Biblical Keys to Healthy Living
()
About this ebook
The Bible encourages health-enhancing habits, such as eating good diets, exercising rightly, and sleeping adequately. In addition, this book also discusses the effects of anger, music, laughter, church attendance, tattoo, marriage, forgiveness, worry/stress, and personal hygiene on human health. The essence is to draw the readers attention to the need to wake up to their responsibilities if they are to enjoy good health, which the Bible promises.
Although written with Christians in mind, it is equally beneficial to non-Christians since the concern and desire for good health cut across all religious divides.
This book will provide us valuable information and knowledge . . . and will prove to be a handy resource that will keep you away from suffering many things of many physicians.

FOREWORD
Thank God for men with the gift of precise writing. This great book could have been written in a big volume, but the author has condensed much precious information into an easily readable volume.
When God says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge
, He is making a fundamental statement of truth, far too profound for many casual mortals to comprehend. For example, you could be sitting on a pot of gold right now, but unless you receive relevant information and knowledge (skill) you would not know where you are, or what to do.
We need information to survive in this life, but beyond information we also need knowledge on what to do to succeed. And yet more knowledge will be needed to make life a real success. This book will provide us valuable information and knowledge, and guide us into the secrets of how we may live more quality lives, and prolong our days in good vibrant living—naturally. Our bodies were not built to depend on medicines; we missed a key in the bunch of keys for healthy living. I have come to realize that most of the important keys for healthy living are all packaged in the Bible. What the author of this book has done is to glean them out for us, and repackage them into this handy book. I am convinced that the book will prove to be a handy resource that will keep you away from suffering many things of many physicians
As a medical doctor, I am tempted in conclusion to make one or two illustrations:
i) If, for example, out of ignorance, you keep overloading your body system
With too much sugar (in your tea, soft drinks, sweets fruits, etc), you will soon overload the capacity of your sugar regulatory body organ (the pancrease) to handle the overload; you will therefore sooner or later develop diabetes, which is a killer-disease, or at best a life-shortening ailment.
ii) Do you know what modern medicine has discovered? Endorphins are valuable body chemicals secreted from the pituitary organ of your brain during laughter or exercise, and do you know something? They have a morphia-like exhilarating effect on the mind, they soothe pains, they help to heal arthritis, and perform many other wonderful things for your body. But God had said so much earlier in Proverb 17:22 that A joyful spirit doeth good like medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Go through this great book loaded with precious information,
