    Introduction

Whoever read my book The Spirits of Hallam FM will all ready be aware of my dealings with the psychic and paranormal goings on in my life. For those who have not had that privilege, then you and the already knowledgeable are probably in for a treat.

This is a complete insight to just about everything I have witnessed since my first encounter with what myself and friends thought was a ghost over 45 years ago.

In that time I have listened to many sceptics and boffins who will tell you there is a simple and more logical explanation for what I have witnessed, but when I ask Go on then, give it to me. The usual reply is Oh! I don’t know what it is, but there is.

Hog fish! They don’t know the reasons, that’s why no one will ever convince me that the paranormal does not exist. I know what I have seen and sensed and at it’s height it is the most weird and wonderful feeling in the world.

Have you ever had someone say to you You’ve been watching to much television and to many films.?

I happen to know that life is the other way round. Psychics and ghost hunters like myself provide valuable material for the film and television industry. Ever wonder where they get their ideas from?

I remember watching a very famous film where a brand new housing estate was haunted. How could this be? No one had died there, it was too new. You probably know the rest. The estate was built on an old cemetery and the headstones removed but not the remains.

That very idea could have come from most of the sites I have worked at night over the past 10 years as quite a lot of the buildings as we see them today are built on what was once Saxon burial ground.

Whatever the so called experts think they know, and it is only think, I would like to share my memoirs with you.

    Chapter 1

I was 5 years old and in my first year at school when I first encountered the weird goings on that would eventually lead me into the wonderful world of the paranormal.

We had moved from my grandparents home in Sheffield to a house in Eckington, North Derbyshire very close to the Renishaw Park golf links.

During the schools summer holiday we were to venture on several occasions across these golf links as there was a public footpath across them that led you to the river Rother.

It was common place to find stray golf balls in the rough at the side of the fairways. However early hours one morning I had a dream of finding a pink golf ball but did not think much about it other than nobody used pink, not even the lady golfers.

In the early afternoon of that day myself and brother, escorted by our mother and grandma, took a walk across the golf links and picked a place to picnic at
