About this ebook

A mothers biological experience of birth overwhelmingly captures every ounce of her physical being and has drawn endless cultural attention as a cataclysmic event. The actual moments of birth are indeed spectacular and amazing - a miraculous event that reflects the Heart of God. But surprisingly this sensorial transaction accounts for perhaps one tenth of what is actually packed into this small window of time. The remaining ninety percent of this phenomenal wonder occurs in a world unseen by our human eyes. There is a supernatural process of radiant creativity in operation that goes back to the beginning of time and forward to the end of time. Birth, the biological moment of transition, merely connects the small tangible piece of the flesh to the bigger pieces of a supernatural journey which is stunning and amazing, because Yahweh God is an absolute genius at doing life.

As a believer in Yeshua the authors journey to fulfill her destiny has led her down an exquisite path of discovery into this unseen world. Working as a Midwife for the last 50 years has taught her to live life, not from this small, tangible, temporary world, but from the magnificent spirit world that encompasses it and lasts forever. The true stories in this first book have focused on redeeming the gift of Kairos moments for Gods Kingdom, and a tiny bit of how angelic forces help us do that in the midst of a world of darkness.

This book is not about birth or midwifery. It is a collection of stories that demonstrate the faithfulness of Yahweh God, the designer of birth, and the author of its supernatural dimensions, who engages intimately with earth to touch our every need. It is His story written through the lives of His people.

    Introduction

    The Hourglass

On Earth, man must work to make a living in order to exist.

In Heaven man exists to live. Yahweh

What thoughts come to mind with the word Eternity? Although very real, it is mystifying because it eclipses man’s finite mind and transcends our mortality. The Greek mindset attempts a flat dimensional definition using terms like timeless; before time was and extending beyond the end of time; a duration without beginning or end. But we still remain devoid of the multi-dimensional experience with which to frame this concept. In simple terms, it is thought of as an infinite, timeless state of non-existence that one enters at death, and marks the end of life. This satisfies the mind’s thirst for knowledge, but it gives us no real revelation of its nature.

Now, what images come to mind with the word Heaven? A broad variety of brush strokes paint this picture as some form of ethereal place where all good people go after death. A God of some sort is probably there, along with some angels, harps and clouds, but it only concerns those who are dead or about to die, it certainly does not matter to the living.

Tragically, these boring fantasies have sent many misguided souls to hell unnecessarily, completely missing their intended destiny. With truth and certainty, be assured that Heaven is an amazing country which houses the complete fullness of Life where real living begins. It altogether outstrips our earthly experiences.

Eternity is undeniably timeless and infinite. It is, however, a state of permanence, an active state of genuine existence—it is NOT the end of man’s existence.

Heaven is, by necessity and design, a fundamental and indispensable part of this planetary world. It is the sole source of all sustenance for our universe. The third Heaven—where The Holy Trinity abides—serves as the womb wrapped around the second and first heavens. Earth is simply suspended inside the this supernatural realm of the spirit, not separate at all. Life on earth is merely a compelling extension of that perfect Kingdom. Heaven is like the miraculous but invisible web, and earth is the simple spider scampering about. Heaven is My Throne and Earth is the footstool of My feet. [Acts 7:49] This is why our choices matter so much—we are either ‘slaves of darkness or servants of the Most High God—non-optional, there are just no other alternatives. Which ever realm we choose to serve will determine which one we spend eternity in.

God is wholly an UnCreated Being who contains and inhabits Eternity. Everything inside and outside of Heaven has been conceived by Him with a purpose, design and destiny. His story is urgently important to understand because it involves forever. It is so incredible, wonderful, and brilliant that it borders on science fiction, almost too good to be true, except that it is absolutely TRUE. Living life from that place is meant to be an awesome adventure, a risky undertaking.

This book was inspired by life lived in the crossfire between the natural and the supernatural realms—His idea of bringing down the Kingdom of Heaven into the earth.

This book is about birth, but more importantly it is about God, His spiral staircase, and His zealous desire to help His children fulfill their destiny and embrace all that He has prepared for them. It is an exciting expedition that just happens to occur in the lives of two midwives.

These stories are presented as tiny portraits of the Heart of Yahweh, our beloved Father, and hopefully will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart. I am expectant that the itsy-bitsy glimpses into the heavenlies will inspire your faith in Him.

All the stories in this book are true with names, times and places obscured to protect personal integrity. All the descriptions and spiritual encounters with heaven, hell, angels and demons are also true, first hand escapades experienced either by me or other frequent fliers who visit the heavenly realm regularly. They are from several different points of view and have been woven together to create a feather-light exploration of various, specific concepts. They are shared in hopes of stirring up curiosity, expanding your vision and wonder, and awakening a hunger for the things unseen that can impact the birth of each new spirit-vessel exponentially.

This is the Midwife’s Heritage, one that brings Glory to God our Father and brings us closer to the Father that is our God.

I would like to set forth three foundational concepts to create a stage on which the dramas are performed, and to build a structure to house these actual accounts. Heaps more could be written about the many chronicles, but I have focused on the part of each story where Heaven and Earth intersect to impact the destinies of His children.

Imagination is the key—an endowment from the Father to bridge the gap between our mind and spirit, the physical world and the mysterious and miraculous world of the supernatural. So come along with me as I create a mental image of an hourglass, to perhaps bring to life ideas that cannot be fully illuminated within our limited English language.

The distinctive flow of Man’s design begins in Heaven, at the fullest point of this hourglass—the top of the funnel, the fullness of the Celestial Kingdom, our native land.

    The Inheritance

Outside our mortal scope of understanding is another multi-dimensional life, more irrefutable and certain than anything we can imagine. If you know God, The Uncreated One, the Magnificent Creator of all Heaven and Earth—Yahweh is His Name—and you have been adopted into His eternal family by the incomprehensible sacrifice of His precious Son Yeshua, Jesus, then there is an incredible adventure waiting for you when you finish your pilgrimage here on this planet. Heaven is so wild and exciting it exceeds our ingenuity and teeters on the edge of fantasy, while being absolute and genuine in its existence. Yeshua said to His followers, You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world… where I go you can not follow, but I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am you may be also.

Heaven is immeasurably lavish and eminently complex, with an amassed level of creativity unknown to our primary universe. Scripture and eye witness accounts agree: it is a boundless country with a rapturous quixotic City in its center. In the middle of that City is a Crystal Cathedral which encircles the splendiferous Throne Room of Yahweh.

Heaven is a supernatural place filled with kaleidoscopic, supernatural beings, marvelous in their design, a plethora of mysterious and curious creatures and endless things of exquisite artistry, all created to magnify and glorify the pure holiness and love of the Father—love like you’ve never felt in your life.

I challenge your flowing imagination to expand itself to the edges of eternity with me and attempt to wrap itself around this astounding country. It is extraordinary in its fascination, wondrous in its captivation, marvelous in its adventures. It is intense and breath-taking, vibrant beyond description, overflowing with joy and delight, filled with elegance and illumination far beyond your wildest speculations, with sights, sounds, tastes, colors and senses never seen or experienced on this side of Heaven.

Everything is alive and everything has a voice—be it rocks, animals, flowers, trees or clouds. Living Water sings as it gushes through rivers, streams, and ponds, streaming from waterfalls filled with diamonds and gemstones. It bubbles forth from sculptured fountains, tiers high, inlaid with gold, dispersing worship into the air. There are ambrosial mountains of spices, and oceans of rapture that can be sailed, surfed, fished, or romped in any form of pleasure. There are vineyards, orchards, rose gardens, and secret gardens, lilies and wild flowers that change colors and sing, and talking animals and birds abound everywhere.

As we continue on you will see unusual mansions filled with wonder, amusement parks with giant roller coasters, millions of gorgeous horses, live movie theaters, remarkable restaurants, curious malls, unending rapture to fill eternity. The Father is pure love. His nature is to lavish us with His love and whatever you have loved and enjoyed here on earth is only a shadow of the perfect experience waiting in heaven, because it existed there first.

The dynamic Royal Throne Room is a living organism, unfurling miles wide to hold everyone that comes. It is alive with pageantry and drama, majesty and splendor. Everyone and everything dances—every kind of dance that has ever existed—spiritual beings and people alike. The Thrones of the Kings and Elders sit encompassed by great bows of gold, royal purple, sapphire blue and teal green which move and breathe, blending and flowing into dazzling arrays of multi-variegated hues, which in turn reflect off the diamond filled crystal sea and the transparent gold ceiling above, overflowing the atmosphere with swirling extravagance. The effervescent River of Life flows out from under the Father’s Throne and fills eternity, nourishing all.

There is a timeline embedded in the floor that extends from the beginning of time until its end, marking history as it occurs. There are rooms filled with holograms of the entire history of the earth, where every biblical story can be watched in full-length, three-dimensional effect. There is a Creation lab, a pristine Banquet Hall, libraries, schools of higher learning, portals and balconies where patriarchs, saints, families and friends watch happenings as they occur on earth; the list is endless, just like eternity.

The Scriptures declare the Father’s plan, how the earth is made in the image of Heaven as a place to host His presence, we are made in the image of Yahweh, vessels to contain His Spirit, and the church is made in the image of the Throne Room where God inhabits the praises of His people. Everything on Earth is a mere shadow of the perfect in paradise because every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us ‘birth’ through the word of truth that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all He created.

    The Ancient of Days

As incredible as all this sounds, we have not yet reached the fullness of this visual hourglass. Everything that exists has been created by the Father, but He Himself goes far beyond anything He has created. Surprisingly, Heaven is not eternity, and someday there will be a new Heaven and Earth. Eternity is yet another country which exists inside of God. Behold, Heaven and the Heaven of Heavens cannot contain You. [2 Chron. 6:18] These heavens do not house Him—He houses them.

Everything He has conceived was originally part of who He is, His Being, it already existed inside of Him. He took parts of Himself and gave birth to everything created and He did this with sound, vibrations, and words.

This pre-eminent Being has a visible form but does not have a body of flesh as we do. He is filled with radiant Light and astounding Power. You can see right through Him into Eternity. Eye witness accounts have described how Yeshua and Holy Spirit can stand up and walk inside of the Father, which is how the Godhead can exist as three IN one.

We all came from inside the Father. He does not have internal organs of any kind but inside of Him are billions and billions of tiny ‘spirits,’ like fireflies, that ride in and out on the rays of His glory. God is full of LIGHT, and our human spirit beings are made from this very Light.

    Let’s trace this through scripture:

Yahweh has declared that He is the God of the spirits of all mankind, [Numbers 16:22] and He is the Father of our spirits. [Hebrews 12:9].

Jeremiah 1:15 continues, Before I formed you in the belly, ‘I KNEW’ you, and, I knew you BEFORE you began to breathe and I wrote every day of your life in a book before you were born.[Psalm 139:16]

The physician Luke declares for IN Him we live and move and have our being, for we are also His OFFSPRING.[Acts 17:28]

The Apostle Paul explains even before He made us He loved us, and He chose us IN Him before the foundations of the world, [Ephesians 1:4] and Your spirit is alive because of Christ. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Yeshua from the dead is living IN you, He… will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, Who lives IN you.[Romans 8:11]

Again he explains, "Out of His glorious riches He strengthens you with power through His Spirit that He placed in your inner being."[Ephesians 3:16]

The Prophet Isaiah repeats several times the Father’s declaration, Everyone that is called by My name, whom I have formed, whom I have made, I have created to house My Glory.[Is. 43:7]

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives IN you? [1 Cor. 3:16]

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is IN you, whom you have received from God?" [1 Cor. 6:19] For we are the temple of the living God. [2 Cor. 6:16]

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

    [2 Cor 3.17,18]

He has a burning passion for an eternal family and decided in advance to adopt us, by bringing us back to Himself through Yeshua, which is why His kids bring Him such immense pleasure. John 1:9-13 declares, The true light that gives light to everyone came into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to those that were His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Thus we are fully spiritual beings; it is the essence of who we are, housed in a tangible, physical body to enable us to live on this earth. Job 32:8 declares, It is the ‘spirit’ in a man, the breath of the Almighty that gives him understanding. When Yahweh created Adam, He breathed life out of Himself and the Light of Life inhabited man, making him a living being.

Because we are made from His spirit, we can only encounter Him with that spirit, thus becoming one in that communion. He created our spirits to crave relationship with Him. This is essential for us to come alive and fully respond to Him. In John 4:23-24 Yeshua says, "The time has come when the true, genuine worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and the reality of truth; Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of Him, for the Father is seeking just such people as these for His worshipers. Yahweh is a Spirit Being and those who worship Him must worship Him out of their spirits in true adoration."

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, God has planted eternity in the human heart but even so, people cannot see the full scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

This is such a fascinating image. At one time, we all lived inside of Him as eternal spirits, before He sent us here to exist on the outside of Him, so He could turn around and live inside of us.

His stupendous love for us is a consuming fire that burns with absolute passion, so it pleased Him to create a family that He could hold. If given the opportunity to stand close to the Father, you could hear the tiny spirits singing pick me pick me. As He selects each and every little spirit and knits us into our body of flesh for life on earth, He also gives us the gift of freewill, for He intends us to commune with His great Heart, and find the path of return as His beloved children, if we so choose.

King Solomon declares, "Don’t you see, children are the Lord’s Heritage; the fruit of the womb is HIS reward of a generous legacy for His Kingdom. Ephesians 1:11 records, In Him we also were made God’s heritage, His portion, also giving us an inheritance; for we have been chosen and appointed beforehand in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His own will."

    The Eye of the Needle

In this visual, we have finally reached the top of the full hourglass, filled up by an eternal God, with an eternal Spirit, who wanted an eternal family to fill up His eternal Kingdom. To accomplish this, He created two worlds—one physical, and one spiritual—the Heavens and the Earth. Neither one of these worlds are eternal, they will both be re-created at some point in the future. They were designed to function in alignment with each other so man could fulfill his Destiny and return to the Father for all of eternity.

Now as the sand in the hourglass begins to funnel down, imagine marks in the glass that indicate first, the creation of time and space, then the heavens and the earth, and then systematically everything that fills them. Finally, He creates man and woman and gives them the gift of procreation. At the moment of every conception, He places a little spirit inside a mother’s womb and knits it together with a physical body to house it.

The Book of Job records for us, Did He not fashion us in the womb? Did you not clothe me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews? King David said, From my mother’s womb You have been My God and My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, where I was woven together… Your eyes saw my unformed body, and all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

This brings us now to the narrowest part of the hourglass, that tight squeeze that lets only one grain of sand through at a time, the biological process of Birth—that tiny moment in time when this incredible, eternal being leaves the spiritual world and the presence of the Father, to be squished through that narrow place, to be born into a new, physical world to begin a life of finding its way back to the Father and eternity with Him, fulfilling its own destiny along the way.

This growth process of living out our life begins to fill the bottom of the hourglass. When it has reached its fullness, Yahweh turns it over and physical death now becomes the narrow place that returns our spirits into eternity—either back to the Father as His long awaited child, a partaker of His Holiness and a joint heir with Christ to all the riches of His Kingdom for eternity, or Hell, also very real, a place of total darkness, separated from the Father for all of eternity.

Yeshua Himself, as the Prince of Heaven, walked this tight narrow path before us in order to show us the way home. He is part of the Godhead. He existed before time and creation, and directs all the activities of the Heavenly realms, yet He chose to lay it all down, to become lower than the angels and take on the limiting mortality of flesh. He willingly came to earth in the absolute darkest period of history. His fragile humanity was woven together in Mary’s womb, then uniquely born in a poor and humble way, and entered the stream of earth’s history to begin a life here in the flesh, growing from glory to glory, and faith to faith, as a baby, child, teen, man, and then entered a brief ministry with dynamic power and anointing. He lived a perfect sinless life, demonstrating the Kingdom of Heaven, and then humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even brutal, horrific death on a cross, fulfilling His destiny as He returned home to Heaven to take His place again at the right hand of the Father.

    A Child Is Born

The actual moments of a baby’s birth are indeed highly emotional, powerful, exquisitely beautiful, exciting and incredibly miraculous, which has caused us to respond with all our human gifts, passion, intellect, and ingenuity. We have created entire specialized fields of science, education and medicine that have micro-managed every tiny piece of this one brief moment in the scope of all time and eternity—the slenderest point of the hourglass.

This one, tiny window has attracted presidents, government agencies, politicians, courts, lawyers, lobbyists, non-profit groups, physicians, medical personnel, scientists, universities, the United Nations, and national and international regulators as well as the World Health Organization together in a variety of adversarial and cohesive relationships, like bears and bees to the honeycomb.

But encapsulated within pregnancy and birth is this entire story beginning in the heart of the Father, transitioning from the spiritual realm to our brief time here on earth, and beginning our journey back again to the heart of the Father and forever in eternity. A rough estimation would suggest around ten percent of the birth process actually occurs here in the natural physical realm. The remaining ninety percent transpires within the spiritual realm, which is sadly ignored by much of the world.

An effectual example of this can be seen in the traditional Christmas Story, where the entire focus of the traditional celebration is the Birth of this Majestic King of Heaven. In reality, the true Christmas story begins with creation and continues until Yeshua’s millennial reign, stopping along the way for His birth and death, the two things that occurred here in the natural realm, on this physical earth—incredibly powerful events for sure, but still only a microscopic fraction of His entire eternal Destiny, don’t you think?

    Eternity is a Long Time

Marvelous creatures, both magnificent and malevolent, operate in both the earth and heavens, filling the atmosphere with their resonating presence. These living beings called angels, along with their dark cousin’s, the demons, move by the multitudes across the vast expanse of our known world. Created by Yahweh, these timeless beings are not subject to the limitations of our world and have a history of their own. They live in an eternal dimension which can be as close as one’s breath, and are allowed controlled access into our four-dimensional world. This allows them to move inter-dimensionally in order to perform for or against us. All people have angels without number ready to accompany them and defend them against the hoards of dark forces set against Yahweh and His creation, but few are actually ever activated by the saints.

Many Christians live a life of chaos simply because they do not firmly believe in Heaven or Hell. Just as Heaven in all its majesty is real, so also are Hell, satan, and the demon forces that serve him. Love is vitally important to Yahweh and is offered freely to anything or anyone that desires to share it.

But He has also made provision for all things that hate Him, as satan does. Hell was never intended for mankind but reserved for demons and the dark forces of wickedness. However, He has given each one of us the opportunity to choose where we will spend eternity—forever.

A conservative Presbyterian Pastor named Yong Park suffered a traumatic death and was taken to Heaven and Hell before returning to life. He beheld the gates to both and observed the reality that, for every one person that chooses to spend eternity in Heaven, one thousand souls perish in Hell, by choice, choosing to live their temporary lives for themselves during their short visit to earth. Likewise, Dennis Walker, a former missionary to Peru, a Las Vegas Pastor for 20 years, and now director of an international apostolic network, teaching and equipping the body of Christ, has also visited these gates and beheld the same dynamic.

The Apostle James wrote, When you are tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desires and enticed. Then, after desire has been conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Do not be deceived in these things.

The Apostle Paul exhorts us with the words, For the wages of sin is death, an eternity in hell. But the Gift of God is eternal life with Yeshua or Lord.

The Prophet Isaiah encourages all humanity to seek the Lord while He may be found, call on Him while He is near, for you have only this brief life to do so.

Our spirits are formed from the DNA of the Father mixed with the Light of His Spirit. This combination creates unimaginable potency for us to design either our destiny or our destruction. His magnificent love has freed us to make those decisions

    Redeem the Time

Look carefully then how you walk!

    Live purposefully, worthily and accurately,

not as the unwise and witless,

but as wise, sensible and intelligent people,

Redeeming the time by buying up each opportunity,

    because the days are evil.

Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish,

but understand and firmly grasp what the will of Adonai is.

    Eph. 5:15-17

On earth, we live in four dimensions; in a world with length, width, height, and time. In the natural, these dimensions limit us. Quantum physicists have discovered the existence of at least eleven different, present dimensions. All of these dimensions move in straight lines and are defined as a ‘linear’ perspective.

The Father created our universe and set this line of history in motion, but He is not subject to it. He lives above and beyond time. If seven other dimensions exist beyond our mortally limited view, our perspective is broadened and our imagination captivated by these dimensions we have not seen, yet are still present and provable.

These are the realms where God abides! Scripture identifies these dimensions as the second and third heavens. King Solomon, at the dedication of the great temple, spoke of our God not limited to the heavens we observe. But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, Heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

The question thereby arises, are the dimensions where God dwells reachable? Our linear history cannot reach these heavens; these dimensions do not move in the same direction. However, His dimensions may intersect with ours. When that happens, all that is in the God dimension becomes available to our present earth dimension. When these dimensions intersect, the limitations and laws of the natural can be altered, broken, or transformed. The limits and laws of our four-dimensional world can be suspended. Our natural order can be changed by a supernatural dimensional interruption.

A miracle is just this—a dimensional interruption when the spiritual world breaks into our mundane existence, changing our limited linear existence from ordinary to extraordinary. We can live in wonder again! The impossible becomes possible, and hope flourishes.

What exactly is time? We can save it, we can lose it, we can waste it, we can keep it, but we can’t stop it or start it. We can’t see it, or hear it, taste it or smell it. Sometimes it travels quite slowly, sometimes it flies by. We can be in time, on time or out of time. We can remember the old times, enjoy the good times and hope for better times. There is a right time and a wrong time. We can buy it, we can seize it and we can redeem it. Time can be defiled and it can be cleansed, it has windows that open and close. Happy always lasts longer than sad, slow never fails to arrive and forever has only just begun. It has been said, Time is the one immaterial object which we cannot influence, neither speed up nor slow down, add to or diminish—an imponderably valuable gift.

This linear perspective of time, held by our Modern Greek world-view, limits us to a time line that begins at some point way back in the past and continues forward off into the nebulous future. Neither point can be seen, but we travel along its path until we leave its dominion and enter a world where it exists no longer.

The Hebraic world-view, Heaven’s perspective, sees time more correctly, as circular, moving in ascending cycles like a spiral staircase. As we climb the staircase, line upon line, precept upon precept, we move from strength to strength, from faith to faith, and from glory to glory, always moving upward, gleaning, gathering and growing as we go. This explains why the weekly, monthly and annual cycles of Hebrew celebrations and feasts are so weighty—life becomes enriched every time the spiral cycle advances, always to a newer and higher plane.

There are two Latin words for time as we know it. Chronos refers to chronological time. It is absolute, linear, orderly, rhythmic, quantifiable and predictable, calculated by the earth spinning on its axis. It can be measured universally by a clock and a calendar and, therefore, regulates the speed of action and the pace of society—sometimes it becomes a prison that we can’t escape from, and other times it is like a river that catches us in the current and rushes us to our destination. It allows us to see where we came from but not where we are going.

Time is continually moving, marching onward, and thus making its self notably precious. When a moment in time disappears, it’s gone forever—it can never be replaced. In Chronos, there is a path chosen for us that leads to our destiny, our purpose, our story of what we were sent here to accomplish. On the other hand, we also have the choice to choose a different path, one of our own choosing, but it will not lead us to our destiny.

This choice motivated Moses to pray, O Lord teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom, and motivated the Apostle Paul to write to the Ephesians, Pay careful attention to how you walk! Live purposefully, worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise, sensible and intelligent people, redeeming the time by buying up each opportunity, because the days are evil.

Kairos, the second word for time, is an opportune time, a unique window of opportunity for action in which something remarkable happens, lasting only a few moments before it disappears forever. In the Apostolic Writings the word ‘kairos’ takes on yet another dimension; the specially ‘appointed’ time or predestined opportunity, ordained and predetermined by the Creator, when the act of supernatural intervention into the normal flow of time occurs, allowing God to move.

Kairos is the moment in which the eternal breaks into the temporal, shattering and transforming it, and prepares the temporal to receive the eternal.

Kairos is when the purposes of God intersect and overrule the events of this finite world.

You may ask, So what! Why is this relevant? If you pay careful attention to how you walk along your Chronos path, you will discover many Kairos moments when Yahweh breaks into your time, with answered prayer, a divine appointment or connection, angelic assistance to guide or protect, planting you in the right place at the right time, moments when God meets you in a unique way to equip and help you continue advancing up His spiral staircase.

Kairos moments happen when we experience God’s goodness, when we encounter Him and grow spiritually, times where He releases angels to partner with us, to war or direct our paths into new seasons, prosperity and power.

Since this is how we reach our destiny, it is not surprising that satan—that jealous beast—covets those intersections, ravenously capturing our appointed times to steal and destroy them. The Apostle Paul exhorts us to be alert, watch for these moments and redeem the time; otherwise satan will quickly derail us from the path to our destiny.

The definition of redeem embraces the idea of purchasing out of the market place, specifically to pay the price to set the slave free. Redeeming the time happens when we chose to make wise use of these unique intersections. Kairos moments are a passing instant when an opening appears, which must be driven through with force if success is to be achieved. Therefore, we must look carefully how we walk to be alert, ready, willing and able to buy up every one of Gods Kairos opportunities by making the very most of the time, paying the price whatever it is, to release our Kairos times from satan’s captivity, so the moment is not lost into eternity forever. This is how the Kingdom of Heaven is advanced into the earth.

In conclusion, the reality of these concepts molds the heart of the stories in this book, which are actual Kairos encounters, when the eternal invades the temporal and demands the process of driving through them with force to pay the price for their redemption. This is Hebraic Midwifery, an emerging paradigm that embraces the same art and science of classical midwifery, and then grows beyond into the realms of natural and supernatural reality and science, that position birth in the larger scope of Kingdom principles. This model of midwifery is built on a vertical vision of alignment, coming into agreement with heaven and its Great-Hearted and Noble Kings, and bringing their Kingdom into the earth, practicing the presence that we believe is present.

Graham Cooke puts it this way: You cannot be a son or daughter of God, a citizen of Heaven representing the Kingdom, and have a mindset that’s drawn from the world around you. We’re citizens of Heaven. We do not take our cues from the world around us. We are representatives of a dimension so incredible it takes us to a whole new place of doing life! Its one thing to desire change, but it’s another thing entirely to be the agent through which it comes.

    Blessing the Human Spirit

Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters, will himself be watered

    Proverbs 11:25

The word blessing is a common word today, and is used to indicate the act or words of a person who blesses, or a special favor, mercy, or benefit, such as the blessings of liberty. We bestow various forms of blessings on others that come as praise, love, good wishes, gifts, affirmation, acceptance, compliment, thanksgiving, encouragement or exhortation. These touches are excellent and fun to give and receive. But as wonderful as they are, they are short lived, temporal and quickly forgotten. This is because they are produced man-to-man, soul-to-soul. They produce warm fuzzies, but can never produce transformation.

There is a higher form of Blessing which releases promises from Heaven-to-earth, spoken from the Father’s mouth into the spirits of His children, spirit-to-spirit, designed to be life-giving and created to alter and shift our being to produce transformation. This is the active form of Blessing the human spirit which looses the creative power of words—Kingdom words, prophetic words, Yeshua’s words, and Holy Spirit words—as living water and bread from Heaven, for "Man does not live by bread alone, but lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Father."

The formal ritual of bestowing Blessings was instituted by Yahweh at Creation as a means of tuning our spirits to the sound of His heart, of setting man’s internal compass to celestial north. As it is demonstrated throughout Scripture, formal Blessing carries great power, not only as it is given, but for generations to follow. A formal Blessing uses the power of His Words to intentionally consecrate or sanctify another. It also requests of the Father an activation of a commitment or promise made in a previous generation and carried in our bloodline.

During creation the Father blessed many things, but when the Hebrew children were called out of Egypt as a special people, the formal rite of Blessing began. As the newly appointed first High Priest, Aaron was instructed to put Yahweh’s Name upon the people, to enable them to touch the throne of heaven and release His presence and favor, and receive the Blessing of abundant life. The placing of Yahweh’s name upon one another is the tongue’s greatest revelation, for the name of Yahweh is thus exalted and for it to be placed upon us is a Great Blessing.

This is what makes Blessing different from Prayer. A Blessing is given on behalf of the Father, exulting and extolling His character and overflows from His heart, while Prayer is expressing oneself to the Father and rises from the heart of the saint.

Hebraic culture grew up feasting on Blessings and to this day they continue to Bless—they Bless God before and after every meal, they Bless Him when they rise and when they retire, they Bless their children when they are born, and when they are named, they Bless their sons and daughters weekly, they Bless their food, the Sabbath and their feast days. Patriarchs Bless their families on their death beds. They have crafted beautiful ceremonies of every kind that have Blessings at their core because they believe in the power—There is a Blessing for everything! Yeshua and His disciples continued the flow of Blessings throughout the early church, to Jew and Gentile alike. Tragically, our Modern Greek culture today does not practice nor understand the practice of Blessings so it disappeared from our society during the Dark Ages.

    Desires, Design and Destiny

We are made in the express image of Yahweh, and the triune Godhead of the Father, the Son, Yeshua, and Holy Spirit, the Drama King of Heaven, [Ruach HaKodesh]. As a reflection of His compound nature we are created with a spirit, soul, and body but our spirit is the core of our being, the actual person of our existence. It is the spirit that is regenerated, or born again when we receive the gift of salvation in Yeshua, the Messiah, and it is the only part that will live forever in eternity, either heaven or hell.

We also have a soul, which consists of our mind, will, and emotions. Most of the time we live life from this place, allowing our soul to dominate our daily experiences, but this is not Yahweh’s design as the soul will perish, it is not eternal. Our temporal body of flesh houses the spirit and soul, but it will likewise return to the dust of the ground.

Sadly, most of us allow our fleshly desires to rule our decisions as well, missing completely the design of the Father for our existence. Our carnal desires are corrupt and deceitful, but they are powerful driving forces behind our choices and decisions. They generate significant strongholds for the enemy of our soul, who has an unquenchable thirst for our eternal destruction. This is where the exhilarating Holy Spirit enters the game of life, to transform our minds and free us from the bondage of our flesh so we can reach our destiny—the one that leads us back to the Father’s Heart after having impacted earth with Heaven.

Our entire lives here on the earth are continually engulfed in the battle between good and evil, right and wrong, eternal life and eternal destruction, our spirit and our soul. Our only hope of finding and traveling the path back to the Father is by the regeneration of our spirit and intentionally growing it into maturity.

If our spirit being is never nurtured and trained into maturity, it will shrivel and die within us producing a type of spiritual death. This grieves the Father deeply so He has imparted hosts and legions of different celestial beings to war on our behalf and wrestle with our carnal choices and desires, in hopes of re-directing us into our created design.

Ultimately our eternal destiny lies completely in our own hands, determined by our own choices and decisions, for this is the purpose of free will.

    Living Food and Legacy

Blessing our human spirit carries the force of living food, capable of imparting a generational legacy to us and our seed, reaping much fruit for the Kingdom. Because our human spirit is made from the essence of the Father’s Spirit, it finds its true home there and when His word is imparted as true bread and living water, it sustains and empowers us.

Yeshua’s Words create life. They nurture our sense of belonging, inclusion and worth, and in them we find our identity, legitimacy and birthright. The art of releasing this power within yourself and one another carries His Living manna from our head to our heart and causes us to come alive. It has the potential to bring peace, health, prosperity and well-being, to heal and restore and propel us up the spiral staircase.

Like our soul, our spirit being also possesses a mind, a will and emotions that are completely separate from those of our soul, which can sometimes give us the sensation of a ‘split personality. The emotions of the spirit are much more intense than those of the soul, for example sorrow comes out of our soul while gut wrenching anguish comes from deep in the spirit. Anger is produced in the soul but wrath comes out of the spirit. Our soul experiences a limited kind of joy, or happiness which is short-lived, while our spirit thrives on rapturous ecstasy, blissful delight, the long-lasting fullness of joy, our home base, the undercurrent of all we are living" through.

In our soul we can often hold opposing discussions with ourselves, or wrestle between two points of view. This is our spirit and soul warring against each other. The eighth chapter of the Book of Romans provides great detail about this very process, which the Apostle Paul summarizes in his letter to the Galatians: You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. So I say, walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not able to do whatever you want… Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

When we use the Word of Yahweh and the principles of Kingdom Culture to Bless one another, this lands soundly in our spirits and enlarges us. His Nature is Life—boundless energy that produces life in us—spiritual bread available for the taking. But it must be procured from the Throne and sown, activated in the earth for its power to transform.

    The Principle of Exchange

When this creative power flows from Spirit-to-spirit the principle of Exchange occurs. Pure love is wrapped up in His words and, like arrows, their target is to hit the bull’s eye of your being and produce Joy. He designed our physiology to host joy as our spirit’s home base. If groomed and cultivated, most of our neurological pathways are designed to lead home and the wider our pathways, the quicker we can maintain our footing there.

This blueprint of pathways throughout our being is prepared to increase based on the principle of exchange. Joy can only be developed in people as a reaction to someone else’s joy expressed over them. Children are made to be enjoyed and they arrive as God’s gift of joy to us. Mothers are innately created to rejoice over their children and when this exchange occurs it forms the nurturing core for the development of the child’s home base of joy—and the pathways begin to increase as long as this process continues.

Yeshua especially loves Blessing the children, both here and in Heaven, because their spirits are so eager for this spiritual food. During our sojourn down here on earth, the greatest mileage can be obtained from blessing babies in the womb because their spirits already have an innate craving for the Word of their Creator.

The spirit of man, the mind of man, and the brain cells of man all connect in the frontal lobe of the brain, which is the first and foremost thing to develop in the emerging fetus. This is where the Spirit of God encounters man. It is here that Blessings have the potential to optimally stimulate these nerves making them spiritually sensitive, thereby enlarging the developing spirit of the child, or the hungry spirit of an adult.

A newborn’s brain is about 25 percent of its approximate adult weight, and by age 3, it has grown dramatically by producing billions of cells and hundreds of trillions of connections, or synapses, between these cells.

The largest window for the development of the joy pathways extends from the fourth month of pregnancy through eighteen months of age. The more sensitive they become to joy, the more brain cells they will connect and the more transformation and change will occur in their growing life.

As parents, we are the first connection to the child, and if we intentionally express our reassuring acceptance of them it opens up their spirits to
