      Are You Ready

      Aching, trembling, overcome with pain,

      In this world there is nothing more left to gain.

      Trials and tribulations continue to unfold,

      It’s all part of the plan the Bible Prophets foretold.

      Here there is only momentary happiness, that’s how it’s meant to be,

      Because there is a bigger picture Christ wants us to see.

      We are not here for our gratification,

      But for God’s heavenly education.

      Some will deny His truth and turn to sin,

      While other’s will latch on, looking forward to eternity to begin.

      Which way will you go? Are you ready?

      Choose to follow, stay on His path steady.

      If you go down the evil road,

      A horrid life does your future hold.

      Faith

      As a small child with nothing more than faith in God above,

      This little girl just wanted to feel love.

      After years of beatings, and harsh words spoken,

      She held on to one simple token.

      A token of a promise that the most powerful man made,

      To never leave nor forsake her, she knew with her He always stayed.

      No hit would hurt her, no word would cut to deep,

      Because faith in Jesus this little girl made her leap.

      She then felt a love like none ever known,

      And He protected her, even now that she is grown.

      He is her strength in weakness, her shelter from the rain,

      He was the one who protected her from the pain.

      No one else has proven to be so true,

      So she has to give credit where credit is due.

      God Almighty, to His love nothing dare compare,

      This little girl now a woman to the world His glory she will share.

      If you ever need to feel love,

      Look up and ask for it, he gives it freely the good Lord above.

      Surrender

      Your life is so complicated, no relief in your future for you to see,

      Why? When Jesus says, I will never forsake thee?

      Has your expression on your face stuck in a frown,

      In self pitty and misery have you drown?

      Are you afraid you can’t be forgiven?

      By Satan are you driven?

      Shhh . . . can’t you hear Him calling?

      Stop standing there, stop stalling.

      Follow His voice, take that leap in faith now,

      Don’t look at me, don’t dare ask how.

      Instead fall to your knees and pray,

      Surrender to God in every single way.

      He is there waiting on you,

      Stop listening to Satan, live by faith in all you do.

      You will see a difference in the life you live,

      Once you realize His son for you He did give.

      Jesus

      Ever feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and you can’t break free?

      Ever begged, cried and made a plea?

      Do you ever wonder if this will get better? To feel no more pain?

      Did you know that a surrendered heart that you can gain?

      He, Jesus Christ awaits with open arms,

      To protect you from emotional and physical harms.

      We all fall short, all make mistakes this is true,

      But did you know with a little prayer Jesus will forgive you?

      There is no perfection but His for the eye to see,

      But I know 100% He forgives and loves me.

      So the next time you feel there is no hope,

      Ask Jesus into your heart and he’ll help you cope.

      Satan’s Whispers

      In the Bible many stories we are told,

      Yet the key of destruction Satan still does hold.

      From the moment he was put out,

      He in people, begin to stir up doubt.

      Whispering to us little lies here and there,

      To his evilness nothing compare.

      He never stops, he never slows,

      For if he does, his victory is lost he knows.
