About this ebook

Having tried just about every diet since the invention of elasticated trousers, joined every fitness club within strolling distance of the pub, and spent a small countrys GDP on personal trainers, Mitch Webber was somewhat disappointed to find himself fifty years old and technically obese.
With no desire to transform his physique into that of Connan the Barbiturate and without wanting to become a food-bore (one of those people who spend more time investigating the ingredients of a meal than enjoying the company), Mitch decided to see if there was a way to make some tolerable adjustments to his lifestyle in order to get back into reasonable shape.
Just Did It! is the result of those successful efforts.
It is an easy guide to adjusting your lifestyle, a bit, in order to start to lose weight over time. It offers guidance on how to get into running, how to get a good workout down at the park, and how to eat sensibly four days a week in order to be able to enjoy social eating on the weekendsincluding a wee bit of social drinking too.
The book covers
an exercise program,
a program to get you jogging, and
an approach to sensible eating.

Its a programme that you can do. Its a reasonable approach that doesnt require you to become a monk or a self-righteous vegan for the next fifteen years. It understands real life, real people, and the real reason we havent been able to succeed with other dietshuman nature and the attraction of every decent chef and cookery programme on the TV.
So if you have looked sadly at a recent group photo, thinking that it was about time that you took a few steps towards reducing your girth, then this is the book for you. You can do it. It doesnt have to be hell. Just decide to make a difference, buy the book, and get on with it. Just do it!

Lets hope you think the same as Mitch. Take his advice, hes been there, read it, bought it, and most importantly, done it. So get moving, take control of your health, shed some weight, get fit, live life, hopefully a long life, and just do it.

Mitch Webber

Mitch Webber had participated in probably every weight loss fad since the invention of elasticated trousers. None were workable for normal gregarious lifestyles, so they all failed. Finding himself fifty and technically obese, he devised this do-able program and lost 26 lbs. Result! Mitch now takes up a little less space in London.

It’s refreshing to read a simple, easy approach to health, fitness and losing weight. Why? Because it should be. Not just from a trainer or a coach, but from an ordinary guy who has been through it, tried it, tested it, figured it out and done it. A guidebook with simple suggestions, practical information, programmes and ideas for you to implement yourself. Mitch is living proof that it doesn’t need to be difficult or expensive to get fit and shed some fat. All you need is some structure, consistency, and ultimately to move more and eat less crap. Of course we can go into the finer details of exercise physiology and yes there are always exceptions to the rule. This book though is going to work for the majority of 30, 40 or 50 something blokes who have neglected themselves for too long.

The good news is, you can change, you can reverse and undo the last ten or so years as long as you simply take action and get it done.

Having been a health and fitness professional for more than 15 years, working all over the world and running several health and fitness related businesses. I set up Fitcorp Asia in 2003 to innovate and bring new standards to the industry. From sports performance, bootcamps, health retreats, personal training, youth fitness and weight loss challenges to corporate health and wellness. We operate an industry leading gym in Bangkok called Aspire and it’s all about results, education and a community of great people, all driven and motivated to achieve great things in life - and it starts with health.

Great Health leads to success in all other areas of life and business.

‘Just Did It’ is written by a great bloke, giving his two cents worth on how simple losing weight can be - and what finally worked for him. It isn’t rocket science. I’ve known Mitch since 2006 and I gotta tell you, he is a great bloke, tons of humour and always something funny to say to brighten up your day. That humour extends throughout the entire book. I feel like he’s sitting right next to me telling me bed time stories. It will make you chuckle when you read it. Not just because it’s funny but because you’re going to be thinking it’s you! You read and associate what Mitch writes and apply that to yourself.

Actually, Mitch and his lovely wife Vicki used to be clients of mine when they lived in Thailand. I checked back into my history of emails with them when they first started training and attending Bootcamp. I think the first line of one particular email read …I’ve never had my arse kicked over email before… I’m off to get some Häagen-Dazs to help me through it… It made me laugh. I think Mitch has just copied my emails and stuck his name on the cover and made a book of it! I could literally take a screen shot and insert in this page.

No doubt there is still a tub of Häagen-Dazs sitting in the back of the fridge. And for the average Joe, that’s ok. You see balance is key. Mitch emphasizes the important of balance, living your life, indulging, travelling, drinking wine, socialising and entertaining while on your road to fitness, because if there is no fun in life then what’s the point? Right? And it’s absolutely true.

It’s great to see Mitch has finally taken in what we were trying to get through to him all those years ago…that bodyweight-training, consistency, eating well
