Would You Believe?

R eligion is something that is either here inherently at birth as a part of our Creator’s plan or it is cast upon us after birth before we have a chance to make a choice of belief. Rarely is it ever chosen at a young age. Religion is specific. Spirituality is more of a general term.

When humans are born into this life of many confusing options, they inherit birth rights that have no connection with government, religious or majority rule influence. These are rights to scream, cry, think and speak freely. So, what do the adults do about it with their kids? They repress, restrain, and/or stop the natural birth rights of expression in the beginning by #1. Sticking a bottle in the baby’s mouth to keep it quiet. #2. Later, they prevent the child from passing through normal scruple stages by exploiting it with what appears to be unproven spirituality with all its inhibiting rules and beliefs. #3. They further prevent the child from making any free mind choices of believing by inflicting guilt oriented beliefs which tends to punish those who do not adhere to the organizationally established rules before they reach an age to decide.

This book is dedicated to those who desire better understanding of the so called thruth of spirituality and scriptures which have had erroneous influences in the power of belief. This book is designed so everyone can exercise their rights to look beyond as far as they choose without interference or influence of fear, previous rearing, parents, peers, religion or politics. This is private between the reader and the book.

BEST RESULTS IN CONSCIOUSNESS will be attained for anyone who "dares to read this book completely. These scripts air out wonders and fallacies of belief. This book opens a door to reality for those who were born into restricted, inhibited, historical and conventional limitations regarding perception of belief and trust. It is for viewing and understanding how these wonders and fallacies infiltrated the society of humans. This book opens the door for visiting what could be endless possibilities that will not only come to pass, but will come to stay; thereby increasing one’s ability to feel realistically secure concerning life’s existence rather than insecurely bound by archaic dreams of hypothetical and unsubstantiated contentions which have lead to world wide spiritual conflicts. The subject of religious belief is a sensitive subject so much where one’s religiously oriented defense mechanisms are candidly or sometimes even covertly sparked creating ill-will.

The following chapters are designed to open and expose, extend, expand and extrapolate intellectual and spiritual type perception of belief that relieves misconception and hostility.

The contents are not directly intended to sway, exploit or decrease any method of believing. They are only intended to open a case of tight fisted and archaic beliefs and display possible alternatives. The intention is to help broaden the individual’s perspective for the benefit of making choices in the area of conventional spirituality and believing in general.

These scripts are designed in such a manner so the reader will detect repeat statements. Those statements will be repeated differently each time. This is done for the benefit of retention; especially for those who may not retain easily.

The belief in conventional spirituality is not only confusing many times, but creates an illusion that is not fully comprehendible to many people because it has never been clearly and more accurately promulgated or defined to its strict rules of conformity without questioning.

Conventional religion can no longer avoid major changes because the belief is based on an emotional desire to be taken care of which has no bases and isn’t realistic.

Best results in spiritual consciousness along with or aside from the conventional aspect are displayed throughout the contents. Repeat reading is advised because this is a study in the belief and choice of mind consciousness.

Preface

T hroughout the history of mankind, the societies of the world have been driven by insecurity and belief which has motivated and perpetuated spiritual needs. That drive has caused reasons to satisfy those needs with only two options to choose from. That is, to make life and death somewhat bearable or suffer consequences forever after.

Everything mankind did from early life to later life existed with the belief of something happening that would offset the inherent insecurity of preparing a life just to die. Living as animals, insects, and smaller life in an accepted and natural manner doesn’t seem to satisfy humans.

There is no escaping from the reality where surviving, whether it is for preparation to live and fulfill desires or whether it is preparation for an after life, is at the top of the priority list with tendencies to compensate for insecurity of what may be in store.

Common sense and logic certainly does assist in preparing and supporting the necessity of making decisions wherever possible for the benefit of surviving.

Belief is the catalyst that hovers and strengthens common sense and logic for making decisions.

Humans are the only living species we know who prepare for their future here on Earth and after death. True, some do both, some do only one and some do neither.

The design of the chapters ahead are oriented more toward presenting what options have been exercised in the past, which ones are at present and which ones may be as time passes for helping to understand more clearly for the benefit of reducing some of that insecurity pertaining to what is for now or forever.

The question is always, with that design of preparation, whether justification for a specific belief is valid, fitting, true, maybe not so true or completely false.

Probing possibilities concerning now or the future can enhance one’s perception to feel even better about one’s present belief, make meaningful adjustments to a present belief or for those who have had mixed thoughts and feelings, could discover a revelation in perception for centering in and becoming comfortably focused on means and ways of existing in the mind and/or spirit.

If we weren’t raised with the so called truth, later we could discover what we believe is the truth and adapt to it without doubts or further questioning. Then it becomes a profound part of our constitutional makeup and we have no confusion of mixed or inhibiting feelings.

These scripts are designed to expose what belief is all about while exploring other possibilities in conscious awareness and spirituality. These scripts are a trip into the future of perception expansion in the world of spirituality for the benefit of discovering what may be more validly real compared to what may not be so real. The hardliners might term it as what is true versus what is false. That is the rigidity of the ancient past.

We have recently been entering into an era of thinking, believing and practicing our business and social activities in more of a competitive and sharing, but firm and flexible manner. This requires releasing old binding and inhibiting ideals of that ancient past.

The community of the world is closing in and the necessity of at least attempting to center in on some universal ideals of consciousness. Also, spiritual options are becoming available and more prevalent than in the past.

We writers, philosophers, religious and health practitioners, among other innovative and caring people can distribute a few ideas as contributing instruments of progress and/or change in the spiritual aspect of believing, but when we all deal with the bottom line choices in the real world of that aspect, it has to be the masses of the people who make those choices individually from their options gathered. That is not only their birthright privilege; they also justifiably deserve it.

The reader doesn’t have to suffer anxious feelings of betrayal or loss in these scripts because this mind tickling experience in religious contradictions and possibilities is offered as news and options for gathering or eliminating, not producing more exploitation and expectations.

A revelation may be created for the open mind and it might be stimulatingly entertaining. It will broaden one’s perspective if completed or it might just bring a good laugh! Whatever the impetus for completing this daring venture into the world’s most controversial issue and for those who are searching for valid reasoning in the power of belief, it won’t be boring.

Lastly, the purpose of these texts is primarily to broaden the mind in preparation for the inevitable and ongoing transformation of human consciousness relative to and with spiritual consciousness of the future while escaping outdated beliefs of the ancient past.

Chapter 1

Origin Of Belief

S chools of psychology concerning the origination of spiritual belief have convincing indications all life on Earth has always experienced some form of emotional belief. Under a microscope, small life is in a constant and frantic search for protection, food, companionship or sex which obviously continues because of a belief it will materialize through persistence and usually does. Hence, the fruit of belief. The same applies to larger life such as rats and roaches. They will accomplish almost any task they set their minds to, obviously again, because they believe if they do not accomplish their task, they may not survive. Appearances are that belief hinges on insecurity in the negative sense and confidence in the positive sense.

Escalating a bit to the size of the monkey, they are ego and emotionally driven. They are not driven as much by fear because they possess the confidence (the belief) that perpetuates them to jump and flee in a moment if necessary. Their belief system also allows them the confidence to capture the affection of other monkeys and more recently, humans.

The belief system of a rabbit or a bird, in general, is to survive and reproduce, but they are still confident in accomplishing their daily tasks because they believe in their defense mechanisms.

Humans, with more intelligence driven capabilities have had tendencies to complicate their belief systems as far back in history as we know because of developing so many alternatives. Some are helpful where experience is utilized and some become readily confusing and disastrous. Humans are aware of the risks of so many alternatives. They are aware they cannot handle everything perfectly all the time. That is a fairly firm belief too for the normal person.

Animals have always been simple and not greedy. Man has always complicated life by taking chances which is a belief in calculating, not necessarily a necessity. Man has always wanted more which is a belief in greed.

Word of mouth philosophy and belief in various supernatural beings were passed through many generations prior to materially recorded history.

Appearance and speculation has it people in those days were intellectually uncontaminated and didn’t posses broad perspectives of endless possibilities pertaining to, in this case, spiritual or religious concepts. Many beliefs were misinterpreted, misunderstood, mistrusted and condemned. Belief systems were only forming. The battles for religious consolidation unfolded slowly to remove the anxiety of their needs to feel secure.
