About this ebook

This book was written to share words of inspiration, encouragement and hope that are biblically based and practically applied. As many people require daily consumption of medications in quantities of doses prescribed by physicians, my prayer is that as you read these spiritual doses of inspiration, you will experience an uplifted spirited and a renewed mind.
My prayer is that the Lord allow this tool to be one where those who are hurting spiritually and emotionally, those who are oppressed and depressed, or those that just need a "picker-upper" will obtain a "right now" word that will feed their spirit, mind and soul.

A Dose of Inspiration - Buford Pat Snipes

God Wants To Pour Into Your Life

    (Luke 10:30-35) (Isaiah 32:15) (Joel 2:28) (Acts 10:45)

    (Matthew 9:17)

There is a very serious call being made to the church today because it is a critical time for the church. I believe God is waiting to see what we are doing with what he gave us and what Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 Go ye. But is there a reason we found it difficult to go? Have we been robbed along the way and left to die?

Let’s look at our sermonic scripture in Luke 10:25-37.

His enemies abused this poor man. This honest man was traveling on the road to Jericho. They took his money and stripped him of his clothes; they wounded him, left him half-dead, and ready to die of his wounds.

How many of you perhaps found yourself ready to die of your wounds? Well, let me tell you, Jesus is ready to pour in the oil and the wine. He wants you to develop a relationship with him. He wants you to become a message of hope for this world. The Holy Spirit has poured God’s love into our hearts. Romans 5:5 says the spirit of God, which creates and gives life, lays hold of men to endow them with supernatural power.

We were also like this poor, distressed traveler. That is the way the devil did us, and is still doing to some of you. You have been wounded at the hand of the devil, left to die from what you have been afflicted with. The Law of Moses passed on the other side as having neither pity nor power to help us. Then Jesus came, that Good Samaritan, he had compassion on us, and he took care of us as he poured in the oil representing the Holy Spirit. He did not give us new wine so we could pour it into old wineskins of our lives before him. He wants to transform you into a new person. He has a brand new way of life for you, and he gives it freely. It does not matter what your condition is, how beaten and broken you are, Jesus wants to pour his life into you. He wants to pour his love into you. Jesus knows that sin was so bad he had to go to the cross to get victory for us and answer this dilemma.

Just as this Good Samaritan got down off his horse, stooped down, and cleaned up this man by pouring in the oil and the wine, Jesus came down from heaven, stooped way down, and cleaned us up from the muck and mire where the devil had left us to die. He goes back to heaven, sits at the right hand of his Father, and says to him as the Samaritan had told the innkeeper that if there is anything else they need, just let me know. He has poured into my life.

    The Peculiar And Virtuous Woman

    (Proverbs 31:10) (Romans 12:1) (Titus 2:14) (Titus 2:3)

Let’s look at the word peculiar. It means unusual, special, and exclusive. The word virtuous means having or characterized by moral virtue, chaste.

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. I am talking about women of the kingdom of God, women with virtue, women with great character, women of power and prayer, and women of faith. You have been endowed with these virtues because God has called you for a purpose. He drew you to him because he saw your potential.

We must always strive to be like the woman in Proverbs 31. She was a woman of moral character who was able to command her own spirit, and she knew how to manage other people. She was a woman with strength and power. I believe the one area the devil seems to be attacking women is with their identity. When you don’t know who you are, the devil will tell you, and others will label you. Too many women today are insecure; they do not know what they have in Christ. Nor do they know what the woman of God should look or talk
