About this ebook

The Old Couple
I walk through the park almost every day
And see many things as I go on my way
Often I see this old gentleman holding his wifes hand
They look at each other with a glance they understand
They sit by the lake and feed the birds and ducks
Occasionally smiling and giving their knowing looks
What a wonderful sight to see love so true
It brightens the day and fills your own heart too.

    Color Me Blessed

    10232.jpg

The warmth of the sun upon my face

The smell of the flowers, their loveliness and grace

The grass so soft, I know it’s green

The sky so blue, but never seen

What is green, what is blue

I see all things just like you

Yes my friend, I see all things

From insects black, to the butterflies wings

The silvery moon, the gold of the sun

The twinkling stars when day is done

The color of the sun I know so well

The color of the grass from its softness and smell

The moon the stars that shine above

I color them too, from Gods love

And my fingers feel my world for me

Nothing stops me, although I can’t see

Each season as its own hue

Just like joy and pain I color that too

It comes from my heart, my very soul

The colors of heaven make me whole

Danger is dark then we feel fear

But safety is a warm color that holds us near

Laughter is bright like happiness and love

The color is lovely and soft as a dove

Gentleness is sweet and light as air

Just like the brightness comes from those who care

And as my fingers feel the smile as I trace

It’s the color of love upon your face

Although your day is still my night

I’m no different from you except in sight

Perhaps I’m lucky for the colors I see

Are from Gods own love and pure as can be.

    November 1¹th

    10234.jpg

For every-one who fights, what does this day mean

Not without tears we can set the scene

    What does each one remember

Every day, not just the 11th. of November

What’s in their mind and in their heart

It’s not just their loved ones who are far apart

What do they tell their children of such days

    It’s the pain and loss
