FOOD IS A CELEBRATION!
Note: This e-book is intended to simply share information about healthy eating and diets. It is a simple guide for a healthy eating lifestyle. Always do your own research when deciding what to eat and what not to eat and take your health into your own hands. Be an active participant in your own life’s health path. Research your genetic history and take precautionary action and talk to your doctor about your health. I am not a doctor, so this is a disclaimer suggesting to take your health into your own hands.
This book is not about losing weight or gaining weight. It is about both. It is about health. It is about choice. It is about taking an active role in your own health.
The simplest way to know if you are healthy is by observation and common sense. If you appear healthy and you feel healthy, chances are you’re healthy. If you’re suffering from fatigue, if you appear unhealthy, and if you have symptoms, you’re most likely unhealthy and should take some action to improve your health. Health is the number one key factor in living happily. Without your health, you really don’t have much, so it is important to take good care of yourself and do everything you can to make health a priority in your life. This includes everything from having a healthy exercise routine to staying away from harmful drugs and addictions that can harm your body.
The number one way to increase your health is by reaching out to others in kindness and love. This action alone helps increase your health tenfold and makes you more energetic and happy. It is no secret that being social, giving, performing loving acts and the like increases your happiness level and lowers your stress level. The number one cause for diseases is stress. Being loving and kind reduces stress.
Am I recommending becoming a vegetarian like me
? No. I’m simply sharing my story and giving you the information that I know and allowing you to decide for yourself how you would like to eat throughout your life. I am encouraging trying new things, though, and having an open mind. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it is my approach to sharing a vegetarian outlook on life. And if you don’t eat processed food
then you shouldn’t eat meat, because most of it is one of the most processed foods out there. This is the only proven life that we’ve got, so why not make it a good and healthy one? You’ll feel a lot better. If that means eating some meat, so be it! If that means being vegetarian, so be it! It is really up to each person individually. I’m simply giving you the information to consider and sharing my personal story when it comes to eating habits.
DIETS ARE A DON’T
The idea that you have to try hard to eat right is ridiculous. Eating right is an art form and an absolute joy and should be a part of the passion of everyday living. What diets do is get you all psyched up for a little while until you eventually go back to eating the way your habit tells you to eat. The reality is that you have to change your habit, not go on a temporary diet. There’s going on diets, which are strict regimens, and then there’s eating a healthy diet. Dieting and eating a healthy diet are two totally different things. Dieting is bad. Dieting means that you have a plan that is completely different than what you are currently doing and sticking with it permanently is nearly impossible. Having a healthy diet is a lifestyle.
Ever notice that the more you go on a diet
to lose weight, the more you obsess about weight and the harder life is, and usually the bigger you get? I’ve done it! And the same thing goes with trying to be skinny, the more you obsess the more of a problem it becomes and the unhealthier you get. Well, that’s bad. It is so simple to just maintain health. Health should be the goal.
THE TRICKS OF SELF-OBSERVATION
It is so easy to see other people and alter your own sense of self-observation based on them. For example, watching beautiful models and celebrities and getting caught-up in trying to look exactly like them. Being happy with your own genes, in your own skin, and with your healthiest self is really an important success-factor in life. Some people even believe that health (because generally you’re happy when you’re healthy) is the definition
