Andrew Carter is the most fascinating, charismatic, down-to-earth guy you will ever meet. The son of a funeral director (who came to his father’s aid by helping out with the family business for six years) later became a healer, using his vast life experiences, good and bad, to transform people’s lives through his compassion, understanding, and dedication. Andrew Carter started working with crystals in 1994 and went on to teach workshops and colleges. He gained a teaching certificate for his crystal therapy diploma course. He has been studying the ancient wisdom teachings with the Arcane School for the past sixteen years and is the author of many esoteric books that seek to transform and expand the reader’s consciousness. He is a seat-of-the-pants writer, trusting and receiving insight through the abstract mind. Over the years, he has written and developed many professional healing courses incorporating esoteric studies with the use of crystals, meditation, and hands, preparing a vast network of healers that are comprehensively trained and able to reach out to those in need. Andrew Carter is truly inspirational. He is a family man that is real and true but gives his work, and his part in the divine plan, his utmost dedication.

FOREWORD
By Clare Carter
This book did not come about in the normal way, in fact very little of what Andrew does would be described as normal by the majority of people. To those of you though who are looking for deeper meaning in life and a deeper understanding of their spiritual journey, he may well be the most normal person you have ever met. When I first met Andrew in 2006 it didn’t take long for me to realise that I needed to know what he knew, for the first time ever I had found someone with; a scientific approach to all that exists, an explanation as to why I was feeling the way I did and experiencing the health problems I was at that time, but most of all, that I could actually do something about it.
This book has come about through need, there is a definite lack of substantial information within the mind, body and spirit field at this time, many books will tell you the problems, but not so many the solutions.
Andrew has been healing since 1994 and teaching since 1996, all of the courses we teach have been written predominantly by Andrew, and this has taken up much of his time. It was through his inspirational writing, coupled with his vast therapy and teaching knowledge that this book slowly pieced itself together. The twenty four Soul Reflections in this book were an inspiration in 2010, we have worked with them in therapy with great results to assist in ‘moving’ people towards their path of Destiny and away from the path of fate.
The content of this book works on many levels, one does not necessarily have to understand what they are reading—this may seem like a bizarre concept to many people—however, the words will have an effect upon the consciousness of the reader, and this is what we are dealing with, as consciousness affects our wellbeing. It is also part of the evolution of humanity; the lifting and raising of the consciousness.
Those who truly wish to fulfil their Destiny will be greatly assisted through the regular use of the meditations within this book and the Soul Reflections.
The book is quite different in its approach to overcoming the problems facing us, it is different because it doesn’t seek to overcome them, as that means going there. In fact you do not focus upon them at all, therefore its approach stimulates the higher thinking that we all possess, the next process is then transmutation, which is quite different to overcoming. It seeks to create an enlightened understanding. Through this understanding problems fall away as the mind is then able to rationalise—via the higher mind—a solution (most problems occur through an inability to find a solution).
Hence the book stimulates those aspects of a higher nature, which are the reality of yourself, and the reality of a situation. If you are living without the joy of living then this book will lift you into your own truth, joy then follows. It does not mention all of the problems that many self help books refer to, as identification, even through the printed word, will be a barrier to the mind for the transformation of restrictions and the limitations they place upon us.
Take this book into your heart, read it again and again, and each time you will find something new. Embrace the meditations, let the words sing to you and allow them to uplift you into the joy of life, your path will then truly unfold.
PREFACE
Well I have arrived suddenly at the completion of the book, or so I thought, a slight void has entered until Clare said I should write what the purpose of the book was . . .
As I sat down the first thing that came to me was that it gives the reader an element of discovery, thinking about this—to discover is to find something that you never knew existed or you thought it existed and then you found what you were looking for.
This element gives the person the ability to discover, everyone is aware of the four elements; earth, air, water and fire, but there is a fifth element; ether or spirit. Therefore you could say it gives the reader a ‘spirit of discovery’ and this spirit seeks to know, it pushes the person to want to know more; there is something I need to know, there is a knowledge I need to attain, part of the intention of this book is just that. Through thinking about what is said, a person enters into a spirit of discovery, to then evaluate what they have discovered. I have found that sometimes it is only one sentence that triggers a process from which we start to break through the barriers of consciousness.
We cannot fully understand the journey, but then if we did it wouldn’t be a discovery, so you could say it initiates the reader into a ‘journey of discovery’. It has been this for me, not knowing what was coming next until I sat down to write it, half the book was written before I knew it was to become a book, it has been inspired.
Therefore it has not been edited to the degree a book would normally be edited as it would loose its identity, the book was not written from the intellectual mind, (although the intellectual mind understands all that has been written), therefore it has been a journey of discovery, and isn’t that what Destiny is all about? To create new thoughts, to understand the hidden concepts of the eternal truth. It is a search, a search initially for ones own soul, then for the soul of others and then beyond into the planes of unified consciousness which makes abundantly clear the vastness of being, and the next step becomes a quest as you know it is there but cannot grasp it yet. Life then becomes more abundant when you enter the libraries of life and creativity through the originator of our existence.
So some of the purpose is to stir you into thinking, with all the aspects of the mind becoming more enriched, to find your true pathway in this lifetime. Part of my journey created the necessity to find answers to a serious situation, the situation was not reversed but answers did come in a remarkable way, it was like a door had started to open.
It has become very clear the necessity for innovative thought and ideas that will create a better future. When on a journey such as this there comes the motivating spirit that there is something more we need to know, and when these things start to be discovered, the truth, then we will want to foretell to others through the truth that has come to be present within our inner worlds.
Destiny is another word for the continual pursuit of that which is unknown, to then become known, to then pursue once more as the path of Destiny leads you into ever evolving states of consciousness.
Can your Destiny become your life?
We believe it can
Let your thinking come from the heart
Let your life be grounded in the eternal truth
Then a brief moment will become a life time.
INTRODUCTION
What is our part in destiny?
With Destiny the connection is the future, the time scale can be tomorrow, ten years away, or even another life time. The last two words are important life time, the implication is that a life has a time span, true, but which life? Because it only takes one life time to change the destiny of many life times into one created whole. Destiny relates to bliss and nobody would want to continue their outer world experience without a true sense of their own destiny.
Your destiny is what you are here to do,
so what does that mean?
I think we all agree spiritual livingness is not embraced by a large section of humanity. As we are part of humanity (and your awareness is probably a little more than most people) then we are advancing along the path towards Destiny, but also our Destiny lies within humanity itself.
We cannot escape the fact that our Destiny is part of humanity’s Destiny; although we are individual, we tend to think of Our Destiny or My Destiny as an individual event.
That is not the case as Destiny is related to everybody else,
this gives you a clue as to what it should be . . . .
Looking at who we are and the circumstances of where we are, life is inevitably a challenge. It is not easy to be ourselves or use our creative potential within this world of moral, political and religious dogma and control. Destiny is not on the line of those previously quoted; Destiny is of the soul, is of the spirit, life immortal, life transcendent. You are more than what you are led to believe, it is just you haven’t experienced it yet, or you probably have but not noticed it because we live in this world and are carried along on its wave of noise, activity and energy interactions.
A sense of Destiny is known when the perception of time becomes limitless, which means ‘beyond this life time’ or maybe ‘this life time’, all is possible within the concept of Destiny. Destiny leads to a true reality, an abundance of knowledge and spiritual perception, it leads us into the relationship with the soul. A state of knowing is the consequence, a silent contemplation, an active physical life that is aware of its Destiny.
Knowing who you are, what you are, and where you are going
are prerequisites for our journey towards Destiny.
Destiny descends, the inner mystery unfolds, illumination guides, this is our true identity. Identify yourself with Destiny and it will enter into your life, you will have a true sense of self, able to cope within this world, a world of indifference, a world that seems to have no Destiny. Finding our creativity, the creation of our true selves, our inner peace, the true centre of our inner being and from that centre Destiny can unfold.
Life threads weave an abundance of intricate illusions
that are as darkness to the soul.
From the deep cave of being, light enters, not upon the rock,
Built within the mind of matter.
Upon the distant sounds the soul clings to its anchor.
Upon a world made of sand, far from its distant shores.
The glow of life becomes a magnet for those needing comfort within the heart.
All creation cradled and warmed by the hand of God
Reveal life’s splendour once more, give that which thou hast learnt, sow the seed that will harvest.
All the souls that cry out within this world.
Love is the reason for all that is suffered,
Suffer not through love, you are love, love and live as one.
CHAPTER ONE
TAKE YOUR SELF TO STILLNESS
Let your circumstance allow you to liberate your true self
The human psychology denotes that when presented with a problem the intellect seeks to reason and formulate a way to solve what is confronted and the mind can consume itself to find the answers. To an extent we need to find the answer because we are uncomfortable with what is causing distress. There is a need to relax and say I am happy now that this problem has been resolved
. When thinking about that there are various ways we go about relieving our tension. We take control of the situation and those who are part of it. We go along with what others suggest is the way to resolve the problem.
Both these methods we can relate to the solar plexus—our centre of power for the lower worlds, these being the physical, emotional and intellectual. One method is aggressive and the other is passive. This relates to the ego which is self-centred and seeks to control its world either through aggression or passive meanings. This in the orient is known as the tiger or the monkey.
On the spiritual path we are confronted with similar circumstance—the problem being the environment you are in is probably that which has been developed before you found a new awareness, before you actively pursued the spiritual path; the sensitivity was probably already there, as sensitivity is the clue to spiritual understanding. But at some point the light is switched on, the soul light has penetrated through the veils of illusion and glamour. This light becomes integrated within your auric field; through the aura we find resonance with others that are of a similar resonance. This is where problems occur and those we resonated with before are not part of the new understanding that has been realised.
At this point there is conflict with our environment but also a need to obtain more knowledge. There can be compromise but the search for knowledge becomes all consuming as the heart centre is now opening, unconditional love creates a tension between circumstance and spiritual attainment.
The answer lies with the higher centres, and a greater sense of time and space which will unfold the mystery of spiritual being. There is an esoteric statement We do without doing
.
Let us start with the first two words ‘We do’. What is it that we do? We attempt to achieve the point at the centre of the circle. This symbol represents a state of centeredness with your true self, this is the centre point. The circle represents our auric field and all the levels that exist within it but also your sphere of living. So ‘to do’ is to bring your consciousness to the centre point of your being. From that place, a place of stillness and awareness, the world is seen from a different perspective; it is viewed through the eyes of the soul which observes and from this centre point there is a connection to other
