About this ebook

My book, Gods Messenger Angels, is a true story written with detail provided by messages from the Lord. These messages are included in my writing. A spiritual experience of a visit by a messenger angel guided me through a chain of events which saved the life of my husband, John. With these messages, God has given me the gift of prophecy. These prophecies have eventuated with a high degree of accuracy. My husband and I were diagnosed with two different kinds of cancer. Mine was breast cancer, and his was low-grade lymphoma, which has no cure. After the diagnosis of my husbands cancer, we discovered he had a heart problem. With Gods blessing, we both had a spiritual experience of healing. The full story is recorded in the book. I do sincerely hope and pray it will give hope and peace to other people who are going through difficult times of affliction. May the Lord be with you and bless you.

Pamela Yates

When Pamela was nine years of age, her elder brother, Malcolm, drew a beautiful angel just before he died. He was aged eleven. When she saw the drawing, she felt the Spirit of the Lord come upon her. During her following life, her spirituality further strengthened and developed. It was after one night when she had a visit by Jesus Christ, who spoke to her, that she found she had a propensity to accurately prophesise. She later had a visit from one of Gods messenger angels. The chain of events that followed inspired Pamela to write all her historical events of prophecy, encouragement, divine help, and healing.

    DEDICATION TO GOD

This story is a dedication to the glory of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

I have written this book after receiving a special prophecy from God, who instructed me to tell others of the many miracles and spiritual happenings He performed in my life and the life of my family. It is with pleasure that I thank God for His help, guidance, love, understanding, and patience. When decisions are made without consulting God by prayer, we have found life can be a recipe for disaster as we have learnt over the years. There have been many trials and tribulations when my husband and I ventured off into the unknown. Yes, there were good times and difficult times. And when we got into trouble with our first two businesses and things started to go haywire, I started to pray to God for direction.

God answered my prayers, and our third attempt was a wonderful success just as God stated it would be in one of His many messages that I received. I asked God through Jesus Christ, His Son, to take over our lives and give us guidance. Jesus Christ lives today as He did since the beginning of time, and His presence, comfort, and healing are available; you only have to ask. This book is written in the hope that it will help others to understand and find spiritual help and guidance by accepting Jesus as their Lord, Saviour, and best friend. Be observant, and look for the guiding signs of the Holy Spirit, who is there to help you through every adversity as you go through life.

May your life be substantially improved with love, peace, healing, and the blessing of Jesus, who is my teacher, healer, and comforter. As you read this book, you will observe the non-fiction and true-life meaning of the above statements. Never underestimate the power of prayer and your loving God. Without further ado, I present this story that God Almighty has instructed me to write.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I wish to acknowledge and thank the following spiritual Christian people who made this book possible to the glory of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the ever-present Holy Spirit, who interceded and guided me in writing the content of my true given divine prophecy.

I would like to thank my husband, John, for his unsurpassed support and love during my prolonged illness and difficult recovery time. Many thanks to our church vicar, Reverend Wayne Walters, and his family for their prayers, advice, and spiritual counsel. The church congregation for their many hours of healing prayer and the prayer visits from Sue and Jenny, which were greatly appreciated. My family members who contributed to the development of the book; our daughter, Julie, a talented artist; and her son, Matthew, a graphic designer who provided drawings, artwork, cover design, and interesting spiritual articles. I offer thanks for the following as well:

    • The many unselfish hours Lois and Christine gave of their time in typing and helping to compile the manuscript.

    • The many hospital visits of my extended family. My long-term friends, Judith, Jean, Ellwynne, Marie, and Anne for their beautiful flowers and spiritual cards, which gave me great encouragement.

    • My medical team of dedicated doctors and nurses who, without their unsurpassed care and attention, this book would not be possible.

Holy Bible references are taken from the New International Version (NIV) or the New King James Version (NKJV) as mentioned. This is my story; it is personal and is my interpretation of scripture from the Bible and about events that have occurred in my life, which I have written in this book.

    CHAPTER 1

    My Childhood

    Growing Up In Brighton

Middle Brighton is a beachside suburb of Melbourne, the place where I grew up. I was the youngest child of ten. I was born at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Carlton in 1941. Our family home address was at number 5 Church Street. It was the most convenient location where anyone could ever wish to live. I’m talking fifty-two years ago. Now, and during that period until the present, much has changed in Church Street.

Starting from the first house next door to us, which was on the corner of Church and St Andrews streets, there were beautiful brick-and-weatherboard Victorian houses with gorgeous gardens, leading up to the shops going towards the railway station. On the opposite side of my house in Church Street is the Dendy Theatre, and it’s still operating today. Next to the Dendy Theatre on the left side was a drapery store, which was on the corner of Church and St Andrews streets. This was where I bought my first set of blankets later on, after I married. It was facing the first house in my street.

Now going towards the railway station on the opposite side to my house were a few shops, including a milk bar and a couple of dress shops. Then there were more houses—of about five or six from memory. There was a Commonwealth Bank on the corner of Church and Carpenter streets, and this was where my father did all his banking. The other half of the street going towards Male Street had shops, and there was a railway line going across Church Street in Middle Brighton. Later on, when I began working in the city of Melbourne, I found it very convenient to board the train at the station; the journey only took twenty-three minutes to arrive at Flinders Street, then only a ten-minute walk to my workplace.

The shops had everything that we needed. There were dress shops, greengroceries, a Coles variety store, a hardware store, delicatessen, butchers, grocers, a cake-and-pastry shop, and a bakery where bread was baked daily. I remember when I was a little girl of seven, and my older brother, Malcolm, was nine years of age at the time; we were asked to run an errand for our mother. She asked us to buy some fresh bread from the bakers who baked their bread from a small factory in a laneway behind the shops at the top end of Church Street.

After purchasing the yummy fresh bread, my brother and I could not resist the temptation of breaking small pieces off and eating them on the way home. I can still smell the delicious aroma in my imagination coming from the bakery to this very day. Whenever I go past the laneway, it still brings back many nostalgic and happy memories of my brother and I. Today it reminds me of living in an English seaside village when I was growing up. Everyone knew each other. It was such a quiet place to shop. It was so relaxing that one would just amble along, taking their time and looking at the dress shops in between shopping. Today it is a hive of activity. There was a post office on the corner of Church and Carpenter streets, which was diagonally opposite the bank. Now it is a dress shop and has taken the place of the post office, which had been there for many years. On the opposite corner, there used to be a barbershop. My father used to have his hair cut there, and sometimes my father would take me with him when I was only five years old. I would sit on the waiting chair and watch the barber cut his hair. At that period of time, there were no unisex salons like there are today. There were only men’s barbershops and ladies’ hairdressing salons. Apparently, there are some barbershops that are still operating. The barbershop in Church Street no longer exists. Instead, it has been made into a coffee shop, and the owners serve sandwiches, cakes, etc.

Whenever I used to walk past a ladies’ hairdressing salon, I could smell an awful odour, likened to bad eggs permeating the air. I was to discover later on that it was the perming solution that was being used by an operator to perm ladies’ hair. In those days, the fashion of the day was to have curly hair. If one had naturally curly hair, well, that was an added bonus. Today it’s not so common to have a perm.

Church Street also had another cinema called the Prince Theatre, or was it called the George Theatre? I can’t remember exactly. This theatre was close to the Brighton railway station. There was a black cab taxi service next door to the theatre, which was down a laneway. Many years later, when
