    Chapter One

    What the fuck am I supposed to do now? Racecar driver John Monroe stood three feet away looking at his now-totaled car. He had a good chance of becoming a winner again in Talladega, Alabama. That would have put him back on the right

    track to getting his title back. There were ten cars this time in the big one, with him in the middle of it all. At least he wasn’t injured thanks to all the new safety devices, unlike his racing friend Scotty.

    What I should do is go home, be with Alexis, to get some much needed sleep and then worry about what to do before the next race. First stop was the hospital to see how Scotty was, then get the next flight back to Santa Barbara. When he got to the hospital, he could only see Scotty for a few minutes since they were limiting his visitor’s stay.

    Getting to the airport, John quickly boarded the private plane and closed his eyes for a few minutes, thinking of his wife Alexis. She’d be waiting for him at home, wearing nothing but a great big smile like always. Then he’d make love to her until the sun would start to rise.

    John thought back to the last time they went skinny dipping in the lake, then ended up making love right there by the lake. It was a Monday to be exact, his face split into a wide grin thinking about it... John was sprawled out on the grass, letting the sun dry his skin. One hand behind his head and Alexis curled up alongside him, beautiful as always, her hand making a path down his body, over his chest, across the flat plain of his stomach to his sizable erection. He could see the way she looked at him, her mouth watering and her nipples hard from wanting to take him into her mouth...

    Hey, why the stupid grin on your face?

    John felt someone smack him on the arm. He looked up, Roger.

    Time to get off, we’ve landed.

    It took him a few minutes before he said, "Wish I got off." After saying it out loud John saw several eyes looking at him funny.
