Loving: Soul Jazzin' of Humanity's Sovereign Intimacy
()
About this ebook
Who am I?
How do I want to BE?
What can WE BE as human beings?
Whats it all about to BE equitable now?
LOVING here distinguishes soul-coring intimacy from falling in love, eloquently explores by Toni Morrisons examples of misused Love, and ex[posed as abuse love for the kingdom by King Lears Usurpation of three daughters love with promises of privilege and parental regard; these misuses of LOVING and Being IN LOVING murder humanitys jazzin; for kincaring. This narrative rejects such UNLOVING scripts and habits as it offers antidotes with LOVING content and tools for equitable kincaring IN LOVING
Thomasyne Lightfoote Wilson
The author’s intimacy of LOVING depicts her soul’s spiritual coitus (conceived in her mother’s Blackfeet womb, sanctioned by Father Ed’s Cherokee nature). Her indigenous sovereignty was expanded in community-family spirits of Kpangbalamai, Liberia and Matathia, Kenya- experiences that reinforced learning from Stanford University’s doctorate in International Development. Dr, Wilsons’s innovations in equitable education were applied at San Jose State University. She coordinated complementary learning through a “Cross-Cultural/Urban Teacher Education Program,” based upon "Community-Family Guided Education." As Professor Emerita she continues to serve the community IN LOVING.

(Intimacy in spiritual coitus)
The grass voices greenness –
touches its life; tastes raindrops; feels air
GREETS shades of weathered GREEN.**
The tree proclaims life’s treeness –
invites yawning branches;
propels colors from its leaves;
remembers to BE not label, but BE tree.
mock-up1.pdfDedication
To ALL who BE PRESENT – willingly LOVING
by impregnating earth with jazzin’ soulness:
BEing NOW IN LOVING HERE IN LIFE’S SPIRIT
Remember: LOVING breathes and voices
the sovereign intimacy of soul’s jazzin’ –
humanity’s spirit of caring.
I entreat us to:
HONOR SPIRIT’S LIFE NOW.
BE IN SOUL’S JAZZIN’ HERE.

a prologue to folly, farce, or tragedy.
Acknowledgments
Before birth, Mama Sallie christened me to BE SOUL’S LOVER-to jazz in LIFE’S SPIRIT OF LOVING – and trust its intuitive keys. This tonal legacy for caring was empathetic intimacy that she modeled.
Sallie’s Blackfeet nature mingled with Father Ed’s Cherokee heritage and composed an IN LOVING score: indigenously synapsing vibrations in the blackness of Sallie’s womb. I am grateful for an inheritance that predisposes my choices toward beneficence, especially tuned to kin-making.
Sallie and Ed created interplays –foreplay and human exchanges IN LOVING. Their LOVING mirrors the eternal spirit of LOVING inherent in soul sovereignty. I rejoice as progeny (and ontogeny).
I thank Mary Jane Hamann, Ruth Glenister, and Anna Verbana Ostrom for openheartedness. We became willing to learn with our different selves in usufructuary home sharing. Our transpositions penetrated tangles and tensions of race, class, gender, sex, and role-generated prejudices. Soul’s melodies engaged our LOOKING and LISTENING. I appreciate these co-learners. Thanks to Ray and Nancy (and all the hellos in Call-Response
notes) and to Beatrice Wambui’s attentive communing.
Deep reverence and awe go to our community-families in Kpangbalamai, Liberia (Chief Jallah’s breaking word,
Robert Jallah, Elizabeth and John Korli with all adults IN LOVING with the children); also thanks to members at Matathia, Kenya (Samuel, Sr., Agnes, Peter Mucheru and all shamba kincarers). They nourished my rainforest nature and together we expressed our fallible notes, intentionally attending to our varied and sometimes dissonant voices; nevertheless, our cradled exchanges inspired (and revealed) kin tones of humankindness. I am eternally grateful to you.
My muses have offered indescribable oxygen. I adore their authenticity: Cherry Rochelle Jackson, Duane, Georgeanne, Sharon, Nikki G., Toni Morrison, Pastor Mac, and Joe (first lover
in my teens). You filled me with artistry for BEing kin IN LOVING.
I appreciate the pleasure of academic jazzin’. These experiences complemented my aboriginal voice. I thank you- friends all: Drs. Warren C. Hayman, Joyce E. King, Paul Hanna, Mary A. Brown Sherman, and Stephen Awokoya.
Special thanks to Tina Tseng for our joyful teen-generated jazzin’ as we typed our way through this literary embrace; to Muturi Samu for his art work I say blessings to you, and thanks.

LOVING arouses. It matters for GREETING LIFE’S SPIRIT. Its intimacy breathes Immortal Loving
(like the power of treeness) with which humanity can learn foreplay- in pregnant BLACKNESS- and explore I-Know-Not
contact while touching goodwill in a caring conscience. (Is this your soul’s sovereignty?)
The metaphoric spacetime of GREETING pregnancy of soul’s LOVING –contacting humankind’s source of sovereignty-while MEETING conditions for learning to BE IN LOVING simultaneously, composes the authority of SPIRIT: the power for thriving souls. This means, GREETING LOVING and MEETING IN LOVING become balancing tools
as well as impregnating seeds for kincarers to attend to and reconcile dilemmas, contradictions, conflicts, and different
identities without the need to DO WAR against different others.
In short, LOVING authentically and relating as kincarers completes us with ACTUALIZED IN LOVING: humanity’s complementary co-existence which is sustained by intentionally caring and sharing beyond misappropriated and acculturated Love.
*** LOVING truly is jazzin’ in soul’s intimacy for caring.
Imagine the nature of LOVING. What is your vision of LOVING- your soul-bonded contact beyond authoritarianism, oppression, addictiveness, greed, sex, gender, envy, popularity, prestige, and manipulations of hidden desires for power? What can you envision as soul’s aliveness (and activated aesthetics) of BEing YOU IN LOVING? What is LOVING content – its language in you…accompanied by its art, music, poetry, regenerative and reconciliative knowledge – with the whole efficacy of soulness?
This narrative explores LOVING and BEing IN LOVING as kincarers, a sojourn that impregnates and beckons us to BE thriving souls; (Fig. 1) together, we learn to behave responsibly by BEing humane, helpful, distinctive in significance yet acting in complementarity as earth’s private-public beings; yes, flawed like Toddlers in the Rainforest.
Through it all we remain globally kin: privileged in dignity, valuable as one and all, and unabandoned as a creative sojourner – kincarers all.
Will our choice be to cease
