About this ebook
Then you meet someone special.. It opens the heart and the mind,
The rest is, as people say, history.

I was born in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, England ,in May 1955. I left school at fifteen with no qualifications. Everything I have done and achieved I have done by myself off my own back. I have a diploma in management. I have done many jobs in my life and met many people along the way. I started working part time when I was thirteen, delivering papers in the morning before school then papers in the evening after school. I have been working ever since. I have been a soldier, window cleaner, security staff, and I have fixed cars, managed garages and workshops, driven buses. I am white, and my wife is a black African, all good life experiences. People who know me, know I tell you “how it is.” Just ask my previous management, they know I am not a yes-man. I have always read and thought I had a book inside me. When I write, I have no control over what trips onto the page; it just happens. Please read and enjoy. If I offend, I am sorry. If you like what you read, be happy and tell your friends. Some of the writings are poems but could easily be songs or prayers. The ramblings are general observations of life and the things the way I see them; take from them all what you will. Finally, I would like to dedicate this book to my wife Thandi, all my family and friends and especially Brenda who was my catalyst.
