Day 2 Acceptance

Acceptance

Accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life guarantees every promise of God for believers. Acceptance is to take or receive something offered; receive the favor of or approval of; walk in agreement; undertake the responsibility, duties or honors; regard as normal; after we repent we can expect or regard as normal the honors, responsibility or duties that are put before you in turning from what God called you from as you ACCEPT where HE is calling you to! As you accept the clearing away of the soil of your hearts so that God can cultivate the soil for HIS harvest—you must ACCEPT the process—the time it will take (patience), the truths God will reveal (what the light of God makes clear) while keeping in focus your purpose & as it was HIS invitation it’s also HIS agenda.

You say Yes! You are Accepted in Christ Jesus

for this—HIS Purpose

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love… to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; . . . abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times… 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth… in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance… unto the praise of his glory Ephesians 1:3-14 (KJV)

Accept the directions, instructions & knowledge

for the Journey from God

GOD’s Message yet again: Go stand at the crossroads and look around. Ask for directions to the old road, the tried and true road. Then take it. Discover the right route for your souls." Jeremiah 6:16a (Msg)

That’s right. Because I, your GOD, have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go. I’m telling you Don’t panic. I’m right here to help you"

Isaiah 41:13 (Msg)

I have taken you from the ends of the earth. I have called you from its farthest parts, and said to you, ‘You are My servant. I have chosen you and have not turned away from you Isaiah 41:9 (NLV)

Grow in grace and understanding of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glory to the Master, now and forever! Yes! 2 Peter 3:18 (Msg)

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 (NAS)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children Hosea 4:6 (NAS)

for the sake of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: 3 Grace, mercy and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4 I was very glad to find some of your children walking in truth, just as we have received commandment to do from the Father 2 John 1:2-4 (NAS)

When you were dead in your transgressions and the un-circumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him Colossians 2:13-15 (NAS)

Day 3 Believer

I believe…

God is The Gardener! I trust HIM to prepare me to be a Glory Bearer;

I believe…

God sees me as I truly am; as HE digs deep in my heart HE reveals who I am, who I am NOT then invites me to proceed on a JOURNEY of love. HE loves me & desires that I fulfill my full purpose.

I believe…

As a believer I must trust every word & STAND on the Power of the Word & the Covenant with faith for a great future abiding with HIM.

I believe…

Worship has its place in every season (on every Journey); Worship requires that my heart & spirit be rooted in the knowledge & obedience of the revealed Word of God (for this JOURNEY) which is how I am victorious in HIM.

I believe…

True worship is my created purpose & is the connection of my heart as a believer with truth.

The WORD for what I believe…

that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God… the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus… through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; 26 for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus Romans 3:19-26

Because I believe… I spend time with HIM…

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8

Because I believe… I Choose to follow God…

I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—firm muscles, strong bones. You’ll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry Isaiah 58:11 (Msg) The Lord will always lead you. He will meet the needs of your soul in the dry times and give strength to your body. You will be like a garden that has enough water, like a well of water that never dries up Isaiah 58:11 (NLV)

Because I believe… won’t question the JOURNEY…

The Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, In turning away from sin and in rest, you will be saved. Your strength will come by being quiet and by trusting" Isaiah 30:15 (NLV)

Because I believe… I Let go (The Stuff—my preferences, my way, my agenda & my FEARS) . . . Temporal for Eternal!!!

Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. 25 In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal. 26 If any of you wants to serve me, then follow me. Then you’ll be where I am, ready to serve at a moment’s notice. The Father will honor and reward anyone who serves me" John 12:24-26 (Msg)

Because I believe… I EXPECT… God to be with me & I trust He knows… I shall not fret or worry for I am among those who WAIT!

Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me escapes the notice of my God? 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the Earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. 29 He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. 30 Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, 31 yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary Isaiah 40:27-31 (NAS)

Day 4 Time

Time limited or eternal, boundless & endless; how are we using ours? Temporal living is limited & perishing, it won’t stand the test of the fire; Eternal living though is boundless & limitless, it means joining God at work with the promise of HIS presence. When will you decide to occupy ourself with that which God is doing now?

Appointed Time recognizes HIS power, provision

& favor for the Time. What time is it?

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—2 A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. 3 A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4 A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. 5 A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. 6 A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. 7 A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. 8 A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace. 9 What profit is there to the worker from that in which he toils? 10 I have seen the task which God has given the sons of men with which to occupy themselves Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 (NAS)

What do you see? What will cause you to REALLY Live?

What’s God going to say to my questions? I’m braced for the worst… I’ll wait… how he’ll answer my complaint. Full of Self, but Soul-Empty 2 And then GOD answered: Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. 3 This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time… But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive" Habakkuk 2:1-4 (Msg)

Self vs. Loyal & Steady (believing & REALLY Alive)

How long will you flit here and there, indecisive? How long before you make up your fickle mind? GOD will create a new thing in this land Jeremiah 33:22 (Msg)

After YOU write what HE says (shows you) . . . expect the rain… HE will bring the abundant harvest. Dear brothers and sisters, you must be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider farmers who eagerly look for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They patiently wait for the precious harvest to ripen James 5:7 (NLT)

Well it is time! No more back & forth—decide today, you are going on this JOURNEY (You don’t need the details but you want more in life). You are ready for HIM to speak—journal & pen ready—PLEASE SPEAK LORD, your servant waits.

Day 5 Resurrection Power

Resurrection Power—is a product of the life lived for the eternal.

Requires death of your flesh—we have to die with Christ if we expect to experience the power of HIS resurrection.

•   Comes with responsibility & accountability—as Christians we are observed by the world! We become responsible for how we represent God. Christ’s resurrection established & confirmed God’s hand of provision & power over the Journey required of Christ. His resurrection confirmed that which was foretold of Christ. When you live a victorious life, fulfilling the Journey written for you, God is glorified in the earth through you as well.

Resurrection Power is product of your relationship

with The Trinity as believers…

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence 2 Peter 1:3 (NAS)

Once God has spoken; twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God Psalms 62:11

I was made right with God by faith in Christ. 10 I want to know Him. I want to have the same power in my life that raised Jesus from the dead. I want to understand and have a share in His sufferings and be like Christ in His death. 11 Then I may be raised up from among the dead Philippians 3:9b

I pray that because of the riches of His shining-greatness, He will make you strong with power in your hearts through the Holy Spirit Ephesians 3:16

Say to God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You" Psalms 66:3.

Therefore we also pray always for you that your God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12that the name of your Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of your God and the Lord Jesus Christ 2 Thessalonians 1:11

BUT you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth Acts 1:8

A final word Be strong with the Lord’s mighty power Ephesians 6:10 (NLT)

Day 6 Forgiven

Remember these things, O Jacob. Take it seriously, Israel, that you’re my servant. I made you, shaped you: You’re my servant. O Israel, I’ll never forget you. 22 I’ve wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There’s nothing left of your sins. Come back to me, come back. I’ve redeemed you. 23 High heavens, sing! GOD has done it. Deep earth, shout! And you mountains, sing! A forest choir of oaks and pines and cedars! GOD has redeemed Jacob. GOD’s glory is on display. Isaiah 44:21-23

I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name 1 John 2:12

It is wonderful to live in relationship with The Father but to be forgiven you must forgive with your whole heart. And yes… Forget it… Let it go…

You prepared room before it, and it took deep root and it filled the land Psalms 80:9 I have seen the foolish taking root (and outwardly prospering) but suddenly I saw that his dwelling was cursed (for his doom was certain)" Job 5:3

Un-forgiveness makes you an Enemy of God

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses Matthew 6:14-15

We looked for peace, but no good came; And for a time of health, and there was trouble Jeremiah 8:15

I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do. 16 Then Samuel said: So why do you ask me, seeing the LORD has departed from you and has become your enemy? 17 And the LORD has done for Himself as He spoke by me. For the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David. 18 Because you did not obey the voice of the LORD 1 Samuel 28:15b-17a

So Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the LORD" 1 Kings 21:20

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up James 4:7-10

Un-forgiveness causes a—Hardened Heart

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him Dan 5:20

O LORD, why have You made us stray from Your ways, And hardened our heart from Your fear? Return for Your servants’ sake, The tribes of Your inheritance Isaiah 63:17

Then his master called him and said to him, You contemptible and wicked attendant! I forgave and cancelled all that [great] debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 And should you not have had pity and mercy on your fellow attendant, as I had pity and mercy on you? 34 And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (the jailers), till he should pay all that he owed. 35 So also My heavenly Father will deal with every one of you if you do not freely forgive your brother from your heart his offenses Matthew 18:32-35

Forgive & Be Forgiven

Un-forgiveness is Sin—God REQUIRES you to let IT go…

So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls. But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. James 1:21-22

How do you get back in relationship with The Trinity… After all you have said, felt & done… He is waiting for you to take HIS hand & join HIM again

And the Lord answered, if you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you say this mulberry tree, be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you (Luke 14:6)

My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. 16 For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually. 17 As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, even to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep My statutes and My ordinances, 18 then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David" 2 Chronicles 7:14-17

Day 7 Under Subjection

•   Exhaustion

•   Boredom

•   Excitement

•   Doubt

•   Questioning of Life & Circumstances…

As you mature in your Christian walk you are accountable for how you respond mentally, physically & emotionally! Your maturity level illustrates who you serve which has a mental, physical & emotional effect on your life. As you take this JOURNEY & the Holy Spirit reveals to you who you are, let your response be to the Lord I follow your directions, abide by your counsel; my life’s an open book before you Psalms 119:168. Since nothing takes God by surprise…
