Preface
28892.jpgThis booklet was not conceived with a motive or intent to appease, antagonize, or charm. It was written for the specific purpose of alerting denominative Muslims to a variety of self-inflicted injuries that have emanated from the ineptness to effectively address those obtrusive impediments that have progressively eroded the spiritual affinity once shared by Muslims.
Truth stands clear from falsehood; it is never hidden from men and women who seek it diligently and does not confuse. Too many citizens of Islamic persuasions have been misled, stupefied, and demoralized by people that are skilful at utilizing distortion and contradictory interpolations to gain a significant degree of control over the general thoughts and attitude of the weak-minded.
With this in mind, it is important to remember that ideas which are at variance with the natural trend of life does not become embryonic factors unless they first appeal to the mind as passable, inspirational or creditable; and the only way erosive ideas can be neutralized is to have them exposed to the full translucent light of Truth.
Whenever self-purification is undertaken as a genuine aspiration, self-criticism becomes a necessary an essential procedure that must be applied. To be easily stirred into negative actions by negative criticisms, is an infantile conduct and characteristic that does nothing to support elevating the name Muslim.
With this in mind, my prayer, hope, and desire is that by challenging some of the conventional ideas and applications that are currently utilized amongst Muslims in general, a wholesome measure of constructive dialogue / debate might transpire, which may lead to the realization that the most effectively dangerous enemy they will ever encounter in reality is none other than themselves; and that all the rudimentary differences that are now keeping them apart, can be approached and judiciously resolved in the true spirit of the unique and unparalleled religion—Al-Islam (The Submission)—The Straight Way

Acknowledgements
28917.jpgI would firstly like to publically express my unending gratitude to The God of Abraham—Allah, for the immeasurable assistance that was made available for me in preparing this publication—from the initial conception to its eventual completion.
I would also like to express my thanks to friends and former colleagues for their direct and indirect contribution.
My special thanks however, must be conveyed to brother Abu Khalil Damish Medley for his invaluable endorsement and general support.
Needless to say without the tendency of my beloved wife and daughter to patiently persevere with my sometimes impetuous and pensive demeanour, this book would certainly not have culminated in the way that it did.
May Allah continue to bless and guide us to collectively understand more thoroughly the higher purpose for which now exist.
Introduction
28919.jpgExtensively acknowledged with a favourable degree of certainty among all peoples of this earth is the concept that recognizes Fear
as one of the main components that form an integral part of the instinctive programming in mankind and indeed every living being.
Fear is defined by Virtue’s English Dictionary as: a painful emotion excited by an expectation of evil or the apprehension of impending danger; anxiety; solitude; awe and reverence for The God and His Laws
.
The magnitude of control fear is able to command over thoughts and feelings can occasionally be completely overwhelming. It has the power to completely shut down all other impulses that derive from the mind, leaving us trapped in the narrow confines of what we consent to as our accepted norm. It is also renowned as the singularly most impressive reminder to mortals of the delicate and vulnerable position they occupy in nature.
Paradoxically however, without fear, mankind tends to be sanctimonious and lawless; yet, commonly found at the root of all acts that lead to self-destruction, is fear.
There are many circumstances or events in our daily existence, through which an exhibition of acknowledged and conceal fears are spontaneously activated.
Of the following are entities and situations that are capable of generating such uncontrollable feelings of fear in us and can at times cause us to instantaneously abandon the agency of reason.
In general, people are afraid of violence, pain, ghost, people, failure, success, loss, isolation, loneliness, involvement, rejection, commitment, sickness, deprivation, inadequacy, emotion, knowledge, death, responsibility, punishment, damnation, open spaces, water, heights, cats, snakes, germs, spiders, changes, strangers and various other objects and circumstances.
There is however, a particular group of people who are so overwhelmed by fear, that subsist afraid to confront their fears or to show them. Consequently, they are unable to voluntarily step into the darkness of their inner selves to seek a light that may guide to their higher self. Such people remain hopelessly suspended in a pitiful state of nonsensical existence, and for as long as they continue to be afraid and fail to recognise the fact that they are afraid, they linger like dawdling sheep unable to acknowledge the part they play in the relentless tide of tumult and oppression which have become a crucial aspect of their lives and the lives of many who are as insecure and defenceless as they have become.
There are significant fears that can sometimes prove fatal, as well as trivial inconsequential fears. However, when all our fears are accumulated and categorized, those feelings of uneasiness and anxiety that derive from all trepidation is activated predominantly by Fear of the Unknown
.
Apathy
28921.jpgFrom mankind’s earliest existence and unceasingly throughout the ages, disputes regarding Divinely Disclosed Information which came through prime examples of men have been for many an unwavering source of contention, in spite of the accuracy, consistency or volume of truth they have presented.
Mockery and contempt as we know have always been the exhibits of people who deny the existence of a Supreme Creator, or the acknowledgement of any possible merit in worshipping a single Deity.
Advocates that suggest in every person resides a soul which seeks harmony with nature that must be guarded from dishonesty and perversity, are hastily dismissed by the fervent deniers as naïve or foolish.
To further propose a repetition of cruel and inconsiderate acts deprives the soul of its freedom and jeopardises its independence by weakening its impetus for development, is to be laughingly dismissed as scientifically illiterate and therefore unintelligent.
The irony of being audaciously dismissed by those who personify the characteristics of defiant deniers, is the fact that they are the very people in whose lives anxiety and trepidation remain significantly heightened; and in order to conceal their own fears, they advocate living in the now and filling it with as much pleasurable experiences as they can, to be the only occupation that is worth maintaining. While they continue to seek contentment through self-indulgence, their strength of will to rise above their lower self is gradually weakened to the point where they are eventually escorted by their own cravings to humiliation and disgrace. As their desire for pleasure increase and they become wholly addicted to self-indulgence, turning their thoughts toward death and beyond is an issue that swiftly activate an element of mental paralysis.
Their choice to live a life directed by impetuous
