God Changes Things: Just Because He Can
()
About this ebook
You have made a conscious decision to surrender all to God, because of the emptiness you somehow were unable to fulfill. For as long as you can remember, your life has been broken, and brokenness can be a variety of things. Abuse, insecurities, despair, sorrow, addictions, and hurt, while in the midst of that brokenness, you heard Gods voice calling your name.
You run to Him, seeking His guidance for new life with purpose, and you do it with joy and gladness; in humility, you vow to serve only Him. Then, somewhere in your walk, religion sets in, and you get distracted. Traditions become your motivation, and greed becomes your inspiration. Your memorized Scripture becomes I come to give you life more abundantly.
The One you vowed to serve has become your servant. Where you once looked for spiritual growth, you now look for power and prosperity. God Changes Things teaches you how to embrace Gods true purpose for your life and helps you to rediscover the true meaning of salvation.
Marvina Bradley
A native of New Jersey Marvina V. Bradley was inspired to write by her childhood friend; the Late Regina Washington Reeves. In 1997, she was introduced to Jesus Christ, and she gave her life to the lord but did not establish a real relationship with Jesus until her move to Pensacola, Florida. This spiritual relationship occurred while under the Leadership of Pastor Ervin McWilson who was not only her Pastor, but her Spiritual Father and Mentor. It was through his leadership that she was taught to study God’s word, and allow it to manifest change. Now under the leadership of her current Pastor, Terron M. Rodgers she teaches others to do the same in Practical Life Academy. She is faithful in her walk with God and takes the term, “disciple” very seriously. It is her passion that new Christians as well as seasoned Christians learn the true meaning of discipleship.

Bio
Foreword
God Changes Things is a book written with as much zeal and passion as the Author herself. In this book Mrs. Bradley’s hunger for God’s word and her passion to see God’s people become aligned with kingdom order is contagious. From the moment she joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in 2009 and I became her Pastor; I was able to see that she embraces the word of God and has the ability to excite the most introverted and quiet believer into being an extraverted bold ambassador for God.
In this book she explores the challenges that most Christians have or will face in this faith journey; Where distractions and church politics can cause the zeal of the believer to diminish. The manner, in which Mrs. Bradley explores these very real stages of the Christian believers walk with Christ, is so real and intriguing that it’s very easy to read this book with excitement; ready to see what the next page has to offer. I personally believe that we can all identify with her as she writes in chapter 1 about how we find ourselves being blessed and somehow losing focus and compromising God for the things of this world. She blew my mind with the harsh real look at the fact that as much as we as believers profess to walk by faith we despise not being in control. She makes it clear that it’s God’s plan for us, and not the plans we thought we had for ourselves.
As God begins to perfect the conversion process in us, it is uncomfortable for us; as Christians to live in a place of exposure. Exposed for who we really are, and Mrs. Bradley sums it up well in chapter 2 when she declares that we would much rather camouflage our lives than to be exposed and deal with who we really are. I believe that everyone who professes to be a believer needs to read this book; so that we first can identify with our brokenness and secondly be reminded that this journey that we are on is a faith walk that requires that we all go through a process.
Mrs. Bradley expresses the need to be stripped which can only occur through true exposure, which opens the doorway to true conversion. As a believer is stripped down; being left with only his thoughts and his heart to deal with; minus all of the earthly treasures and possessions that somehow become that which tries to define who we are, it is at that point where Mrs. Bradley points out that we can truly be changed.
This book is relevant to every believer because at some point in time during our Christian journey we all end up traveling down these same roads to redemption. This is a must read for all believers especially for the ones who want to engage and embrace God in a true and authentic way; that is void of the phoniness that has destroyed the faith of many believes. This book is a tool that refocuses and reminds every believer why we tried God in the first place. Two thumbs up to Mrs. Bradley in the construction of this masterpiece that will change lives for many years to come.

Dedications
This book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; who saved me and blessed me with the ability to hear His voice in these writings. It is because of His grace and mercies that I am a part of His Kingdom. He changed me and saved my soul; for that my life is His to do as He pleases; and my desire is to always be in His will.
To my husband of 30yrs Howard L. Bradley, I want to thank you for your love, encouragement and your never ending patience and understanding these years in attempting to complete this book. It was your believing in me that gave me the courage to keep going. When my faith was low you prayed with me, whenever the feeling of doubt tried to overpower me you prayed for me. And when my strength got weak you pushed me. Thanks for believing in me.
And to all the Christians that are in need of God’s help in changing some things in
