    'Twas the Night Before Christmas: Yet Few People Knew

    Dale M. Zenner

    Dale, and his lovely wife of 33 years, Nancy, reside in a small community in central Minnesota with their faithful Black Lab companion Snickers.  Dale and Nancy have raised three wonderful children: Dayna, Jessica & Derek. As a young man, Dale was a featured vocalist in many local groups, and as his faith deepened, he was drawn to the singing of the gospel through southern gospel music.  In 2005, he formed the southern gospel music ministry known as “Gone Fishin’”, and the group performs at various venues throughout the year. Dale’s passion for writing has translated into original songs for the group; as well as his most recent book, `Twas’ the Night Before Christmas, Yet Few People Knew.  At the suggestion of friend Bob Peters, Dale, along with Nashville music composer/producer Garland Craft, have written the accompanying song by the same name. According to Dale, the Lord has given him an opportunity to share His Love with the world, and to be an example for others to follow.
