk just gets away but sees the plane take the hit.

    What the fuck? Monk shouts.

The plane explodes in midair and destroys the Gulfstream.

The Raptors pilot radios back to his Commanding officer.

Sir I’ve taken out the plane but I think… ? His Commanding officer quickly replies.

    Think, think what?

The Raptor pilot replies. Sir I… I think someone jumped out of the plane just before I hit it.

Monk is now heading towards the ground at breakneck speed his parachute still not having been released.

The Raptor flies past large parts of the Gulfstream as it fly’s into the Gulfstream’s debris field, a strike of lighten lights the darkened cloudy sky, allowing the pilot to catch his real first sight of Monk below him, as Monk is illuminated by then another lighting strike, confirming to the Raptor’s pilot that someone did indeed jump out of the plane.

    Damn it.

The Raptor’s pilot manoeuvres his Raptor back towards Monk position. Monk is heading towards the ground at break neck speed with his parachute still firmly closed.

Monk looks down towards the ground and sees it fast approaching and goes to pull the parachute, when suddenly he catches sight of the Raptor heading towards him.

    Oh shit he’s seen me.

Monk quickly pulls out his hand gun struggling against the wind rushing past him and the high speed of his decent.

Inside the Raptors cockpit the pilots is heading directly towards Monk with the Pilots finger on the cannon’s red fire button. Monk manages to pull up his hand gun and lets off 3 quick shots towards the Raptor, two of which hit the Raptor fuselage. Inside the Raptor the pilot is totally surprised.

    What the fuck was that?

The pilot pulls the Raptor away and past Monk and doesn’t manage to let off any more shots from his front cannons.

The Raptor’s pilot sees Monk turn and now is heading face downwards, diving like a dart towards the ground with his parachute still not released.

The Raptor quickly turns his plane around and prepares to go in for the kill. The Raptor comes in for another attack, but Monk pulls on the parachute clip and the parachute is released, causing Monk to once again evade the Raptor, which shoot’s off a volley of cannon shots, all of which miss.

Who the fuck is this guy? Scream’s the pilot in anger.

Monk turns his parachute around and looks at the Raptor as it pulls away and makes a large circle again, like a vulture checking back to come in for the kill.

Suddenly the Commanding officer bursts over the Raptors radio.

What the hells going on? He screams out.

Sir he’s finally pulled his chute out and his descending slowly . . . But you can be sure that his mine now sir.

The officer then reinforces his command.

Just you make sure there’s no survivor’s you hear me don’t let anyone get away?

    Yes sir. Replies the pilot.

Meanwhile Monk sees parts of the Gulfstream crash in flames as it hits the ground below. Looking up quickly Monk see the Raptor coming back for another attack, Monk takes aim again at the plane as it heads towards him, as it comes in for another attack, then Monk lets off two shoots hitting the plane.

The Raptor is hit, inside the Raptors cockpit loud warning sounds and lights flash up on the Raptors control panel.

    What the fuck?

The Raptor’s pilot takes emergency action to stay in the air.

What the hell is he carrying?

The time as allowed Monk to pull in the parachute ropes and descends again at great speed towards the autumn tree canopy of the forest floor below. Nearing the ground suddenly Monk lets go of the ropes to expand the parachute helping to slow down his decent dramatically just before he hits the tree canopy of the forest below.

Monk hits the tree canopy hard and is left caught up in the branches.

Jesus Christ… Oh thank you up there…

Monk is alive but now left hanging in the trees with his parachute firmly stuck in the trees branches.

    Man that was close.

Monk pulls on the tangled lines but they are stuck. He continues.

Ah I could really do with a little help with getting this unhooked right now.

Monk then catches sight of the Raptor again and it’s heading directly towards Monk at great speed.

    Oh shit.

With its cannons firing volley after volley at Monk’s position, Monk is somehow still not even taken one single bullet.

Meanwhile inside the Raptor’s cockpit, the pilot flips the missile button, and releases two short range missiles from both left and right side bay which head directly towards the parachute, which is indicating like a bull’s eye on a dart board Monks possible position.

The two missiles one after another hit the tree and take it out, Monk is still hooked up on and the tree comes crashing to the ground.

WOOOOOO Shouts Monk as the tree comes tumbling to the ground.

But with the trees crashing down to the ground, Monk just manages to slap the parachute buckle in time and is able to jump clear of the falling tree as it hits the forest floor.

Monk is safe with both his feet now firmly on terra firma, the forest floor and air filled with autumn leaves as they fall to ground, after the tree hits the ground hard with an almighty loud bang that causes nearby trees to release lots of their autumn foliage all at once.

The commanding officer screams out over the Raptors radio.

    DID YOU GET HIM, MAN?

The pilot is confidant that he got his man and confirms.

Sir I don’t think anything is alive down there after I hit the area with such fire power.

The commanding officer then replies firmly.

You better be right… man, you better be right.

Back on the forest floor Monk is now safe and is found running between trees hiding away from the circling Raptor that is still above him. Monk pulls out his black iphone and inserted his crucifix cross that he pulls out from his tee shirt and inserts it into the top of the iphone.

This is Monk . . . This is Monk calling can you hear me?

Receiving you, Monk. A female replies.

I have retrieved the documents but lost 6 in the process, they knew he was on that plane and I was unable to save him or anyone else… I’m making my way back to the UK with the dossier.

Understood . . . God be with you, Monk. She replies.

He has been so far. Monk replies with confidence.

Meanwhile the thunderstorm has hit the area and rain descends onto the forest as thunder and lightening start to strike the area.

My name is Robert J. Monk, I work for an ancient secret Christian religious order but only a few know of the work we do for God, we fight evil on this earth in the hope we can keep mankind safe, we work with and behind the Secret services of most nations, some we aid other’s see our work as a thorn in their sides, that’s why we work on our own by ourselves but always with god by our side and under the safety of the British Crown.

A crack of thunder breaks the scene has Monk starts running through the forest, following his iphone directional finder as he makes his way through the dense forest and undergrowth, rain continues to fall.
