      The highest ranking executive in a company whose main responsibilities include developing and implementing high-level strategies, making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and the corporate operations.

      Is your current career bordering on ‘bankruptcy’—void of the passion, purpose or prosperity you desire? Is your current job on life-support, possibly one management decision away from elimination? Are you currently one of the millions of Americans facing unemployment through no fault of your own—victims of a brutal, unrelenting economy or poor leadership decisions? Have you been thinking that no one’s listening or cares about your workplace woes or personal plights? If you answered ‘YES’ to any of these questions, then, ‘Make God Your CEO’ was written with YOU in mind!

      Once upon a time, not too terribly long ago—I was on a dead-end career path, facing involuntary unemployment for the first time in my career. The uncertainty of how I would help support the basic needs of my family of five kept me up many nights and awakened me before dawn several mornings. Then, GOD gave me THE PLAN to resurrect my career and to help me achieve my life’s dreams!

      I was inspired to write, Make God Your CEO! in a most peculiar way. While driving down a Georgia highway one rainy afternoon, I found myself deep in thought, contemplating my next career move. Suddenly, I spoke the words, If you want to succeed in business, make God your CEO! It seemed I had no thoughts of this statement prior to that very moment.

      Immediately, I turned off my radio and began to openly converse with God. I knew a directive that powerful could only have come from Him. He directed me to recall my most trying and triumphant experiences throughout my career. I remembered how He had coached me through so many difficult challenges on the job. I also recalled how He had shown me favor in so many other work-related situations. I became encouraged when I thought about how loyal and good God had been to me throughout my entire career. His message to each of us is simple, He (God) ‘alone’ is in ultimate control of our careers. He is an out-of-this-world, compassionate, proven leader who is more than capable of successfully guiding us through ANY challenges we may face on or off our respective jobs!

      I’ve discovered throughout my career that every time I’ve put my TOTAL FAITH in God to direct the outcome of my efforts, I have achieved tremendous success, joy and personal fulfillment. Early in my career, I began consciously appointing God as my spiritual CEO through my loving, loyal Life Coach Jesus Christ. God’s ultimate employee handbook—The Holy Bible—has served as a fail-proof guide for my personal and business endeavors for as long as I can remember.

      After being burned a few times via the self-serving politics of workplace peers, I knew that I could not leave the fate of my career exclusively in the hands of man nor woman! National and local news stories reveal the greed-oriented tactics of CEOs from Wall Street to the suspicious business practices of companies near your street. I have turned to God to help me get through many challenging career trials and tribulations. I’ve depended upon Him to protect me from the personal attacks of unscrupulous, self-serving peers. God has a protection plan that’s out of this world! There isn’t a corporate executive on earth that can match His credentials, exceed His accomplishments, master His management style or beat His benefits package.

      Let’s go back for a moment to the day God gave me the awesome assignment to write, Make God Your CEO! I was at a major crossroads in my own career. The security of my job of 8+ years as a Marketing Manager with a Fortune 100 telecommunications company had just been eliminated. Although I had
