I would like to thank Jane Hatton for introducing me to Aromatherapy many years ago; it has truly blessed my life. I would also like to thank all of my wonderful students (you know who you are) for making my career such an amazing one. My Colleagues and mentors along the way, far too many to mention but my personal development and educational journey would never have happened without them. Debra and Jim Atherton for allowing me to join them for my first visit to Provence. Jonathan Hinde and Malte Hozzel from Oshadhi essential oils. Bob Harris, Rhiannon Harris Lewis for the aromatic adventures. Angela Mahandru and Choice Health magazine for encouraging my writing. My business partner Bernie Mulligan for her absolute belief in me.
Most of all I would like to thank my wonderful parents Brian and Joan Wilson for their love and endless support and my partner Mohammed Dad.
Dedicated to
Scarlett and Tommy-Lee, everything I do is for you.

My Mother had a wealth of knowledge about plants and wild life and my interest continued with the urban safaris she took me and my friends on through the suburbs of Manchester finding nature amongst the flag stones and deserted stretches of land. She turned our walks into botany lessons and magical adventures where we would return with pussy willow, apple blossom and frogs spawn. I grew passionate about wild flowers, which I studied intently and knew all their Latin names. It was a strange pastime for a young Girl.
I guess that my inspiration came from those early days, but it wasn’t
