These stories are based on rich Serbian tradition and retold for a modern reader, but dedicated to all children and anyone who has not read them. They are dressed in ancient settings but communicate ideas of good and evil, hope and despair, and courage and humor. These stories are imaginative with deep belief in mystical beings, heroic in nature, and optimistic in the spirit of human beings to endure and overcome daily struggles.
