About this ebook
Bianca L. Patterson
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and at a young age moved to Houston, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, with a bachelor’s of arts degree in journalism, with a minor in creative writing. Just like most young adults, she is experiencing the norms of life: the struggle to stay in school, watching as friends and lovers come and go, and trying to find where she belongs. Although unsure for what’s coming next, she know she is going somewhere that will be worth her while. Get inspired by the small things in the life—the things what we tend to overlook as humans. Life has taught her that the key to finding yourself is easy; just step out of the box that has confined and molded you and watch everything that went wrong go right. Though the past has taken its toll on who she is today, she is looking forward to what the future has on reserve for her.

Somewhere Beyond the Sky
I saw the saying The sky’s the limit
written across someone’s, chest and all I could think was that I feel sorry for the individual and for the people who read the message and believe it. Don’t get me wrong; I am not mad, nor do I blame the individual who promotes a message that limits the mind and soul.
I hate when people tell kids the sky’s the limit
to try to encourage them. It’s as if they don’t think about what they are saying. Just think about it! The sky’s the limit
is like telling someone that they are limited to life. I mean, I know it was all for a good cause; but I hate to tell them they didn’t do such a good job, but kudos to them for trying. I totally get it—the saying was meant to inspire and encourage people to do more, but it was also meant to show that we should not limit ourselves. It is crazy how the word limit
is the last word you speak or read. I think it’s crazy that people actually believe that the sky is the limit.
If that were the case, then where would faith fall in our lives? I believe there is something greater beyond the clouds, because if the sky is as far as I can go, then there is no point in dreaming or having faith because that means I am limited to what I can do and where I can go. It reminds
