Fifty Anchors of God’S Blessings - Joseph Harris

    CHAPTER 1

    PHARAOH’S FLASH

    EXODUS 24

ANCHORS #1 WE ARE ANCHORED IN GOD’S BLESSINGS OF DELIVERANCE, PROTECTION, POWER AND FAVOR. WE ARE NO LONGER BOUND BY PHARAOH!

Exodus 11:1-3 And the LORD said to Moses, "I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether. Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbor and every woman from her neighbor, articles of silver and articles of gold." And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

    ANCHORING POWER OF GOD

Every person needs to know that they are anchored in God’s power. God has all power and no one has power like His. Many people have experienced challenges after the Lord gave instructions to do something and they did not comply. God always intended to anchor us in favor and His power. Remember, He always had the land of milk and honey in store for the children of Israel. Moses did not make it, but he saw it. Joshua had to take the people over. Joshua recognized God’s power and did not allow human nature to interfere.

One of our problems is that human nature often gets in the way of the spiritual nature. God speaks in the spirit. God gets our attention when we break out with something such as a disease, a serious injury resulting from a car wreck or fight, even something more severe like loss of life. Yes, grownups and children fight and people do suffer. People definitely can lose their lives. On the other hand, there are people that increase in favor when they obey God. You may have experienced something two or three times and you know how we are. We ask ourselves a question, is that God speaking to me? More than likely, you already know it is God. We need to stop ignoring Him and be obedient when He calls on us. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to anchor us to His word, will and His ways. A prophet was called to speak over some people concerning what God wanted this man of God to do at a revival. When he obeyed what God said through the prophet, a breakthrough with healing experiences occurred in the church. This man came to the altar for healing deliverance of his back, a woman with a lump in her breast, a child that was partially blind. The Man of God was already given the information that these people would come this day and he was to lay hands on them, said the prophet sent by God. The Pastor laid hands and prayed for each one in the name of Jesus and healing instantly occurred. The Pastor prayed in the name of Jesus again on another occasion for the deliverance for his son and the sons of two couples to be released from prison. The request to God was answered. The prophet of God, not any prophet because many who call themselves prophets are false prophets, this time visited another Man of God and this man did not obey the words of God through the messenger to give instructions to a family in regards to their bad lifestyle and another couple regarding their adulterous and sinful life. He was afraid to lose his members. God removed him from the ministry as if he was a plague to the ministry. When we served God as he called Moses to serve as a deliverer, we must do it whole-heartedly. God wants us to be anchored to the Holy Spirit today so we can be obedient when He speaks.

God always anchors His leading man to get the mission done. Moses discovered God at the burning bush, His life changed that day and he became a man of God that was on fire to serve God. God immediately used Moses in a mighty way. Moses formed a relationship with God because he felt God’s love and call to walk as a servant, in victory and his glory. His relationship became a serious one because he trusted God and knew the heart of Moses. The Lord knew he could use Moses. I believe Moses was anchored in the Lord as soon as he had the burning bush experience. Everybody may not be the same. But God knows the heart of man. Moses’ relationship with God truly can be considered as anchored in the Lord. Moses was anchored because of the covenant relationship God had with him. God loved Moses so much that He favored Moses and His people. He favored Moses over Pharaoh. Although Pharaoh was hard at enslaving God’s people, he could not keep them enslaved. The grips of bondage that Pharaoh and Egypt had on God’s people did not outweigh the power of God’s favor on the lives of the children of Israel. God made sure that he got Pharaoh’s attention when he brought the plague on Pharaoh and Egypt. God allowed Pharaoh to see that Moses was great in the land of Egypt. Moses was greater than Pharaoh because he was God’s servant. God loves to follow through with His word. You cannot help but to see what the Lord has done with His people in the midst of hardship. God’s power was manifested in the sight of Pharaoh and it blew his mind. God’s power flashed right before the eyes of Pharaoh and there was nothing he could do about it. There is not power greater than God’s power. There is no more convincing power than God’s power at work. When it seems like Pharaoh could not be convinced, God did it! There are many pharaohs in today’s society that make it difficult to believe and cross over to Jesus Christ. Make no mistake about! God will convince everyone with a pharaoh spirit or attitude to cross over and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. When you experience the power of Jesus it leaves a person in awe and the reality that God is God and that God has more power than anyone else. You then realize that there is no other God!

    GOD ANCHORED MOSES IN BLESSINGS

Exodus 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

God prepares Moses as He gives him instructions. Moses is a blessed Man of God in whom God selected for the mission of deliverance. Moses listens to God and prepares to deliver a blessing to people he has really never met. One of the things that touched him is that God changed Him and the people are his people. One thing that Moses understood clearly was that God was the God of all power and creation. He even wrote about saying I am that I am which really lets any and everyone in the world know that God will never change. Everything He put in order and in motion was and is for His glory. Moses spoke God’s word and let them know that God word will be done according to his purpose. God demonstrated his power then and later He would do it again. One thing I know about the Lord. He is the God that can do it again in my life. He blessed me over and over. In fact, he never stops blessing me.

THE WILDERNESS DOES NOT ANCHOR ME!

Numbers 14:1 Then the whole community began weeping aloud, and they cried all night. Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness! they complained. Why is the LORD taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and our little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better for us to return to Egypt? Then they plotted among themselves, Let’s choose a new leader and go back to Egypt! Then Moses and Aaron fell face down on the ground before the whole community of Israel. Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, "The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey.

God does not desire you to be anchored to your wilderness experience. Therefore you can come out of your wilderness and the devil’s wilderness anytime now! Listen, stop protesting against God. Stop going against the grain. God sent you a messenger to help you get freed up and you went against what God set in motion. No wonder you are crying out. Don’t mess with God’s order in blessing you. Moses was sent full of blessings to help the children of Israel to be fully free. God was setting them up for multiple blessings to be anchored in for a lifetime and they were crying out that it would be better to go back to Egypt. The problem with people today is that they rather stay in bondage because the enemy has blinded them from seeing future blessing in the promise land. Today you need to see past all the enemy plots and those people who persuade you to stay in the wilderness and bondage. Then get on God’s side. If it is a messenger, a man of God he sends to you, check it out and get on board for your blessed life to come. You are not anchored in the wilderness, burdens and bondage. You are anchored in the God who has all power to deliver you and bless you all at the same time. Your wilderness experience was just for a moment in time then you can testify of God’s mercy and power that took you out Pharaoh’s hand and the wilderness.

Do not go into the wilderness unless God sends you through for a test and testimony. God does not anchor us to the wilderness. God is always blessing and delivering his people out of all kinds of trials and wilderness experiences. He will anchor you for more than forty years to bless you. Nevertheless, there are always some that exalt God and some that consistently complain even though they get blessed in and out of their wilderness experience. Your wilderness experience is a situation like being in bondage or enslaved to something that wants to be master over your life. It was a blessing that God took the children of Israel out of the hands of Pharaoh. God could have left them in slavery-bondage. But God is the God of freedom and liberty. Don’t let anything get twisted and make you fall into bondage. Life can easily hit you and things get twisted and next thing you know, you complain. Even when you get set free, some people still complain. The people of Israel were like that when God used Moses to get them out of Egypt. Do not go back to Egypt nor adapt that mentality. You were not broken by the devil. When God uses someone to witness to you and get you delivered, don’t turn your back on them and walk away. Don’t allow the enemy to make you plot against those who bless you. Instead go into prayer for your leaders in the church. God put them on mission just like he put you on mission. He wants us to pray and walk as a team to continue our deliverance walk and worship Him. God already knew that there would be complainers. God already had set up the course of blessing for the people of Israel. He never stopped loving them. God had a land filled with milk and honey waiting on them. Forty years in the desert was just another test to see if people would pray and trust God. God wanted to see if his people would be thankful for their deliverance and worship him without a complaining spirit. It is time to break away from that kind of spirit and get closer to God and be thankful for the blessings of milk and honey. The people had lost focus and were concentrating on replacing Moses. God was focused on Moses continuing his leadership and the people being blessed and giving them Canaan, those who would remain to see the day.

    PHARAOH’S MIND FLASH

Exodus 11: 4-6 Then Moses said, "Thus says the LORD: ‘About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt; and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the animals. Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again.

Pharaoh had to experience plagues because he was disobedient. God made sure He got Pharaoh’s attention this time. God unleashed a death angel to visit every home and building. The instruction was to put the blood on your doorpost. God took the first born of those people in their home in Egypt that did not obey Him. When Pharaoh lost his son, he was convinced that Moses’s God was and is the true God.

During Moses’s time, God honored Moses because of his obedience and his meekness and humility to follow the voice of God. Moses led God’s people out of the bondage that Pharaoh had them in. I need to speak about Pharaoh since he is a character that most people view as an extremely evil one. All of that time Pharaoh had God’s people locked up in extreme bondage, his heart was satisfied and he was destined in his own mind not to change. He did not believe in the same God Moses believed in. In fact I recall viewing the old movie the Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner, a classic when it could only take God to convince anyone of that nature and character to change. You do need to understand that there are some Pharaohs today that need to be changed and God will change them. What made this a classic is the series of events. It was also probably a classic in so many people’s minds because it reflects freedom and more importantly that God really demonstrated a love and compassion beyond imagination that set His people free. Moses even said to Pharaoh several times, Let my people go. Throughout the entire course of events, the plagues, the death of the firstborn and the Red Sea being opened, Pharaoh’s heart was still hardened. He was a person whose soul was so lost and embedded into false gods that he refused to know God. There are people with lost souls like his today that we must pick up our staffs and go get them and bring to God for transformation. It really takes God to change people. However, we can show them who we are in Jesus Christ. It would take the power of God to flash through the mind and sight of Pharaoh to make him clearly see through demonstration that God is God and there is no other like Him. God can help anyone that has the attitude of Pharaoh, denying God and keeping themselves and others in bondage because the enemy has blinded them. Blessed be the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

    THE RED SEA EXPERIENCE

In the early 70s, people all over the world had their channels turned to the motion picture The Ten Commandments. There are many memorable scenes in the movie. The one that stood out to most viewers is what happened at the Red Sea. Most people can recognize Moses raising his staff for the waters to divide. It stood for something back then and it still stands for deliverance and freedom from bondage through the power of God.

The same God used Moses on earlier visits to Pharaoh to tell him to let His people go. God had Moses to use that same staff to demonstrate God’s power over Pharaoh’s magicians and who used staffs to transform into serpents. The second time it was the water to come out of the rock, but he did it in disobedience. The third time it was the parting of the Red Sea. The third time Moses raised the staff at the Red Sea to represent the awesome power of God and believing that the waters would be divided for a path to deliverance of God’s people. The Bible tells us that the waters were rolled back and the ground was dry that same instance. God’s power was illustrated for the purpose of deliverance. Anytime you trust in the living God to fight your battle and deliver you out of the hand of the enemy, whatever that enemy is, God will deliver you. Get the same attitude Moses had in trusting in the Most High God. When Moses’s staff went up, you better believe that prayers went up. You see the staff also represented a lineage of God’s people’s past, present and future. Not only did Moses us the rod to open the waters. He used the same rod to close the water, drowning Pharaoh’s Army. When God uses someone, He will give them power to get the victory. Just as God opened the Red Sea for the children of Israel to escape and be free from slavery and bondage in Egypt, He can open the red sea for you. God can create a path wide open for you to get to the other side and receive abundant blessings. Remember, we are talking about the God of favor. He favors you today and will stop all of your enemies in their tracks. God will drown or destroy your enemies. Ask God to open a path for you like He did for the children of Israel.

    BLESSINGS ON ABRAM’S LIFE

    GENESIS 15:1-8

After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:

    "Do not be afraid, Abram.

    I am your shield,

    your very great reward."

But Abram said, O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir. Then the word of the LORD came to him: This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir. He took him outside and said, Look up at the heavens and count the stars if indeed you can count them. Then he said to him, So shall your offspring be. Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. He also said to him, I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it. But Abram said, O Sovereign LORD, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?

God gave Abram instructions to look at the stars and number them because He wanted him to have faith in the blessings that would be revealed and come into his life. It was as if God was saying you are asking me for a child but I am about to give you the promised child and all people will fall under your name as far as you can see and count. Abram was to become the Father of many nations because God gave him that position due to his faith and obedience. The reason Abram’s mind was on his flesh and blood son is because he wanted a legacy. He wanted to pass on blessings that God had given him. It was also a custom to have a male child to carry on your name. The same still applies in today’s world. Every man wants a boy to carry his name, seed and blessing. Not only was God giving Abram the blessing of offspring, He was giving the blessing of the land of Canaan to take possession. God wants us today to have faith and believe in what He alone can do. Maybe you have been hoping for God to do something in your life. He wants us to have a faith that causes manifestations. Abram’s faith would cause him to see the son that God has promised him. God wants us to know that we can count on His promises.

    OVERCOMING PHARAOH’S MENTALITY

Jack and Shelia Jackson learned something from the Bible while attending Sunday church service. They learned how God used Moses to get Pharaoh’s attention. More importantly, they learned that they did not have to live in bondage. They learned that God helps people breakthrough bondage. You cannot do it with your own power. Shelia’s Pastor preached on overcoming the Pharaoh mentality which means do not hold onto bondage that Pharaoh inflicted! Let it go today! Pharaoh had no regard for family values. He was a strict ruler and taskmaster who hurt people.

I am so tired of that boy. Anything turns his behind on. Hi Baby, Hi Mom, I am glad to be home. I missed you guys. Mom, I want to you to meet someone. Who Honey? I brought a friend home for you to meet. Daniel was little nervous because his mom is picky. Her name is LaToya. She is in the car. Let me go and get her. Please do not embarrass me mom. Wow Daniel! She is beautiful. Hi, Ms. Braxton. Hello LaToya. It is so nice to meet you. The only problem with Daniel is that he still lives with a secret because he was sexually abused by someone close when he was 11 years old. Now Daniel is 27 years old and engaged.

This family has struggled to overcome this difficult pain in court over the alleged abuse against Daniel by a priest. Daniel has moved on with his life but now the challenge of really letting go lingers in his mind causing angry outbursts and resentment. He faces a spiritual battle every day and, because of this horrific incident, he questions God. At times this problem turned into more anger that caused him to inflict pain on others. Sheila does not know about the trouble that Daniel has gotten into out of town at a Texas college. This past pain has caused bitterness in the heart of Daniel that is triggered when he gets on the subject of the church. He seeks counsel weekly to control the urges and the bad thoughts against the priest. Daniel is overcoming the pain and guilt but he has another side that no one can pinpoint. This story is about breaking through family pain. Shelia and LaToya are hitting it off nicely. Daniel comes by and gives the look of satisfaction because his mom approves of LaToya. What Shelia did not see is the abuse that Daniel inflicted on LaToya behind closed doors. He is happy that mom likes his future wife. The welcome home to Daniel from college with other friends and family went well until Shelia spotted a scar on LaToya arm and bruise. Shelia question LaToya in the kitchen. She slept on it but ended up waking Jack in the midnight. Jack was disturbed and spoke with Daniel. Daniel refused to talk and became a little angry. A fight almost broke out. Daniel is the stepson of Jack. So Daniel really does not want to talk. Daniel was happy about the visit but now he is disturbed. He is happy that he found a new love to help him overcome individual pain.

    CHAPTER 2

    ANCHORED IN GOD’S SEED COVENANT

    GENESIS 22

Gen 22:18 "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."

ANCHORS #2 WE ARE ANCHORED IN GOD’S SEED COVENANT. GOD PROMISED ABRAHAM THE BLESSING!

Seed has anchoring power that no one can break or destroy. Seed has gripping power. Seed has an anchor for life and love in it permanently. Seed is one of God’s most powerful elements and creations on the planet. Men carry seed and transfer to the wife for producing a child. A woman does not have seed. The only seed she gets is from her husband. The woman is fertile for her husband so she can receive seed and produce children and bear fruit. God is talking about the human seed, the generations to come from Abraham. Of course Jesus is the seed from heaven and of the New Testament. This passage connects us to the Spiritual seed and the power of God. Abraham’s seed will be blessed simply because Abraham was obedient to God’s voice and demonstrated his faith in God. His action spoke louder than words. He moved when God said move. He gave when God said to give. The blessed seed is from God, His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the seed that anchors every human being. In the Old Testament God is showing us that we are blessed by God as he uses Abraham. In the New Testament, God directs Jesus; His seed in which all the earth is blessed that call His name.

The most productive places in the world are farmlands when we think of growing food products and harvesting. They do it by planting seed in the ground and nurturing that seed. Seed power is evident on the farm because the land is being produced with seed. First step is to use the seed and plant the seed believing that God will use it and give it the power to yield. The United States, Europe, Asia, China, Russia, Iraq, Africa, Great Britain, and all other nations in this world must have the power to produce with seed in their country’s land. They must produce to bear good fruit from fertile ground. Each one of these countries have markets that sell fruit. Most market places produce good fruit and on their river fronts or perspective place to sell good fruit to customer from all around because of their reputation of selling good fruit they sell out. Why did God make a covenant using seed? God wants us to honor Him and give Him the glory. We as believers become sellouts for God. We sell out with the power of the word. We must be sellouts in the word of God to plant seed by the power of the Holy Spirit and be fruitful. Yes the atmosphere, the environment and the power to nurture the seed is a must by the Holy Spirit. Man must have the Holy Spirit to produce using him as an instrument and witness to produce harvest and blessings. God gives life to seed. He does produce dead seed.

    SPEAK IT! BELIEVE IT!

Mark 11:20-24 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

You may have remembered the story of the fig tree that would not bear fruit when Jesus came on the scene. Jesus cursed that tree to the point that it had to wither away to be completely disposed of and never used again. He uses the illustration for us so that we do not allow anything to stunt our blessed means of production baring fruit. The difference is that He will use us again. He blessed it that it would be pleasing in His sight. God opposes withholding His blessings that He has given us. We must bless the Lord back in return for His marvelous and wondrous giving.

We also have the watermelons and cantaloupes that have an abundance of seeds on the inside. Inside these fruits, seed is in abundance. Nevertheless it has the power to reproduce more fruit with seed. God placed a much higher order of seed producing power in his people than He did in other creation products.

It is said that a woman can ovulate and have more babies in a certain cycle of reproduction than normally anticipated. But she first must allow her husband to enter or consummate with her the seed. She has to accept the seed of her husband. Man produces an abundance of seed in one session, capable of delivering several children at one time. Study the birth process.

    GOOD SEED

Genesis 1:11-12 Then God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in it according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Seasons and seed go together because God never stops producing. There is a season for you to produce something with the seed God gave you. God intentionally created seed blessings in every season. Your life is sustained in every season because God is looking for you to produce something for His glory. You are a seed so produce something. God uses every season for us to grow and produce. If you do not grow, how can you produce? Do not stay the same empty vessel. You have a purpose similar to fruit trees. You need to yield something! Get into the Soul winners program and plant seed to win someone to Jesus Christ. Drop a word of God into someone’s life. Plan that seed today. Listen, you are seen and seed is inside of you. When apples grow and businesses purchase and process them, their production comes in the form of apple juice in the market place for consumers to purchase. Millions of people purchase it and consume it for nourishment. Then the business makes millions in profits. This is your season to produce. Sow seed, get seed and produce for God’s glory. This is your season to produce.

In the summer time, we loved to eat watermelon because it tastes so good. Every time we open one it had multiple seeds inside. I always thought it was amazing how all those seeds were inside it. Nevertheless, we ate them every season of production and disposed of the leftover seeds and rinds far off into the field. Every time we would return to the spot, new melons would have sprouted up on top of the ground. All of those leftover and thrown away seeds were used to produce new watermelons. God blesses us to see that seed cycle never stops. I also learned that God uses all of His seeds. In other words no one is a throw away. God produces through all of His seed that he purposed. Another thing is that God revealed to us that seed reproduces seed as we see in the book of Genesis. God creates good seed in all of His creation. He does not think about whether or not seed will be good, He knows that all of His seed is a blessing. Seed reproduces and yields as the result is in the harvest. More seed is multiplied to produce more harvest and the cycle goes on. Seed is in multiples. When Jesus placed His spiritual seed in the believer, believers are known as being fruitful because they are witnesses to help multiply in believers constantly worshiping and serving to expand the Kingdom even more. The next time you look at your biological child or even your spiritual children, remember that the seed that God placed in you will show forth in the seed in them.

    ABRAHAM’S SEED

Genesis 17:5-9 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

God chose His beginning substance, the seed to bless people and the earth and His creation. God ensures that His seed reproduces as He spoke of it in Genesis 1:11. God blesses us as Abraham’s seed because of his obedience. He initially called him Abram. Then later the blessing came and his name was changed into Abraham, the father of many nations Genesis 17:5-9. Nevertheless, make no mistake; we are God’s seed first and foremost. He created us in His likeness. It is absolutely amazing that God can God bless everyone under one man’s faith and obedience that He blessed. It simply shows us the power of God and how He views our lives. He reminds us that He can see every move that we make. He reminds us that He delights in us when we obey Him. If Abram had done the opposite of God, the outcome would have been different. We know it because the outcome with Adam was different because Adam lost the garden. Adam was no longer perfect in God’s eyes. If he had still been perfect, there would have been no need for the second Adam, Jesus Christ, to reconcile us to the Father. No one could have truly known if God would have done something different. We do know that disobedience does not please God in any way. Nevertheless through all of the disappointments and acts of disobedience, God still appointed Jesus to be our redeemer, the perfect seed that we would stem bless us.

He made Abram the father of many nations because of his obedience. He made Jesus Lord and King of all creations. One thing for sure is that it makes me want to be more obedient to God. The more obedient, the more blessings and you give glory to God. Abram’s name was changed and He was blessed more than the stars in the sky. He was blessed more the sand on seashores. God is a God who made promises and will never break His promises. When God speaks, make no mistake about God’s promises. He is not like man, He speaks and His word backs it up with action. He already proved Himself. God is telling us that if you obey my voice, I will bless you. So then it is time to start being alert and listening to the voice of the Lord. Think about the things He just might ask of us.

    SEED ON GOOD GROUND

Jesus also blesses us when he speaks about seed to His disciples in Mark 4:3-9 Listen Behold a sower went out to sow. And it happened as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no debt of the earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yield a crop that sprang up, increased and produced; some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."

When seed falls on good ground, it will produce. God’s blessings will come forth in multiples on good ground. It is the word of God that makes it multiply some thirty, sixty, and hundred fold. The good ground is the conversion cause by the power of seed that is planted. Seed is ready for use. The word is ready to be used. You have the word in you ready to be used. Quoting a scripture to someone is planting seed. You just did something for God. There is some good ground in you because you have some word in you planted that has not left you. The good ground is in one respect a representation of a converted Christian’s heart that has allowed the word of God to penetrate and has become a witness to the lost souls of the world, producing under the anointing more thirty, sixty, and hundred fold. You can go out and get people who need the Lord in their lives. They will be thankful and never forget you. God’s word is the seed that is required by every Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher and all Servants to deliver to all people. God plants His word into the hearts of people. (Ephesians 4:11)

Mark 4:14 The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The writer points out the fact that when the sowers preach and deliver the word of God people who seem to have received, the enemy comes in and makes them forget the word that they just heard preached. This is because these groups of people allow the enemy to make them forget their purpose and word of God that just went out. God reminds us that people must allow the word to get rooted inside the heart. When the word of God is rooted inside man’s heart, the enemy has no ground to stand on. You are a child of the most High God.

SOWING SEED EQUATES TO MULTIPLE BLESSINGS

Mark 4: 11-20 He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,

‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,

    and ever hearing but never understanding;

otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’

Then Jesus said to them, Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.

When the farmer places the seed in the ground, he goes to sleep while the process takes place underground until God pushes the outcome above ground, resulting in a product. Then the harvest is ready to gather and deliver. God wants you to sow because it is a blessing to reap from the harvest. The one who planted that seed will receive the blessing in multiples. Your blessing will return in multiples. The reason behind it is that God promises His blessings to those who give. There is a sowing time and a harvest. God delivers a harvest upon you sowing to God Matthew 13:23. You were born to produce something and produce it on good ground. Genesis 8:22; 2 Corinthians 6-9-12.

    SACRIFICE BLESSING

God saw you give your sacrificial blessing. In every case we should be reminded that He sees us as He saw Abraham sacrificing his only son, Isaac, that he had been waiting for his wife to have for years. He was not even sure that she would conceive until God spoke to him and told him that it would come to pass. So when he finally receives his long awaiting son, he was asked to sacrifice him. But God saw his heart and stopped him. It was at a place called Jehovah Jira. Jehovah Jira is one the names used to address God and it means God will provide. Genesis 22:14

    SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

What are some things that you seek with great determination? Most people seek fame, respect and money. These three are definitely the top areas that people focus on. People also seek a job or a commitment that impresses other people. It is sometimes a strong desire to have something of value or meaning. Seek God in whatever you do and your plans will succeed according to His plan for your life. Without a shadow of doubt God must be the first and center of your life. In society today, other things attract people at all ages. For example, video games are sought after every day. Some people are obsessed with video games. Video games hold the attention of people at every age. Most of today’s video games deal with violence, sex and nudity. To gain anything, you must seek God first. To get answer about life’s greatest circumstances and situations, seek God first. God wants us to understand that he put people in our paths to help us in our walk to accomplish ministry. However, some may run from the task and some may even reject you. Nevertheless, God is still available with open arms ready to give you the answer and comfort you.

    MUSTURD SEED

Mark 4: 30-32 Then He said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.

In 2003, my family moved to Texas to start our lives. We were family-oriented and in the ministry at a local church. We begin meeting people and things were just fine as we lived the blessed life then and today. My wife has a fascination with trees and plants, and flowers in general. Well, this led us to working in the backyard planting many trees and small bushes and flowers. Today, I look at the results of the work we did planting trees. I recognized three trees that my family of four worked on together digging the same holes and planting those seeds inside. One of the techniques we used was utilizing the same soil that was rich and fertile. In some holes we planted trees that were about 3 feet and today those same trees are 60 to 70 feet high. It stills boggles my mind to see earth produce in its fertile ground such a manifestation and transformation of trees (wood). It just reminds us of His design and creative power. God not only revealed His power in the area of seed and fertile manifestation, He enabled my family to stick together as a team in to be a part of something fruitful. God gave us the pear tree, apple tree, and magnificent rose bushes and lots more. In the soil, He reminds me of the power of His seed that is already planted in the earth for His pleasure.

GALATIANS 6:6-10 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

    KINGDOM SEED PLANTED

MATTHEW 13:31-32 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.

People in God’s Kingdom can’t help but to grow and bless other people. Of course these are those that really honor God and witness to those that are lost. God’s people plant seeds in the lives of others and stand by and watch the power of God deliver people. Today is your day to call on the name of Jesus Christ since your family member planted seeds in your life. It is time to start serving God with your life. The power in seed produces strong trees. God is showing Christians also that the power of seed produces strong kingdom warriors that walk in faith

    INCREASE

2 Kings 4:4-6 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones." So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, Bring me another vessel. And he said to her, "There is not another vessel." So the oil ceased.

Every area of business regardless of being specifically profitable always expects an increase in profit and income because of the blessing. We often think of financial systems in business markets, personal financial situations. The business market is made up that way. Big and small businesses drive economies in every country when it comes to employment and wages, business profits, increase jobs, innovation, technology, systems, financial institutions, education institutions and much more. The economy is the central nucleus of societies. Economy is the flow of money. It involves interest rates and taxes for the nation. It involves national spending rates. This thing called economy regulates society and affects families in various capacities and conditions of life. In the spiritual world, Our Father in heaven has always provided for people even when the economy is suffering a recession. God provides for everyone regardless of who you are or what culture you live in. When you call on His name he continues to bless even when it seems like the overflow has decrease. God wants us to start thinking about his increase. God changes the situation around all of the time. You just need to decide to receive it. This woman in the Bible believed the prophet Elijah and received the overflow from the Lord. Her faith caused her to receive more oil than she could put in containers. She instantly began to operate in the overflow with the manifestation of what God can do for you and anyone else. One of things we all must remember is to be ready for your faith in God to pour out blessings in your life that you might not have room enough for. God is looking for more vessels to fill with His anointing power. God will pour out blessings and increase in your life. The anointing never runs out. He is looking for some to bless.

    GOD SETTLED IT

    Numbers 23:19-22

"God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do?

Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

    Behold, I have received a command to bless;

He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

    SETTLED, MARRIAGE AND ENTERTAINER

When I think about things that are settled, I think about music that has been recorded and performed by amazing artist. I was first anchored in Michael Jackson’s music growing up as a little boy. We
