Foreword
As we mature and master the art of loving others, we will surprisingly find that love is an act of self-sacrificing beyond personal boundaries. For some people, loneliness may take its toll in an uncompromising relationship and dampen their zest for life.
Meanwhile, some will live vicariously through others instead of living and experiencing life to the fullest.
When all is said and done, my loyal readers, you are worthy of love and all that it embodies.
Come and let’s mentally picture this poetic Compilation of Love!
Live Lovely!

I dedicate the free verse prose, My Calling to my mother, Linda P. Faison. I love and care for you more than you could ever know. Growing up was truly inspirational, but we made it through some tough times. I find it amusing when adolescent and teenagers say I can’t wait until I’m 18
which was one of my famous lines growing up. In retrospect, I’ve matured and I have noted that the mothering of children never ends at age 18. Most importantly, I always pray for you, your happiness, and that the Lord continues to bless you and keep you forever in his embrace.
Your Eldest Daughter,
LaQianya

I dedicate the romantic soliloquy, One Thought of You and lyric poem Mr. Handsome, Come Let’s to Lucille Johnston A.K.A. Grandma & to Dorothy A. Gordon. My respectful elders, Lucille and Dorothy were my first beloved audience and most sincere of cheerleaders.
Lucille was a talented painter, violinist, bee keeper, and retired social worker. Dorothy, in her prime, was an innovative technical engineer, savvy stock market, and bonds investor.
I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to know, love, and share my life with these remarkable women. They encouraged me to be a proficient technical writer and helped me realize my highest potential. Most importantly, they helped me truly understand
