As the author of over 50 books in two languages, his ultimate mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people for generations to come. When it comes to his best-selling books, he ensures youth have a better future in Saudi Arabia. Dedicated to intellectual pursuits, he attended courses at HavardX, edx, LinkedIn learning, and Masterclass. He also offers his own courses on other platforms. Mohammad’s various achievements and initiatives immediately caught the eye of Forbes Middle East. So far, he is one of the top 100 influential Twitter icons in 2011 and the recipient of the Wagensberg Award in 2019 and the Jeddah Award in 2022. He is also known for his empowering YouTube shows, The Fifth Power and iTek, making him one of the first YouTubers region-wide. Beyond the Middle East, he gave a TedTalk at TEDxJeddah about his learning disability, which was sponsored by HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Salman foundation known as MISK. Dyslexia was the reason teachers and doctors didn’t believe in his abilities. In fact, a doctor once told him that he could never be a writer, and that if he wrote a book, it would be a miracle. However, he overcame their ableism and proved everyone wrong by becoming a world-renowned thought leader and prolific author. At the age of 11, he was armed with the unwavering determination to overcome his dyslexia. Exceeding the teacher's expectations, he started doing well in school, and his father took him to NASA as a reward. This relentless fortitude led to him writing hundreds of articles in local Arabic media and his blog. He also wrote dozens of books in both English and Arabic, some of which are registered in the Library of Congress. Moreover, he received a ranking by the Saudi Social Media Monitor (ELMAM), was awarded 6th place in Saudi Arabia in Writing & Blogging in 2013, and earned various other awards, including The Wagensberg Literary Award for his book Micronations. To this day, he has motivated thousands of people across the globe as a dynamic speaker. These endeavors led to being knighted by King Roman of Lithuania in 2019. One of Mohammad’s most pivotal moments, however, was adapting the Sherlock Holmes Trilogy (the first book he ever read and the character that inspired him to overcome all the odds stacked up against him) into Arabic in a span of seven years. Not only did he pen the trilogy in its entirety, but he also obtained approval from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Estate to license the use of the character as the first Arab to receive this license. Furthermore, Mohammad’s numerous bold initiatives have created a better future for Saudi Arabia and society as a whole. His Arabian Space Initiative promises to send the first Arabic text to the moon and Mars. His social initiatives like Allow Youth allows single men to attend shopping malls and restaurants on weekends, which was prohibited before. Environmentally conscious, he called for a ban on soda cans with a removable cover. He also serves as the President of Space Club and the Vice President of Inventors Club. Currently, Mohammad Bahareth’s central focus is his Dyslexia Awareness initiative (www.Dyslexia.sa). He is advocating for dyslexic people to register with government authorities through medical reports to ensure they obtain optimal disability benefits that enhance and add value to their lives.

At this time, I wish to acknowledge the immense contribution Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Dame Agatha Christie had in the creation of this story. Their insights, cleverness and astuteness gave me the inspiration to write this book.
I also take this opportunity to thank all who worked on the writing and the production of the series entitled, Babylon 5, especially J. M. Straczynski. The same recognition goes to Star Trek-the original series, The New Generation and Deep Space Nine-with special thanks to Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart). Ultimately, I wish to thank the people who have produced the series, Stargate-SG-1, Atlantis and Universe-for providing me with the tools I needed in the creation and development of the characters in this book.
Author’s Comments
These shows, Babylon 5, Star Trek and Stargate, are not just entertainment; they are the essence of our combined cultures. They provide an understanding of nations. They delineate a guideline for the days to come. I feel it is very important for me to tell my readers the impact they had on my life and on creating the story of this book.
Babylon 5 inspired me to make the characters and the story more realistic, and to plan ahead. A small, insignificant event in my story would evolve and inspire me in the decisions I would make, while keeping consistent and in line with these decisions for years to follow. I got an insight on politics, power and how the world works, watching the series on numerous and regular occasions. My attention was particularly drawn to the part showing the audience the path to follow to make changes in the world; the key being in the belief that you can and do the right thing no matter what the cost would be.
Star Trek
The Original Series: I was inspired by the amount of technical terms and the highly creative ideas that were used throughout the series. In fact, I watched it with my younger brother in amazement. I acquired an insight in the kind of culture that created this work of art. I felt very strange when I watched the old movies, trying to understand the minds and purpose of the work executed long ago. I enjoyed Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and his logic. Defensibly, I consider the Star Trek series of historical significance.
The Next Generation: I started watching it when I was six years old. I reveled into following Captain Picard throughout his voyage of understanding humanity and exploring ourselves; explaining anger management to a Klingon (Mr. Worf); explaining human emotion to an android (Mr. Data); and into the journey itself, taking me to a higher understanding of my own being, while lifting my standards and comprehension of life to another dimension.
Deep Space Nine: it began as a show competing with Babylon 5, then it changed direction and explored religious beliefs, war, victims of war, crimes of war, crimes of success, racial disputes, political entanglements, struggles of a leader, and justice. It was an enlightening experience indeed.
Stargate:
SG-1: Watching this series, I learned a lot about team work, trust, and physics. For me, it was a phenomenal experience into an excellent sci-fi series.
Atlantis portrayed our search for our ancestors, in another galaxy, with technologies beyond our grasp and with struggles of daily decisions that could affect everything in the right or wrong way. If you are a leader this is a show you definitely need to watch.
Universe describes the effect of being trapped in a spaceship, not knowing where you are or how to operate the vessel; enemies are everywhere. The chances of success are minimal when faced with unmatched competition-such as Apple, Microsoft, and G.E. The series provided an unparalleled exploration into human behavior under pressure. Constant pressure transforms a lump of coal into a diamond. And constant pressure allows you to penetrate the depth of your mind and to uncover your deepest fears as well as your deepest desires. In turn, it will help you survive and succeed in an unfriendly world. This is something worth exploring, especially when people feel they may not be the right person in the right place in the right time.
These shows helped me create and write this book-thank you to all of those who participated in their production.

COUNTDOWN TO
DOOMSDAY
CHAPTER ONE
THE TIME-MACHINE’S
SECRET
Upon their return to Wellington with Watson and Sarah, Irene and Sherlock decided to buy a little house near the B&B which had come on the market while they were away in London. The two-storey cottage was well appointed, backing up onto the hill of the university and not far from the funicular. It didn’t take long for Irene to decorate and furnish their new home with lovely antique pieces, and a couple of wardrobes, apparently dearly needed.
For his part, Watson had arranged for Sherlock’s time-machine to be self-transported to the university, where it was stored in one of the mechanical engineering department’s huge warehouses, and accessible to both he and Sherlock.
Meanwhile, Doctor Bahareth and Agent Weisberg arranged to have the more worrisome cases of terrorisms forwarded indirectly through Sherlock’s computer. Although quite interested in these new cases, Sherlock’s mind seemed to wander down another path from time to time. The fact that his arch-enemy, Professor Moriarty was alive and well, and roaming New York at an unknown date, bothered him.
Tell me, Watson,
Sherlock asked, during one of their afternoon conversations in the quad, what would happen if I went back to 1891 and have a chat with Professor Wells?
Why would you want to do that?
Watson asked, raising both eyebrows. There is no need for you to bother with time continuum anymore-what’s done is done. You will not be able to undo the past; you know that as well as I do.
Of course, I realized as much after Dr. Bahareth explained what the consequences could be if we were to change what happened at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway. But modifying or redressing this situation was not the reason for which I asked the question.
What then?
If Wells is the one who retrieved the time recorder from the capsule, I would like to know which other dates have been recorded; besides which, I would suggest that the time-machine holds more than one secret.
But, Mr. Holmes, Dr. Bahareth’s team and I have been through the machine, examining its computer systems meticulously before we even attempted to update or network them with Mrs. Holmes’s capsule.
Yes, I can appreciate that, Watson, but you are working with the mind of a computing genius of the 21st century. I, on the other hand, still process all matters of concern with the mind of someone living in the 19th century.
Sherlock filled his pipe with tobacco then, before he went on, And it has occurred to me that although Wells was perhaps the most inventive and knowledgeable man walking the Earth at the time, he still wanted to leave an indelible mark of his life in the 19th century for the generations that would use or discover his machine in the future.
Much like leaving a log or record of his work prior to anyone using the machine, you mean?
Sherlock nodded and lit the pipe. Something of the kind, yes. You see, such as your great-grandfather did in my case, when he recorded all of my work, I believe our Professor Wells must have kept records of his work.
And why would you believe the records be lodged somewhere in the capsule?
Not necessarily in the capsule, Watson, but I am sure they do exist and such as he had a time recorder in the machine itself, he must have logged his processes or work somewhere.
And if not in the time-machine itself, you want to go back to find out where these records are-or were, I should say.
Yes. But, to return to my original query; what would happen if I were to return to 1891?
Probably nothing. If it were only a cursory visit, or a short meeting with the professor, I shouldn’t think there would be anything to worry about.
Sherlock remained pensive for a while before he suggested, Yes, I believe it would be a good idea for me to pay Mr. Wells a visit.
Without turning his face to him, Watson asked, Have you talked to Mrs. Holmes about this?
No, Watson, I haven’t and I don’t think we should. I already know that Mrs. Holmes would not approve of my taking another trip in time.
I know I have said that probably nothing would happen to you in this instance, yet, and all the same, I would not recommend that you go back to 1891.
Watson, if you can not give me a good reason for me not to travel, then I should prepare myself for such an eventuality.
And when would you propose to embark on this venture?
As soon as I have ascertained, with your help, that I can return here in Wellington on the same date and at the same time as I would have left. By doing so, I will not have to evade Mrs. Holmes’s scrutiny.
Yes,
Watson replied, getting up from the bench, But you will have to take into account the four hours or so that it would take you to travel there and back.
Sherlock shot Watson and upward glance and chortled. You know, Watson, my wife is a very astute woman. And even though I will be gone and done literally in no time at all, she will realize that I have been absent from our home for a few hours.
Professor Wells was relaxing in front of the fireplace when he heard a knock at the door. He rose from his chair with a grumble, and went to open it, only to find himself face to face with David Penny-the last person he would want or expect to see at this time. What are you doing here?
the professor asked. I certainly did not expect to see you after you took the time machine once again.
Ha, but, Professor, you have it all wrong. I was not the one who took your darn machine. I had a friend of mine take it to another time and place,
David replied, pushing past the professor. And now, since you are no longer of any use to me or anyone else, it’s time for you to disappear.
What do you mean by disappear,
the professor asked, trotting behind David and following him into the living room. I have no intention of going anywhere anytime soon.
But you should, Professor. Think of all the beautiful things you will encounter during your travels through the universe.
Uncomprehending, the professor lowered himself into his favourite chair, letting David tower over him. Again, sir, I do not intend to travel anywhere at this time. Besides, my time machine, which your friend took unadvisedly…
What do you mean by unadvisedly?
David asked, bending down to splutter the words in the professor’s face.
Shrinking to the back of the chair and gripping the armrests, Wells muttered, I mean it was unadvisable for your friend to take the machine when its equipment has been altered.
Visibly irritated, David grabbed the professor by the shoulders and shook him. I am getting impatient, Mr. Wells. It would be very helpful if you were a little clearer with your explanations. I have no time for riddles.
David let go of the professor’s shoulders, shoving him back into the seat. "I left
