      Chapter One

      INTRODUCTION

      Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee:

      Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

      Abraham had a calling of God upon his life. He had to obey the voice of God calling him to leave his country, his own people and his father’s household. These were the three areas of influence upon one’s life. Every person is in one way or another attached to these areas in life. The country of birth, the community and your father’s house. One is attached to his/her country of birth because of the umbilical cord. This becomes a spiritual attachment. Many people cannot leave their country of birth based on the rituals made at birth. Whatever they choose to do it will be attached to their home country. Secondly, the community where one grew up. The place we grew up has a lot of influence in our lives. The influence can be either spiritual or anyhow. People feel closely attached to their home ground and their own people. Our entire upbringing is molded by the community we grew up with. Lastly, our father’s household; this is the immediate place where one is born. This is one’s origin, the parents and family. One’s umbilical cord forms part of the eternal covenant. God knew that these three areas were going to affect his calling. He left his home with his wife Sarah not knowing where he would end. God, who knew his end even before he was born, didn’t reveal it to him. Abraham had to be obedient to every instruction. This was a journey that would determine his success or failure in life. His obedience led him to earn the title of ‘The father of many nations’. When he left his country, he didn’t know that he was carrying kings and generations in his loins. Abraham could have looked at his situation and chose to backslide. He could have asked people’s advices to get to where God wanted to take him. God deliberately kept it a secret to not let him know everything from the beginning.

      There are many of us like Abraham who think that our success came by default or by our human effort. It is God who appoints us and guide us to take decisions that we take in order to land to our ultimate destiny. It is God that directs our choices in life that will lead us to our God driven goals. There are those in life like Abraham that follow their calling without questioning it. There are those by God’s intervention that connect later in life and only to find that one has tuned in God’s channel. Abraham had a great destiny in life. His obedience led him to occupy the highest seat of power on earth.

      The seat I am talking about here is not a chair that one sits on. I am referring here to a spiritual office that one occupies. There are seats that are spiritually monitored. Some of these seats are passed on from generation to generation. Those that have initiated these seats have established altars and thrones that must be revered by those that will follow them. This can be family altars that have been raised. Such altars will affect all people born from that bloodline. There are such altars that are politically motivated. Such altars are being established by the political revolutionaries.

      When a party is being established there are rituals that are being followed. This will depend on the belief system of the founding members. If they believe in God they will raise altars unto God. They will also make sure that their constitution honors their beliefs. The same applies to those that do not believe in God. In this book I will be talking about a number of those seats that affect our lives on daily basis. These seats are highly contested to an extent that people die for these seats. Some may even prefer to die rather than leaving such seats of power.

      This book exposes the spiritual embargo behind these seats. Every high position in life that one holds comes with power. Some positions hold more power than others. These seats can be
