About this ebook

Bless Me until You’re Satisfied offers itself as a guide to the Scriptures’ witness to the abundant blessings God desires to pour out into the lives of all who follow Him in faith. By drawing upon his ministry as a pastor and his work in a counseling center dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youths, Joseph Harris lifts up the overwhelming power of God’s blessings in the face of life’s challenges and adversities.

Each chapter of Bless Me until You’re Satisfied typically begins with a passage from the Bible, followed by a “bless me” statement, which draws out the theme of the passage and applies it to daily life. The balance of each chapter then delves into the riches of God’s blessings and traces the chapter’s theme as it appears throughout the whole of the Scriptures.

Life sometimes weighs us down with worries. Other times we burden ourselves with the bad choices we make. If you feel like you are dragging around a great load, then Bless Me until You’re Satisfied can help you. It reveals God’s answer to your prayers for assistance; it describes the riches of His blessings; it leads you to ask Him to bless you until He is satisfied and you are made whole.

Bless Me Until You’Re Satisfied - Joseph Harris

    CHAPTER 1

    THE ADAM PROJECT

    GENESIS 2-3

BLESSED ME #1 Man was created to be under God’s authority and power so that he could reign with God and execute service as Kings and Priest in the Army of God. He is a man of dominion and favor formed for God’s purpose. God had many projects in His plan of creation by His own power. After he had created heaven and earth, he would later start on the most valuable and important project, Man. Adam knew he was created and blessed by God!

    BLESSED ME TIL YOU’RE SATISFIED

God’s decided to start the Adam project when He created Adam from the ground and everything Adam needed to live in paradise. He wanted a man that could walk in His image. He wanted a man that would be pleasing in His sight. He called the man Adam and positioned him properly in heart, mind, spirit and soul under God Himself. The word Adam is derived from Hebrew meaning to be red or ruddy in color which refers to his skin. Adam means man, mankind. Adam was created to be under God to live an obedient life. God gave Adam the Garden of Eden which replicated a form of paradise. In the beginning, Adam was the only man created by God and given Dominion over everything. God wants every man to be a dominion man, trusting and walking in obedience. The scripture clearly tells us that the Trinity was in agreement about creating man. God clearly states in Genesis 1:26, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. We see in the scripture that God was speaking to someone else. No one else has power and authority to create except the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, known as the Trinity. The word created is Bara. Bara always refers to the product rather than the composition. Bara also refers to creating something out of nothing. Only God has that kind of power. This means that God made man to be a completely Holy being in the eyes of God. God only makes things with perfection for His purpose. The Greek word Genesis is gignesthai which means origin. It means to be born. In Latin, it means birth. It refers to the beginning. God blessed Adam to His satisfaction. Adam had all blessings in his reach. God wants us to come to Him to get blessings until He is satisfied. We can get abundance of blessings at any time from God. He simply requires obedience.

When God created man he made him in his image to walk holy and blameless. Adam was to mirror God with his obedience, love and life. He was not to be God. He was to demonstrate the character and will to walk Godly. He was to express dominion over everything. One of his first orders of business was to take care of the Garden of Eden and everything that God had given him authority over. The reason this is called the Adam project is because God was specific in creating Adam. This includes giving Adam all dominion and making Adam in God’s image. Many projects are completed. With some of projects, a person has to revisit for correction or repair it all over again. God had to go back and fix the first Adam due to disobedience. God sent the second Adam, Jesus to fix everything in humanity. Why? It is because Adam stepped out of order. God’s purpose and will for our life is priority. We are to glorify God by obeying Him and answering His call to mission.

When God put Adam under Him, He ensured that Adam had everything he needed. We are descendants of Adam. The first rule of order is that of obedience to God.

The Adam project simply means God started something and put in Image and it was out of creative power, that is the very make up and life of Adam. The Adam project in a sense tells us that we are the extension of the first Adam as well as the second Adam. God created every part of Adam’s being. When you look at man, God made him up so unique that no one can duplicate man.

Cloning people, animals and other things that God created are scientific projects that people take put forth an effort to win Nobel peace prizes to become notable scientist with a form of fame and high recognition. None of those things measure up to the God’s true creation written in the word of God.

The Adam Project is simply making people see clearly that you and I were made by God and it started with God making Adam in His image and perfect. The Adam project did not stop when God put Adam and Eve in the Garden and gave him authority and dominion over everything. The Adam project is in every man today due to God’s basic powerful order of creation. The Adam project is to make all men understand that God is ready to make you over and help you align your life in obedience. Adam sinned by an act of disobedience. He ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, then Adam and Eve’s eyes were opened to their nakedness. They knew sin because of the choice they made. What choices are you making today? The solution for man to be restored was then and remains to be Jesus Christ, who became the second Adam who washed all sin away. He was the second Adam to reveal the perfection and way to paradise for all mankind. You may ask what I am really saying. The point is that every man that ever acted in disobedience and out of the will of God can surrender to Jesus to be restored as a man and women of God. Jesus is the only one who can make us clean so we can walk as a new man under His Authority. The Adam project started as you became a new man in Jesus Christ. You are no longer bound to the old life of sin and disobedience. Man can now recognized that God has redeemed him and blessed him mightily in all ways. Man can now walk in the land of milk and honey and more because of Jesus Christ. When man takes hold of this concept, then he will say Bless me until you are satisfied Lord. He will speak it simply because he recognizes the goodness of God flowing in his life. Later there was Moses who God turned to and used in a mighty way. He became a deliverer. Moses was the author of the first five books of the Bible called the Pentateuch.

Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

    GOD FORMED ADAM

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Where did man come from is usually the question most children ask adults? As we can see in Genesis 2:7 it was God who formed man from the dust of the ground. Man was not formed any other way as we can clearly see in Genesis. There is no science that can over ride the word of God. The Greek word for formed is yatsar. In Genesis 2:22 God fashioned Eve. Eve in the Greek is Heua which means the first woman. She is known as the mother of all living. Eve also means living by the Hebrew word Chavah. She was taken out of the first living man. In Adam, one might view this forming technique as one molding a vessel into what God desires it to become. God used His owned technique in forming man. This is the beginnings staged of man’s life created by God.

God prepares and gives instructions to Moses. Moses is a blessed Man of God in whom God selected for the mission of deliverance. Moses listens to God and prepares to deliver a blessing to people he has really never met. One of the things that touched him is that God changed Him and the people are his people. One thing that Moses understood clearly was that God was the God of all power and creation. Moses wrote about God saying in Exodus 3:14 I am that I am which really lets everyone in the world know that God is the only God and will never change. Everything He put in order and in motion was and is for His glory. Moses spoke God’s word and let them know that God word will be done according to his purpose. God demonstrated his power then and later He would do it again. One thing I know about the Lord. He is the God that can do it again in my life. He blessed me over and over. In fact, he never stops blessing me.

    MOSES THE DELIVERER

When Moses discovered God at the burning bush, His life changed and he became a man of God that was on fire to serve God. The Lord did not hesitate using Moses. God used him right away in a mighty way. Moses means in Hebrew to pull or draw out. Moses was known as a deliverer. He helped deliver God’s people from slavery and bondage out of Egypt.

Moses formed a relationship with God because he felt God’s love and call to walk as a servant, in victory and His glory. His relationship became a serious one because he trusted God. The Lord knew he could use Moses. I believe Moses was anchored in the Lord as soon as he had the burning bush experience. Everybody may not be the same. But God knows the heart of man. Moses’ relationship with God truly can be considered as anchored in the Lord. Moses was anchored because of the covenant relationship God had with him. God loved Moses so much that He favored Moses and His people. He favored Moses over Pharaoh. Although Pharaoh was hard at enslaving God’s people, he could not keep them enslaved. The grips of bondage that Pharaoh and Egypt had on God’s people did not outweigh the power of God’s favor on the lives of the children of Israel. God made sure that he got Pharaoh’s attention when he brought the plague on Pharaoh and Egypt. God allowed Pharaoh to see that Moses was great in the land of Egypt. Moses was greater than Pharaoh because he was God’s servant. God loves to follow through with His word. You cannot help but to see what the Lord has done with His people in the midst of hardship. God’s power was manifested in the sight of Pharaoh and it blew his mind. God’s power flashed right before the eyes of Pharaoh and there was nothing he could do about it. There is no greater nor more convincing power than God’s power. When it seems like Pharaoh could not be convinced, God did it! There are many Pharaohs in today’s society that make it difficult to believe and cross over to Jesus Christ. Make no mistake about! God will convince everyone with a Pharaoh Spirit or attitude to cross over and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. When you experience the power of Jesus it leaves a person in awe and the reality that God is God and that God has more power than anyone else. You then realize that there is no other God!

    COME OUT OF THE WILDERNESS!

Numbers 14:1 Then the whole community began weeping aloud, and they cried all night. Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness! they complained. Why is the LORD taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and our little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better for us to return to Egypt? Then they plotted among themselves, Let’s choose a new leader and go back to Egypt! Then Moses and Aaron fell face down on the ground before the whole community of Israel. Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, "The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey.

Come out of the wilderness if you are there! Do not go into the wilderness unless God sends you through for a test and testimony. God is always blessing and delivering his people out of all kinds of trials and wilderness experiences. Nevertheless, there are always some that exalt God and some that consistently complain even thought they get blessed in and out of their situations. It was a blessing that God took the children of Israel out of the hands of Pharaoh. He could have left them in slavery-bondage. But when you have good intentions it always seems to get twisted. Life is even like that when someone is trying to do something good by saving a life, things get twisted and some people just complain anyway you want to look at it. The people of Israel were like that when Moses got them out. When God use someone to witness to you and get you delivered, don’t turn your back on them and walk away. Don’t allow the enemy to make you plot against those who bless you. Instead go into prayer for your leaders in the church. God put them on mission just like he put you on mission. He wants us to pray and walk as a team to continue our deliverance walk and worship Him. God already knew that there would be complainers. God already had set up the course of blessing for the people of Israel. He never stopped loving them. God had a land filled with milk and honey waiting on them. Forty years in the desert was just another test to see if people would pray and trust God. God wanted to see if his people would be thankful of their deliverance and worship him without a complaining spirit. It is time to break aways from that kind of spirit and get closer to God and be thankful for the blessings of milk and honey. The people had lost focus and were concentrating on replacing Moses. God was focused on Moses continuing his leadership and the people being blessed and giving them Canan, those who would remain to see the day.

    GOD PROVES HIMSELF ALL POWERFUL!

Exodus 11: 4-6 Then Moses said, "Thus says the LORD: ‘About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt; and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the animals. Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again.

There are many movies today that portray a child being taken away for ransom by some evil villainous people. Almost always at the end, there is someone to rescue that child from being sold into slavery or killed because of those people who are evil. There is always a hero in the story that saves the day for the people. In this story was God using Moses to save the day. Pharoah’s flash is about really waking up to experience God in his life. If God has to take a child from Pharaoh to get his attention, he would do just that. I would think that Pharoah’s mind had difficulty cophrehending the power that changed his mind.

During Moses time, God honored Moses because of his obedience and his meekness and humility to follow the voice of God. Moses led God’s people out of bondage under Pharaoh. Pharaoh is an evil character in the bible, who display arrogance and a disregard for God’s instruction to Moses. For years Pharaoh had God’s people locked up in slavery, bondage. Pharaoh’s heart was satisfied and he was destined in his own mind never change. He did not believe in the same God Moses believed in. In fact I recall viewing the old movie the Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner, a classic that displayed God’s power to convince Pharaoh that God, the one called I Am That I Am has all power and can change anyone. There are people today with Pharaoh’s mentality and hearts that need to be changed and God will change them! What made this such a classic is the series of events that displayed realness and truth of God’s word. It was also probably a classic in so many people mind because it reflects deliverance and freedom from slavery, taskmasters and all evil influences. More importantly, God really demonstrated a love and compassion beyond imagination that set His people free. Moses even said to Phaorah several times. Let my people go. Throughout the entire course of events the plagues and death of first born and the Red Sea being opened, Pharaoh’s heart was still hardened. You know it really does take God to change a person. It would take the power of God to flash through the mind, heart and sight of Pharaoh to make him clearly see through demonstration that God is God and there is no other like Him. God can give anyone that has the attitude of Pharaoh that deny God and keep others in bondage a new heart and deliverance. Blessings, honor, salvation and glory to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

    LIFT YOUR ARMS UP!

It took faith for Moses arms to go up toward God. He knew that God would answer. You may want to lift your arms up and worship God and give Him glory. Thank Him for His awesome power. Thanks Him for moving your enemies out of the way. Thank God for a life of blessings. Worship Him with all of your heart.

Millions of people have seen many actors portraying Moses on television holding up the staff for the waters to divide in the Red Sea. It stood for something back then and it still stand for for freedom from bondage through the power of God. Any believer truly knows that only God could do such thing.

He also used his staff on many other times like walking through the desert to lean on it for support. One occasion, he used it to demonstrate God’s power of false magicians with their serpents. Another time Moses struck the rock for water to come forth (Exodus 17:4-7). Moses had previously parted the Red Sea with the Staff. Moses had raised up the staff at the Red Sea to represent the awesome power of God’s deliverance of His people. The bible tells us that the waters rolled back and the ground became dry in that same instance. God’s power was illustrated for the purpose of deliverance. Anytime you trust in the living God to fight your battles and deliver you out of the hand of the enemy, God will come through for you. You will be victorious in the Lord, Jesus Christ. God will get the glory! You must get the same attitude Moses had in trusting in the Most High God. When Moses staff went up, you better believe that prayers went up. You see the staff also represented a lineage of God’s people past, present and future. Not only did Moses use the staff to open the waters at the Red Sea, he used the same staff to close the water drowning Pharaoh’s Army.

    THE DEPTS OF YOUR HEART

Pharaoh’s heart was changed by God. It took a while but God already knew when the time was right for Pharaoh. Whatever anyone is going through because of a hardened heart, God will change it to a heart for God’s use. He will reveal Himself in many different ways. Pharaoh’s heart was so hardened that He had no intentions on changing it. He allowed his heart to be conditionally evil. A person does not have to allow the heart to be conditioned with evil thoughts and motives. It’s a choice you make in life! Everyone should accept Jesus and His way. In doing so, we get the best results from our heart as we remain connected to Jesus. Your heart either keeps you in bondage or you allow Jesus Christ to set you free. Jesus has to be at the center of your heart to set you free. Don’t follow an Pharaoh spirited people and get drowned like his army. You make the most important choice of your life today by allowing Jesus to enter the depts of your heart.

    GOD BLESSED ABRAHAM

    Genesis 15:1-8

After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:

    "Do not be afraid, Abram.

    I am your shield,

    your very great reward."

But Abram said, O Sovereign LORD, what can you gives me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir. Then the word of the LORD came to him: This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir. He took him outside and said, Look up at the heavens and count the stars if indeed you can count them. Then he said to him, So shall your offspring be. Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. He also said to him, I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it. But Abram said, O Sovereign LORD, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?

God gave Abram instructions to look at the stars and number them because He wanted him to have faith in the blessings that would be reveal and come in his life. It was as if God was saying you are asking me for a child but I am about to give you child and more. You will be so blessed that all people will fall under your name as far as you can see and count (Genesis 22:17; 26:4). Abraham was to become the father of many nations because God gave him that position due to his faith in God (Genesis 17:5). The reason Abraham’s mind was on his flesh and blood son is because he wanted a legacy for God’s use. He wanted to pass on what God had given him. It was also a custom to have a male child to carry on your name. The same still applies in today’s world. Every man wants a boy to carry his name. Not only was God giving Abraham the blessing of off springs, He was giving the blessing of the land of Canaan to take possession. God wants us today to have faith and believe in what He alone can do. Maybe you have been hoping for God to do something in your life. He wants us to have a faith that causes manifestations. Abraham’s faith would cause him to see this son, Isaac that God has promised. God wants us to know that we can count on his promises (Genesis 17:15-27).

    CHAPTER 2

    SEED PRODUCES

    ABUNDANT BLESSINGS

    GENESIS 22

Genesis 22:14-18 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah jireh: as it is said to this day, in the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

BLESSED ME #2 BE OBEDIENT IN YOUR GIVING TO GOD TO PRODUCE MULTIPLES. GIVE YOUR BEST TO GOD! HE WILL BLESS YOU TIL HE IS SATIFIED. YOU WILL HAVE AN OVERFLOW IN YOUR LIFE, MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE!

Obedience to God is the key to walking in multiple blessing and producing unlimited seed. God is talking about blessing generations to come from Abraham’s seed. Notice that once God puts something in order, it will come to past. Now of course Jesus is the seed from heaven and of the New Testament. This passage connects us to the spiritual seed which is His divine and personal nature and of course the power of God. Abraham’s seed will be blessed simply because Abraham was obedient to God’s voice and demonstrated his faith in God. His action spoke louder than words. He moved when God said move. He gave when God said to give. The blessed seed is from God, His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the seed that anchors every human being. In the Old Testament God is showing us that we are blessed by God as he uses Abraham. In the New Testament, God directs to Jesus, His seed in which all the earth is bless that call His name.

Farmers in every country have something in common and that is to produce on the farm all the crops that he or she is growing. They do it by planting seed in the ground and nurturing that seed. Seed power is evident on the farm because the land is being produced with seed. First step is to use the seed and plant the seed believing that God will use it and give it the power to yield. The United States, European nations, Asia, Africa, Russia, China, Japan, Great Britain, and all other nations in this world must have the power to produce with seed in their country’s land. They must produce to bear good fruit from fertile ground. Each one of these country have markets that sell fruit. Most businesses produce good fruit in their perspective market place to sell good and be fruitful to customer from all around because their reputation of selling good are at stake in profits and business. Why did God make a covenant using seed? God wants us to honor Him and give Him the glory. Just as businesses sell out on products, we as believers become sellouts for God to win souls. We sell out by delivering the power of the word of God. We must be sell outs in the word of God to plant seed by the power of the Holy Spirit and be fruitful. Yes the atmosphere, the environment and the power to nuture the seed is a must by the Holy Spirit. Man must have the Holy Spirit to produce using him as an instrument and witness to produce harvest and blessings. God gives life to seed and produces only blessed seed.

    PRODUCE SOMETHING!

Mark 11:20-24 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Jesus is about respect and production. When you respect Jesus and He knows it, then expect to produce in the abundance. Even nature has to respect Jesus. He is the Son of God. He makes it clear to have faith in God. You may have remembered the story of the fig true that would not bare fruit when Jesus came on the scene. Jesus cursed that tree to the point that it had to wither away to be completely disposed of and never to use again. He uses the illustration for us so that we do not allow anything to stunt our faith as well as our blessings when it comes to production and bearing fruit for God. The difference is that He will use us again. He blessed seed that it would be pleasing in His sight. God opposes withholding His blessings that He has given us. Always give God a blessed seed from the heart by faith. Pray that He accepts your sacrificial seed. We must bless the Lord back in return for His marvelous and wonderous giving. We give because we believe in Jesus as Lord and honor and glorify Him.

The fruit tree that answers to God is the fruit tree that produces good seed. It similar to the wheat that reaps a harvest is the wheat that is pleasing to God. There are all types of fruit trees that have seed on the inside of them. The most popular are the apples, oranges, and pomgrante, grapes, and many others. We also have the watermelons and cantelops that have an abundance of seeds on the inside. Inside these veggies, seed is in the abundance. Nevertheless it has the power to reproduce more veggies with seed. God placed a much higher order of seed producing power in man than He did in all creation. Man was created in God’s image.

It is said that a woman can ovalate and have more babies in a certain cycle of reproduction than normally anticipated. But she first must allow her husband to consummate with her to receive his seed. She has to accept her husband’s seed. Man produces an abundance of seed in one session, capable of delivering several children at one time. His seed from God has the power to cause her to conceive and give birth.

    YOU CAN’T STOP GOD’S SEED!

Genesis 1:11-12 Then God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in it according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

There are natural seeds as well as spiritual seeds which both play crucial parts in our lives. You can never get away from seed. It is because seed is either good or bad. You can discover seed all year round. Seed is unstoppable. Seasons and seed go together because God never stops producing. There is a season for you to produce something with the seed God gave you. God intentionally created blessings in every season. Your life is sustained every season because God is looking for you to produce something for His glory. God uses every season for us to grow and produce. If you do not grow, how can you produce? Do not stay the same empty vessel. When apples grow and businesses purchase and process them, the production comes in the form of apple juice in the market place for consumers to purchase. Then the business makes a profit. This is your season to produce. Sow seed, get seed and produce for God’s glory. This is your season to produce.

In the summer time, we love to eat watermelon because it taste so good. Every time we opened one it had multiple seeds inside. I always thought it was amazing how all of those seeds where inside the watermelon. Nevertheless, we ate them every season of production and dispose of the left over seed and rimes far off into the field. Every time we would return to the spot, new watermelons would have sprouted up on top of the ground. All of those left over and thrown away seeds produced so many unexpected watermelons. God blesses us to see that seed cycle never stops. I also learned that God uses all of His seeds His way. In other words, keep the seed and do not throw it away seed. God produces through all of His seed for His purpose. Another thing is that God reveals to us that seed reproduces its own seed as we see in the book of Genesis. God creates good seed in all of His creation. He does not think about whether or not seed will be good, He knows that all of His seed is a blessing. Seed reproduces and yields the harvest. More seed is multiplied to produce more harvest and the cycle goes on. Seed always produces in multiples or as God ordained it. When Jesus placed His spiritual seed inside the believer, believers are known as being fruitful because they are witnesses to help multiply believers as they worship and serve to expand the Kingdom of God. The next time you look at your biological child or even your spiritual children, remember that the seed that God placed in you will show forth in the seed in them.

    SEED POSSESSION

Genesis 17:5-9 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

God chose seed to bless people, the earth and His creation. God ensures that His seed reproduces as He spoke of it in Genesis 1:11. God blesses us as Abraham’s seed because of his obedience. He initially called him Abram. Then later the blessing came and his name was changed into Abraham, the Father of many nations Genesis 17:5-9. Nevertheless, make no mistake; we are God’s seed first and foremost. He created us in His likeness. It is absolutely amazing that God can God bless everyone under one man’s faith and obedience that He blessed. It simply shows us the power of God and how He views our lives. He reminds us that He can see every move that we make. He reminds us that He delights in us when we obey Him. If Abram had done the opposite of God, the outcome would have been different. We know it because the outcome with Adam was different because Adam lost the garden. Adam was no longer perfect n God’s eyes. If he had still been perfect, there would have been no need for the second Adam, Jesus Christ to reconcile us to the Father. No one could have truly known if God would have done something different. We do know that disobedience does not please God in any way. Nevertheless through all of the disappointments and acts of disobedience, God still appointed Jesus to be our redeemer, the perfect seed that we would stem bless us.

He made Abram the father of many nations because of his obedience. He made Jesus Lord and King of all creations. We are blessed under Jesus once and for all time. Knowing Jesus in my life makes me want to be more obedient to God. The more obedient, the more blessings and the more we give glory to God. Abram name was change and He was blessed more than the stars in the sky. He was blessed more the sand on seashores. God is a God who made promises and will never break His promises. When God speaks, make no mistake about God’s promises. He is not like man, He speaks and His word backs it up with action. He already proved Himself. God is telling us that if you obey my voice, I will bless you. So then it is time to start being alert and listening to the voice of the Lord. Think about the things He just might ask of us. Think on His goodness and blessings in your life today.

    SEED ON GOOD GROUND

Jesus also blesses us when he speaks about seed to His disciples in Mark 4:3-9 Listen Behold a sower went out to sow. And it happened as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no debt of the earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yield a crop that sprang up, increased and produced; some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred."

When seed falls on good ground, it will produce. God’s blessings will come forth in multiples. It is the word of God that makes it multiply some thirty, sixty, and hundred fold. The good ground is the conversion cause by the power of seed that is planted. Seed is ready for use. The word is ready to be used. You have the word in you ready to be used for the Kingdom of God. Quoting a scripture to someone is planting seed. You just did something for God. There is some good ground in you because you have the word of God inside of you planted by God that has not left you. The good ground is in one respect a converted Christian’s heart that has allow the word of God to penetrate and has become a witness to the lost souls of the world, producing under the anointing more thirty, sixty, and hundred fold. You can go out and get people who need the Lord in their lives. They will be thankful and never forget you. God’s word is the seed that is required by every Apostle, Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher and all Servants to deliver to all people. God plants His word into the hearts of people regardless of any situation. His seed can do the miraculous in any person’s life.

Mark 4:14 The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The writer points out the fact that when the sower preach and delivers the word of God people who seem to have received it, the enemy comes in and makes them forget the word that they just heard preached. This is because these groups of people allow the enemy to make them forget their purpose and word of God that just went out. God reminds us that people must allow the word to get rooted inside the heart. When the word of God is rooted inside man’s heart, the enemy has no ground to stand on. You are a child of the most High God. Remember, what the word of God tells us in Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    SOW SEED FOR BLESSINGS

Mark 4: 11-20 He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,

‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,

    and ever hearing but never understanding;

otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’

Then Jesus said to them, Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? The farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.

When the Famer places the seed in the grown, he goes to sleep while the process takes place underground until God pushes the outcome above ground resulting in a product. Then the harvest is ready to gather and deliver. God wants you to sow because it is a blessing to reap from the harvest. The one who planted that seed will receive the blessing in multiples. Your blessing will return in multiples. The reason behind it is that God promises His blessings to those who give. God opens the windows of heaven to bless you(Malachi 3:8-10). There is a seed time and harvest. God delivers a harvest upon you sowing to God (Matthew 13:23). You were born to produce something and produce it on good ground. (Genesis 8:22; 2 Corinthians 6-9-12).

    SACRIFICES

God saw you give your sacrificial seed blessing and it pleased Him. In every case we should be reminded that He sees us as He saw Abraham sacrificing his only son, Issac that he had been waiting for his wife to have for 25 years. He was not even sure that she would conceive until God spoke to him and told him that it would come to pass. So when he finally receives his long awaiting son, he was asked to sacrifice him. But God saw his heart and stopped him. It was at a place called Jahovah Jireh. Jahovah Jireh is one name used to address God and it means God will provide (Genesis 22:14).

    MAKE THE KINGDOM PRIORITY!

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

What are some things that you seek with great determination? Usually it is a job or a commitment that impresses someone else. Seek God in whatever you do and your plans will succeed according to His purpose for your life. He wants to bless you with abundance. Without a shadow of doubt God must be the first and center of your life. To gain anything, you must seek God first. To get answer about lifes greatest circumstances and situations, seek God first. God wants us to understand that he put people in our paths to help us in our walk to accomplish ministry. However, some may run from the task and some may even reject you. Nevertheless, God is still available with open arms ready to give you the answer and comfort you.

    A TINY SEED PRODUCES MUCH

Mark 4: 30-32 Then He said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.

In 2003, my family moved to Texas to start our lives. We were so family oriented and in the ministry at a local church. We begin meeting people and things were just fine as we lived the blessed life then and today. My wife has a fascination with trees and plants, and flowers in general. Well, this led us to working in the back yard planting many trees and small bushes and flowers. Today, I look at the results of the work we did planting trees. I recognized three trees that my family of four worked on together digging the same holes and planting those seeds inside. One of the techniques we used was utilizing the same soil that was rich and so fertile. In some holes we planted trees that were about 3 feet and today those same trees are 60 to 70 feet high. It stills boggles my mind to see earth produce in its seed and fertile ground such a manifestation and transformation of trees (wood). It just reminds us of His design and creative power. God not only revealed His power in the area of seed and fertile manifestation, He enabled my family to stick together as a team in to be a part of something fruitful. God gave us the pear tree, apple tree, and magnificent rose bushes and lots more. In the soil, He reminds me of the power of His seed that is already planted in the earth for His pleasure.

Galatians 6:6-10 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we
