Angels in Heaven
black.jpgAngels in Heaven are singing tonight because God has taken you home. You’re walking on streets made of pure gold looking at roses when on earth its cold. The sun’s shining brightly night never comes you will not grow older but will forever be young. You will be with childhood friends and be able to run and play with them again.
Grandma and Grandpa will welcome you a lovely young girl will take your hand and you will find yourself with Mother again. On earth I’m crying cause I miss you so. But the angels cant see these tears of mine they see the joy in eyes that once were blind. Angels in Heaven are singing tonight the tree of life blooms in a world that’s right. The tired old body I loved isn’t there any more if I knocked a youth would open the door.
I think of you when I pick up the phone I wonder if you need me and ask why I do not come? Then I remember this can not be cause you’re with the angels so you couldn’t need me. Some day I hope to be with you again I miss having someone I can confide in. I miss the sound of your footsteps coming down the hall but I miss my best friend most of all. Angels in Heaven are singing tonight cause God has taken you home. You’re walking on streets made of pure gold looking at roses when on earth it’s cold. The suns shining brightly night never comes you will not grow older but will forever be young. Angels in Heaven are singing tonight yes Angels are singing tonight.
The healing hand
black.jpgThe healing hand of God is there to help you through all the pain and strife that life may throw at you. I know there’s times the pains so strong that you can’t understand how it’s possible to get on your feet again. A nation cries in horror unable to believe all though it’s there in front of them and easy to see.
We ask the Lord to help us to let us understand and with a loving heart he reaches out a healing hand. Healing hands to pick us up when we fall down a healing hand to dry our tears and take away our frowns.
Strangers worked together trying to save life’s caused by the disaster saw by many eyes. Women searching for their husbands, husbands for their wife’s and many helpful strangers lost their life’s. September 11, 2002 will be a day remembered regardless of what we do. American’s watched in horror that September day some of us stunned speechless not knowing what to say. Then the healing hand of God reached out to lead us through the day’s of grief that followed and told us what to do.
I’d Rather
black.jpgI’d rather live in this world alone, have no place to call my own.
Than be dressed in diamonds and furs, and say for my lord I do not care
I’d rather walk a rocky road, and carry a heavy load
Than have someone do it for me if my soul wasn’t free.
I’d rather lend a helping hand than over look my fellow man
I’d rather praise than turn away from what he offers me today.
I’d rather carry someone’s load help them walk on a rocky road
Than have them do it for me if I couldn’t get them to see
That loving God is the way it’s meant to be.
God’s only Son
black.jpgLast night as the wind blew and the window panes shook
A knock came upon my door.
I opened to a stranger dressed in a robe of white with A face kinder than I’d ever looked upon before.
His eyes were true and honest on his lips were a smile
His hands were all tattered and torn
On his feet were simple sandal’s made of what I do not know
Surely this must have been Gods only Son.
He told me of the beauty that was in the place he d welled
That there were no sorrow or sickness there
That I could go with him if I changed my ways
And asked Gods forgiveness in prayer.
I’m sure I had a visit from Gods Son last night
He took away the darkness and made the night bright.
The wind became a gentle breeze
Before the stranger said good by to me.
I woke up feeling happy with a smile on face
Set down at the table and offered to say grace.
I asked for Gods forgiveness in my prayer last night
The visit from the stranger has made my world right.
A Prayer for Kendra
black.jpgEveryone join together praise the Lord and say a prayer,
a prayer for Kendra although she isn’t there.
This sweet and loving woman is family to us all,
if we pray for her God will answer our call.
A prayer for Kendra I pray every day,
I want you to pray with me these are the words I say.
Dear Lord Kendra has a lot of faith in you,
and in my heart I’m certain she has always remained true.
She’s a loving wife, and mother, a very precious friend
So I ask you from my heart to let us keep her within,
the circle built
