Takeesha L. Williams
This book is written on behalf of all of the woman and young ladies who have been hurt betrayed deceived abused neglected and raped by society. We need a healing and a renewing of our minds. What we have suffered and been through is not who we are. It’s now time to take ownership of our lives and move forward. Right now is the time to live. It’s not ok just to be alive. I have been through a lot of hurt and disappointment. I have been deceived abused neglected and misused. For a long time I thought I just did not deserve anything better. I began to realize that I am somebody. I deserve the best. I realized that people only treat you the way that you allow them to treat you. We can’t disrespect ourselves and expect others to respect us. Love yourself first and then you can understand and know how be loved.

REFLECTIONS
A MOTHER’S PAIN
To lose a child is a nightmare an indescribable feat.
Just the thought of your child leaving before you is enough to make you weak.
Children are the fruit of the womb, a gift from God in which nine months you were physically connected.
Although the umbilical cord was torn after they were born the attachment is still respected.
You have carried and nurtured this child watching them grow, guiding them in the right direction.
You stick by their side night and day, putting yourself aside so that their future will be brighter than yours without any hesitation.
A mother’s love is endless. It has no boundaries. She pours herself into her child ensuring their success and safety.
Who can ever imagine a child leaving a mother’s arms forever, it’s just not something you want to see.
The pain and frustration she has to endure, and the questions going through her head; What if I… Should I have… or just Maybe…?
Make no mistake this a heartbreaking fate, but you can’t stay in the place that you’re in.
You are still alive, you have survived although that child is gone.
Don’t give up. Don’t become stuck. You have others that need and depend on you at home.
So take the time to invest in them and don’t leave them in this cold dark world all
