About this ebook

This book is an inspirational about the understanding of the world religious Scriptures. The terms that commonly understood by all the religious sects especially the Bible, the Quran, Hindu and Buddhist Scriptures. World leaders always talk about peace and unity but it can be acquired only by understanding the will and the testament of God to His creatures. By reading this we will witness the hidden truth ourselves, then the choice is ours to make.
This Book is dedicated to the citizens of the worlds six continents.
The world is filled with confusion, turmoil, uprisings, revolutions and war without end. It is high time we found out what was wrong, and got a solution to all these problems. Looking closely, it is evident that at the centre of our mishaps is our confusion about our own faith in the Lord, which is the first and precious thing in the life of mankind. Coming together under one umbrella of belief will help us seek the truth about God, what are the real commandments, the truth about Jesus Christ and what he said, especially tangible proofs from the Scriptures, and which religion is the true religion of God for mankind and how we split into sects? What is the real story of St. Paul, Constantine the Prince of Byzantine, who is the founder of Christianity, what is Islam? Who is Muhammad? And what proves him to be a Prophet from God? I think every individual needs to know these things to make their own choices.

    PROLOGUE

I begin with the BASMALAH (In the Name of God, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful).

I invoked God to guide me to His true religion, and I set out doing just that. However, to be able to reach my destination, I decided to divide myself into two of the largest families of the world, a part as a Muslim and the other as a Christian. When I follow my Islamic family to the Mosque, we worship God called Allah by prostration. At Church with my Christian family, we worship the same God but this time it is an incarnation or God in three persons, God the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Ghost, together called TRINITY. Here I was with two families who followed different religious faiths but worshipped the same God. I got confused and that made me struggle in the search of the real truth. I believed there had to be a mistake somewhere and one of these religions should be right one while the others must be in vain. I started reading lots of Islamic and Christian books among them the Holy Bible and the Glorious Qur’an. I watched religious preaching and debates, and I listened to them carefully on Islam channel, Peace T.V. and other channels. I enjoyed a lot and I acquired some of the information I needed from the Bible and the Qur’an through preaching and debates of Dr. Zakir Naik and the late Mr. Ahmed Deedat (May he rest in perfect peace), scholars of the Bible, the Qur’an, Hindu Scriptures, Buddhist Scriptures and more. Whenever I listened to their programs, I write down important topics, chapters and their verses, then in my free time, I study them. I continued doing that until I began to understand the divergences of the Church and the Bible.

In my Islamic home, what is written in the Qur’an is respected by the Muslims and nothing is hidden. I discovered that, the real voice of Jesus in the Bible corresponded exactly with what the Qur’an says while Christians adopted different dogma not corresponding to the commandments of the Bible. Whenever I study the Bible, I see a Prophet who will be sent by God, and according to Christians, this Prophet is Jesus. However, in my studies and researches, this Prophet was not Jesus according to the explanation of the Bible itself. I saw this Prophet to be Muhammad and so I decided to make my own research without asking Church elders or Islamic Imams. I wanted to be sure before confronting them to know more. I understood that Jesus was the Prophet of God sent to the house of Israel. But the Christians took him as universal and even gave him a title above that. Muslims agreed with the Bible and said, the Qur’an taught them Jesus was a Prophet of God. They believed in Jesus and other Prophets as well, and that Muhammad is the last and the final Messenger of God (Allah) who succeeded Jesus. Other Prophets were sent for their nations but Muhammad was sent for all of mankind. Why then was Muhammad not mentioned in the Bible, Christians asked. Muslims said it was mentioned in the original manuscript but was corrupted by men of authority. This matter, in my opinion needed a correct Judge or an honest Police officer, who would investigate into matters carefully before jumping into conclusion.

    1

    COMMON TERM OF THE BIBLE

    AND THE QUR’AN

In a bid to differentiate between God’s true words and those of human philosophy, I undertook the study of the two sides of the same coin. The Muslim side and the Christian side. To be sincere, Muslims believe that, Christians follow human philosophy and are not rightly guided. They believe in the fact that Jesus was the word of God, but that he was sent only as a prophet. Consequently, Jesus, in the Muslim quarters, was a Muslim and not a Christian. This is interesting. To Christians also, Muhammad and Islam are not welcome for the fact that, Muhammad was taken as a philosopher who claimed prophet hood. They see Jesus as the last Prophet because he said:

(I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me) John 14:6.

In that case, any man who claimed to be a Prophet after Jesus was not accepted in Christendom. Researching into both sides, I see these divergences quite fascinating. The situation, in my opinion bears resemblance to that of a police officer, who before critical investigations, concludes blindly on the fate of an innocent man, who was drawing his attention to the criminal activities of another police officer. I took the position of an officer, who had decided to investigate into two important manuals, the Bible and the Qur’an. Taking this position, I had major points leading me to the final decision.

And what are these major points? They are the chapters and verses in both the Bible and the Qur’an. In the Bible I discovered tangible verses which quite clearly, were from God. But others, on the other hand, appeared contradictory. And I reject contradiction because God is not an author of confusion but of peace. These verses of the Bible and the Qur’an are written bellow:

Mathew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, but to fulfill. V. 17 For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. V. 5:18

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. V. 5:19

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord:

Mark 12:29 the first of all commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.

These verses are unbreakable commandments, and direct towards the unity of worship of One God. But if anyone is brave enough to challenge the oneness of God and introduces a direction that suits him, through jotting and titling of the word of God, I think he has damaged himself and never understood the real voice of the Bible.

Another statement by Jesus to nail and seal the commandment of men forever is:

Mathew 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his Lord.

John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord; neither he, that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Lots of other chapters and verses must be added later to give a better insight into the concept of monotheism. For the mean time however, I will use the above verses as a guide towards that destination. Exploring the verses of the Qur’an on this subject, it becomes evidently clear that the commandments mentioned in the Bible are confirmed in the Qur’an. Some of these quotations are as follows:

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say (O Muhammad (PBUH)) He is Allah, the One and Only.

Allah the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drink). (Eternal and Absolute)

He begets not, nor was He begotten.

And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. Qur’an: 112:1-4 Sura Al-Ikhlas (The Purity)

    Qur’an: 59:22-24; Sura Al-Hashr (The Gathering)

    22. He is Allah, beside Whom (none has the right to be worshiped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

    23. He is Allah, beside Whom (none has the right to be worshiped but He), the King, the Holy, the One free from all defects (the Peace), the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.

    24. He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names i.e. the Most Beautiful Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

    Qur’an: 33:40 Sura Al-Ahzab (The Confederates)

    40. Muhammad (PBUH) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the messenger of Allah and the last (the end or the seal) of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever All-Aware of everything.

    Qur’an: 18:110 Sura Al-Kahf (The Cave)

    110. Say (O Muhammad (PBUH)): I am only a man like you. It has been revealed to Me that your (God) is One (God—i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.

Qur’an: 73:9 Sura Al-Muzzammil (The One wrapped in Garment)

    9. (He Alone is) the Lord of the east and the west; (none has the right to be worshiped but He). So take Him Alone as Wakil (Disposer of your affairs).

    15. Verily, We have sent to you (O men) a Messenger (Muhammad (PBUH)) to be a witness over you, as We did send a Messenger Musa (Moses) to Fir’aun (Pharaoh).

This sounds really intriguing. These are verses in both scriptures, written in very simple language, denouncing polytheism and preaching oneness of God. They should easily guide anybody to the truth, the way and the life as mentioned by Jesus in John 14:6.

In my flight from changing the words and commandments of God as Jesus warned in Mathew 5:18, I decided to entitle my book ABOVE THE LAW 360. This means that, no man has the authority to rephrase the word of God or change anything whatsoever to suit their whims and caprices.

Now let me proceed with my work since on the Day of Judgment, everybody will be judged according to their own deeds and no person will carry the burdens of another. As said in the Book of Ezekiel 18:20

On that day, every man will have himself to blame if it becomes clear that, the path he followed was not that of God. On that day, if Christians are the victors, then Muslims, Jews and others must have worshipped in vain. If the Jews are the winners, then, Christians, Muslims, Hindus and the rest, must be losers. If Hinduism is the religion of God, then, others must be called, the least in the kingdom of heaven. But if Islam is the true religion of God, then, God knows best. Let us keep praying to God, to show us His way, and guide us to His Light.

In an expedition to find a lost treasure, we might divide ourselves into many groups. However, only one group will be lucky enough to discover this lost treasure and for that matter, will be the winners and the search of others would have been futile. Anyone, from the various groups, who leaves their group and joins the group that turns out to be victorious, in the course of the search, automatically, shares in the spoils of the win. How will someone be sure of being on the right side? Logically, the answer will be to go back and start from the beginning just as when someone loses count, they must start afresh and keep their concentration for assurance. If we want to know the truth about the religion of God, I think we need to go back to the original Hebrew Manuscripts and study them with full concentration. That is certainly the best way to be sure of where we are headed, instead of being doubtful and risk following Jesus in vain. This is the reason why I divided myself into two sects. Learning both the Qur’an and the Bible to be an honest judge and not to criticize blindly just because of what others do. I don’t want to be amongst those who condemn others without understanding their point of view.

This law, the commandments of God, and the above scenario, became my guide.

Starting with my Christian side, I began with the Catholic Church, who were the founding fathers of Christianity and are our lovely fathers and sisters with a complete faith.

I hoped therefore that all the good information about the true religion of God would be easily found therein.

I joined the Catholic fold full of confidence and humility. While a Catholic, I came across doctrines and practices that contradicted the position of the servant before his master. The true meaning and understanding of Mathew 10:24 and John 13:16 appeared to have been wiped out, with the ideas of men reigning above their master and Creator. Images of Jesus, Mary and the Cross seemed to be taking me back to Paganism, the days of old. These supposed representations of holiness and human ideologies did not follow the good spirit of the Bible. As a result, I protested, and I joined the Protestants.

The Protestants in the past were a strong group who protested against Roman creed because, they thought the Roman creed violated the law and took their doctrine above the law. Instead of do and teach the law and become great in the kingdom of heaven, the law was broken. They introduced paganism, and commanded the worshipping of the Sun and idols in the names of Mary and Jesus. The Protestants understood, it wasn’t proper to worship idols and decided to liberate their lost cousins. This was the cause of their protest, as they fought for their right to worship the true Supreme Being. The Protestants had an upper hand as they were supported by men of authority. They discarded seven books of the Catholic DOUAY which originally consisted of 73 books, to form the KING JAMES VERSION (K.J.V).

This was later revised into the REVISED STANDARD VERSION (R.S.V) and then the AUTHORIZED VERSION (A.V). I joined the Protestants holding the commandments firm against my chest, believing that I had found the truth. Unfortunately, I wasn’t satisfied with their teachings. The foundation of their creed was TRINITY, violating Deuteronomy 6:4 and 5:7-9, Mark 12:29 and Exodus 20:3-5.

The Protestants were right in protesting against Roman Catholics, but they failed in their quest for the true path. And since I was not ready to be amongst those who follow the commandments and the teachings of men which would automatically lead to nothing but vain and destruction, I joined the cult of JEHOVAH WITNESS. I was more confident in joining them than the other sects because of their belief in the oneness of God. I realised they forbade images, respected the true spirit of the Bible and made God above any other thing or person and fulfilled the statements of Exodus 20:3-5, Deut. 5:7-9, Deuteronomy 6:4 and Mark 12:29. I trusted them and labelled them the true Christians and said to myself: other sects of Christianity are in vain. Whiles in their midst, I continued my studies to deepen my understanding and improve my faith because I wanted to be sure I was not mistaken. The next step was to learn more about the name Jehovah; its meaning, from where it originated and why it wasn’t mentioned in the 27 books of the New Testament. I started having doubts about why this name wasn’t clearly mentioned in the Bible. This was too odd to be left at that, so I decided to find out for myself.

I was referred by a brother of mine, Basher Ambassador, to a research made by the rather popular Ahmed Deedat about the name JEHOVA. Interestingly, paying close attention to the name revealed the fusion of two words; YA and HUWA, both present in the Arabic and Hebrew dictionaries.

YA, in both languages, refer to the English word OH, used to draw attention and normally precedes a name. HUWA, on the other hand meant HE.

Consequently, it means the phrase OH HE was deduced from the Eastern language version of YA HUWA. According to Deedat, this call was directed to God by Christians. This rather simplistic reference to God, in my humble opinion lacked reverence for the Most High God. It’s not even in the slightest way of showing respect to one’s father, let alone the Creator of the universe. In Hebrew, the best way to refer to God is Ya Huwa Eli, while it is Ya Huwa Allah in Arabic. The Arabic Allah and the Hebrew Eli refer to the same God of Abraham. Gaining this rare insight, my research directed me towards another path, which yielded me more a positive result. In the book of Psalm 83:18, it is written Jehovah, art the Most High, and this means OH He, the Most High, which, despite the absence of the word God, would be the right way and not Jehovah (Yahuwa) alone. In the Qur’an 2:255 Baqarah, (Wa Huwal Aliyul—Azim) which means, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.

To erase all remaining doubts, I joined the Muslim fraternity; still clinging to the guidance I had from the onset. The very first thing I was impressed with was their way of greeting. When they meet, one group prays for the other and says Assalam Alaikum (Peace Be Upon You), while the other group says Wa Alaikum Salam (And Peace Be Upon You Too). This is a brotherly show of love by seeking the peace of God upon each other. This was what I expected to hear in my Christian home because it was the greeting Jesus used in the Gospel of Luke 24:36: Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, peace be unto you. After these greetings,
