Dianne Ingle has been a registered nurse for nearly thirty years and works at the Family Medicine Clinic at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Dianne and her husband have been married thirty-two years; they met in the US Air Force in 1979 at Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, California. They have traveled in the air force for thirty years and have been assigned to bases in Guam, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and throughout the US. They have two grown boys, Chris and Derek. Dianne was a Sunday school teacher for several years and became a Stephen Minister in 1996. She also writes inspirational Christian poems for The Link Newsletter at the Clearfield Community Church and enjoys her hobby of making stained glass works in her free time.

    Introduction

    I believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I am a woman of faith. This book I share wholeheartedly with you, with the hope that it will inspire you, strengthen your faith, and encourage your spirit, as you daily walk with God.

    This is the Light I Breathe is a collection of poems and stories, describing the beauty in the world around us, and it is filled with themes of faith, hope, caring, and love. It also has stories and poems that embrace our joy, laughter, and tears; each one designed to provide a divine inspiration for us all.

    I began writing poems four years ago. We were encouraged by our leaders, in our Stephen Ministry supervision class to write about our experience as a Stephen Minister.

    A Stephen Minister is a Christian caregiver, who provides one- on- one care, to a person in the church, who is experiencing a life crisis or challenge. Stephen Ministers typically are assigned to one care receiver at a time, and meet with that person for about one hour each week. Stephen Ministry is a lay caring ministry, in which, trained Christian caregivers, go through a six-month training program, learning to provide a close, caring relationship to another Christian who is hospitalized, bereaved, depressed, terminally ill, divorced, or facing a life crisis. It provides personal care to those who are hurting, and need the healing love of our Lord, especially during this time of crisis in their
