Anthony Herron

Tony Herron is a man that's trying to expose the real enemy behind all of our faults, wrong doing, bad judgements, our hurts and our pains. So that we will be able to have a stronger and better judgement on the decisions that we make and go through life a lot easier and with an understanding so that we won't have to make the wrong decisions without having a better understanding of our situations. I wrote this story because god has planted in my heart to the world who the real enemy is that we wrestle against not ourself, or each other but the demonic forces that we are up against.

    CHAPTER ONE

    SAM’S REALIZATION

Sam was running late for his interview Monday morning. He had to catch the bus because his car had broken down. There was another man on the bus stop waiting when he got there. As they sat waiting patiently for the bus, Sam heard other voices talking. No one else was around except for the man sitting next to him reading a newspaper. Well, Sam said, maybe I am not wide awake yet. Suddenly, Sam could hear the voices more clearly. As Sam looked closer in the man’s direction, he could not believe what he was seeing. Wow! he thought.

There were three figures. Sam realized the figures were not human. He did not make a scene. He acted as if everything was ok. Sam began to listen to the figures that were talking to each other. Let’s get him to go to the drug house.

No, let’s get him to get drunk and find a prostitute.

Let’s make him become depressed and do one or all of those things. At that moment, Sam realized that what he was seeing were . . . Demons.

Sam was able to see something that no one else was able to see or hear. As his heart began to beat faster, from being over excited, the demons started to scream over and over to the man sitting next to Sam. Go to the boat, you know you want to. How about another trip down Get High Lane? Go to the liquor store and get a bottle of booze, then get a hooker and live it up. By then, the man had folded up his paper and instead of catching the bus as he had intended, he just got up and walked off.

As the bus was coming, Sam said, Maybe . . . maybe I was just day dreaming. Sam got on the bus and paid the fair. He then began making his way to a seat. The bus was not only packed with people, but also with more demons. No one else could see what Sam was seeing. He could not believe his eyes.

How could this be? Sam then began to wonder if he was still alive. He touched the lady sitting next to him and asked her for the time.

    7:45, she replied.

I must still be alive, Sam thought.

As his stop was coming up, Sam stood up and made his way up to the door to get off the bus. He rushed into the warehouse where he was going to have his interview. Sam quickly walked up to the receptionist and said, Hi, my name is Samuel Jones and I am here for an interview.

The receptionist smiled and said, I’ll let Mr. Clark know you are here. As she picked up the phone to call Mr. Clark, Sam prayed in order to prep himself for his interview. The receptionist hung up the phone and said, He’ll be right with you in a moment. Same took his seat. He sat quietly trying to take his mind off what he had seen earlier.

Mr. Samuel Jones, I presume, said Mr. Clark. Sam stood to his feet and shook Mr. Clarks hand very firmly and proceeded into Mr. Clark’s office.

Sam was twenty-two years old. He was born in a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois. Samuel was brought up in church as a young boy. Baptized and saved; he grew to be an active member of the church. He would sometimes help out with ushering and with playing the drums. Sam was great in school and everyone respected and took a liking to him. He was still living with his parents and going to a junior college in his senior year. Sam needed a part time job for the summer in order to help pay for some of his schooling, which is why he was asked to come in for an interview.

Well Samuel, I’ve just went over your application and I see that you’re a college student.

Yes, Mr. Clark, said Sam. I am in my senior year and I was hoping to work for your warehouse and become a great asset to the company.

I see here on your application that you have some warehouse experience. Can you tell me a little bit about it? Mr. Clark asked.

Yes, when I was sixteen years old. I was hired at a small warehouse and within six months I was trained and learned how to operate a sit down lift truck, a stand up lift and a cherry picker.

Are you flexible? Can you work nights if asked to? asked Mr. Clark.

Yes sir, said Sam. That would not be a problem.

Great! said Mr. Clark, "I have a good feeling about you for some reason. I normally caution myself with most of the people that I interview, but I got a positive feeling about you. Let me give you a tour
