For a Poet's Wunderkammer
()
About this ebook
of the objects of our life.
Miniature deserts,
Small chili restaurants,
and inch high roller coasters that
tested our nerve and our poetic lives.
Miniature poetry books in leather bindings
piled in every corner and you closer than my very own heart
Lynn Fullington
I have found the writing of poetry a most stimulating endeavor for over ten years following my retirement from teaching Gifted Students in the New Mexico public schools. I have a Doctorate in Education from Northern Illinois University which was designed to produce educational materials for the public schools including film and text materials both with and for the students Since my retirement I have written five chapbooks which I have designed and illustrated. I have also had poetry published on web zines, most specifically Snakeskin, an English poetry journal edited by George Simmers. This association has been a lively exchange for ten years with some guest editing. I hope there will be some interest in re-considering life’s problems in the context of some of the best literary achievements. If that doesn’t sound too presumptuous.
