    DEDICATION

This book is dedicated to Prophet Robert Charles Blakes, Sr.

Thank you for the wisdom you have imparted in me. For teaching me that in all that I do, do it in faith; for even when faith doesn’t make sense it does make miracles.

    Your soul is at rest.

    I love you, Pastor.

    ][

My life is likened to a skyscraper.

I stand tall and fall back.

Faith tells me to fall because God will catch me,

but a lifestyle of faith instructs me to fall

because it is only God who is holding me up.

    Preface

There is one person everyone seems to need—a doctor. If you ever want to know what is going on with your body, your best chance of finding out is to consult a doctor.

There are doctors for backaches, stomachaches, even heartaches. But what happens when the source of your problems is spiritual? Where do you go when your physician can’t help because he can’t see what troubles you? Is there a kind of doctor you can contact in those moments? Is there medicine for when your spirit is under attack and slowly dying, when you notice that everything on the outside is going well, but you still cannot seem to feel joy? Where do you go when things seem to be moving in your favor, but you still feel disturbed and don’t know why? Maybe the doctor you need deals not with the physical but the spiritual. People spend so much energy on eating right, thinking right, and getting things right immediately. What happens when your spirit is not on a strict diet or is out of control? Where is the place your spirit can been seen and attended to?

Just as Nokia cannot fix your iPhone or Honda cannot repair your Bentley, so is it with the spirit. Your cardiologist cannot diagnose the problems associated with your spiritual heart; your eye doctor cannot prescribe a lens for your spirit. You must try the spirit by the Spirit. You must seek what is hidden to the natural eye. Pursue what cannot be caged. It is time for you to know what the Lord says.

God’s Waiting Room is a place where you learn the process of
